  1. That is the rough spot, finding the right liquid. I did notice when the taste buds aren't all what they are cracked up to be, I have had success with the fruit flavors. I got hooked onto Strawberry-banana combinations. Every cartomizer and atomizer has a different taste to it. Even as simple as using different cones and tips. The combination is endless. Don't get discouraged and keep on experimenting and it will suddenly hit you like a ton of bricks.

  2. Just every so often Chinese quality control breaks down. I didn't have that bad of a ratio when I did pre-filled cartos. I still get blanks every so often that are just bad for various reasons. I learned to dissect and drive on.

  3. I use a jewelry ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning. It also works with cartomizers. I put cheap vodka in it run it for 3 3min cycles and it gets the taste out. I picked up the cleaner at walmart for about 25.00 and haven't looked back. I wouldn't gover 3 cycles otherwise you have stainless steel atomizers real shiny.

  4. I also have to recommend Liberty Flights. Click the 20% and the lite bundle is 29.95. I have several of these and also use them for gifts. I haven't had a problem with these. That is for the Riva 750 mah. If you want the Riva 1100 the best place to get for the price is Vapor Junction. They carry the East Mall Riva 1100. The price for that is 49.99. I have used him several time once for my 1100 and for various supplies. He is stands behind his product.

  5. I started in December with a company where the couples kit was $140.00. The cartomizers were atrocious. I went through several companies before I found what I like, a Riva I am still experimenting with what liquids I like and what works for me. I am still not totally analog free but I know in my heart that there will be a day where I hit that perfect combo. In the meantime I will enjoy the savings I am getting. I haven't gave up yet and I have no regrets.

  6. I use the cone to tighten the draw on some of the cartomizers. It will also change the flavor with mine in some instances. I have a regular Riva cone that I use and I also have a Riva 901 cone that I also use for the heavily stickered cones. All 3 ways will yield very minor differences to me. My wife doesn't really play around with them. she ssys the variations are miniscule. You will hear that taste is very subjective. I would suggest playing around with each cartomizer brand and see what you like.

  7. LOL <sirens blaring> Step away from the e-cig LOL. It is an addictive habit wait to start vaping your desserts like Key Lime pie and Strawberry Cheese cake or waking up to a pancake and syrup with a bacon back up vape. I wouldn't advise the t-bone steak or pork chop vape thought that was kinda of nasty but everyones taste is subjective.

  8. I have to suggest Dayna at sweet-vapes too. She has excellent flavors and if you don't see something you might like she will give it a try and see how you like it. She released some Peanut butter and chocolate after an inquiry. She stands behind her work, she some flavors down because wasn't happy with the consistancy. If she won't vape it she won't sell it.

  9. I would have echo Jon, There are a lot of properity systems out there. Once you get them you are limited to their products. I made that mistake and had to spend more of hard earned money to get out of that trap. I know that you heard this already but I had to do it all over again. I would start with the Ego or Riva from a reputable dealer. You have the options of a 2 piece system with cartomizers or 3 piece with an atomizer with a cartridge or tank. It seems a lot more versatle than a lot of other systems.

  10. I have been getting the $29.99 Riva 750 Lite Bundle kits from Liberty Flights, Been giving them as Gifts. They are out right now but their shipment is awaiting customs so I anticipate Monday they will have them in stock. I get my 1100 kits from Vapor Junction for 49.99 so that is not bad also. If you look at Liberty Flight prices make sure you click the 20% off first on the first page.

  11. woops I knew I am doing something wrong been paying $32.00 a kit for my wife and I lol. I like the buttons also over the Joye Ego. I found that I prefer the EM Riva over the Hello Riva and the SLB Riva. I seem to bet battery life with the EM. My wife gets over a day on her 750 where I use an 1100 mah. I want to drop back down to the 750 and get away from my 1300 and 1100. They don't quite fit in the cases as well.

  12. welcome aboard DeXTer. I am glad to see you here. I have enjoyed the service that your store has provided for me and my co-workers. The place where I work has to be smoke free by September and lot of co-workers are jumping on the band wagon. I would never believe that I have become a trend setter. I started all this before the smoke free announcement was made.

  13. It must be nice to have a vapor store around the corner. There is a guy somewhere around here that supposedly has one because I seen a bunch of youngsters at one of my hangouts with a bunch of ego knock-offs but they have no clue of what they have. They usually try to talk about how superior there product is to what I have and like you Beans and this forum has made me somewhat of a vaping snob also. They are in there with a bunch of pre-filled cartridges with no idea what an atomizer is. They have a tendency to disappear with I bring my kit out and start filling up a cart with some of my sweet-vapes liquids. My bartender says she can always tell when get there because she smells strawberry banana. I know I am wierd but I am addicted to the stuff. I can't smell anything from their pre-filled.
