I over-tightened my mini davide

I can see the o rings smooshed over the threads Ive tried everything

am I the only one ?

Yeah, you need to replace the o-rings, unfortunately. AFAIK, there's no coming back from a smooshed o-ring.

Yea, just snug will do. That's the fastest killer of batteries and Pv's as well. Over tightening devices onto them.

I know better. I think I was on the phone when I did it .not paying attention .

Id replace the o rings if I could get to them lol . eventually it will come back apart - I think .
