Ok, I really need help with this as I only have the nickel coils right now and I have been smoking instead lately because I can't get tc mode to work. I hit the button three times so I know its on the right mode. For the coil it says .222 and then Ni by the degrees celsius listed. So I think everything is set up right? (I have the NI200 coils) But when I turn the celsius up above 200 the battery just flashes and nothing happens. Then if I turn it down to 100 something I am getting a very cold hit with VERY little vapor, almost like nothing at all. Is this thing defective? Am I doing something wrong? I am including a picture of a drawing of the exact screen on my cape because I can't seem to get a legible real picture of it. Thanks for any info, I'm desperate here, lol. I have it in rubbing alcohol. I don't have any regular.. Maybe I will switch it to plain water in a few minutes. I am out of that liquid and wont buy it again so I hopefully shouldn't have to do this again. Ive never had to before. Sent from my LG-V520 using The Vapor Talk mobile app

I had a really strong flavor that just seems to linger in my tank no matter how many times I rinse it. So I put it in warm water and alcohol. Is it okay to let it soak like that overnight? It does still have its gaskets on it because Ive never been able to separate the top from the bottom to remove them. It wont dry them out will it? Any info is greatly appreciated. Help! I can't vape until I figure this out, lol. I put the nickel coil it came with in and changed the mode to temp control but when I try to vape it was saying there was still a 0.5 coil in it. So I tried holding the power button and now it says there is a 9.99 coil in it? And won't let me hit it, the coil display just keeps blinking! Help I am feigning for nicotine and don't want to trash this brand new coil to put a clapton in!

I picked one that comes with a Samsung battery because I wanted to make sure I got one that came with one. I have some Clapton coils already that didn't work out in my Subvod (They kept messing with my battery power) so that's good that it will take those. I am upgrading from the Subvod mega TC to the Subox mini. Not a real big change except that I can adjust the wattage. So I guess my question is about coils. Which coils does this take and which coils do you need for each wattage? It is coming with 0.5 coils and the NI200 but do they take other coils? Thanks everyone. Last night I went and inspected the battery terminal (The circular part under where the tank screws in?) and there was some gunk on it, so I cleaned it with a q-tip and so far so good. (Knock on wood) I have used all three types of coils; the red ssocc, NI200, and Clapton. My problem with them is that all of them only seem to last me a day. I just don't get any flavor after awhile. But I will stop buying the Clapton if they suck too much power. I have some nickel ones on the way for TC mode, so once these are out, I will go with the red ones again. It doesn't seem to make any difference either way anyhow.

It was weird. I charged it for a little over an hour and it turned green saying the battery was fully charged. Was vaping off and on for a few minutes and now it's blinking again! Still hasn't actually died once, just keeps randomly flashing ten or so times after hits. I have been using the Clapton coils for about two weeks or so. I switched to those thinking maybe the flavor would be better and they'd last longer. I wanted to try ceramic but read that they were no good for this mod.

I don't ALWAYS charge it until it turns green, but I do every night when I go to bed so that it is fully charged when I wake up. That used to pretty well get me through the day. I may charge it once for like and hour or so throughout the day. But now it keeps doing this lately as the day wears on. It seems like it's just not holding charge as long as it used to. I even charged it for an hour and half earlier too.

Okay, thank you. I am currently charging it... I will clean the connections to be sure. Maybe I am just not charging it often enough. I just find it strange because the battery never used to do that, but maybe it's wearing out as time goes on

I am using the Clapton .5 and vaping on power mode. I tried to count how many times it's blinking and it's blinking around ten times randomly right after I hit it.

Hello, I have a Subvod mega and lately I will be vaping and the green light will flash a few times in a row. I have had it for about three months and never noticed it doing this until today. It still seems to be vaping fine. I tried charging it thinking that may help but it still is doing it here and there. Is there something wrong with the coil or something? I am planning on upgrading my vape at the end of the month but really need this one to last if at all possible. Thank you.

Thank you for all of you info everyone! I actually do switch flavors a lot, trying to achieve that flavor. I looked up the alien kit and am strongly considering it, it looks like a really decent vape, if I can learn how to use it But I always research the proper ways to use something before I even recieve it. Is it relatively easy to use? I am impressed with the wattage on it versus what I've been vaping with the Subvod mega.

I am planning on replacing my vape at the end of the month. I am currently using a Kangertech subvod mega. I like it a lot, but the only problem is the coils lose flavor very quickly! I don't know if it's because I chain vape or what. Sometimes they seem to only last a day. So I am looking for a replacement that has good coils and that I could buy a startup kit at a reasonable price. Anyone have suggestions? Should I just get a better Kanger?
