Ive never messed with potenizers, and stuff like that. so I asking anyone who has built a 5v mod with a 3.7v battery to fill me in. what exactly do i need radio shack parts bins are confussing sometimes. mcquinn Posted February 18, 2012 Share Posted February 18, 2012 (edited) The easist way to build a 5 volt mod is to get a kit from Madvapes,They use two batteries and a voltage regulator board to reduce the voltage to 5 volts.Boosting a single 3.7 volt cell to 5 volts is way in the advanced electronics area. http://www.madvapes....Kits_c_187.html Radio Shack has battery boxes , switches and soldering irons but not muc else of value to us.
