Ok, so it's time for me to order some more attys. Ive been using the ego "mega" attys since day 1. I personally havent been impressed with the mega atty vapor production. I have to prime it like a pipe and essentially take 2 hits in a row to get the amount of vape I need to feel satisfied from the hit. For me to switch to using regular 510 attys I would need to buy a cone and 510 blank carts, whereas if I stick with the megas all I need to buy are the attys themselves. Ok so, has anyone tried both? What do you reccomend? Dude.

Sounds like something I'd love, therefore, I cannot try it. I love Dekang flu cured; I get it for 8.99 /30ml. It's hard to pay that price for 10ml.

Yeah, no biggie if you dont completely quit at first. Just consider this, if you replace 1/2 of your normal analogs with vaping at first, thats that many cancer sticks you didnt smoke! I was so (excited) into vaping that I took right to it. When my first pos look-a-like broke I had a couple that day but, luckily, my ego arrived the next day and Ive been vaping since. It all comes down to you, and how bad you want to stop inhaling smoke. I truely prefer vape over smoke now. The smell [of smoke] is disgusting to me now. So hang in there and vape on. Dude

I have found that when you start to get that mustard gas taste it's time to drip some more. Also, if you over heat your atty you can semi-permanently embed this flavor i.e. "hot-boxing" the atty. I'm not 100% on this yet, but, I believe this is caused by charring the wick or other part of the element. To remove this seemingly permanent flavor try this: 1. get a shot glass; hold the atty mouth side up, and slowly pour isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol through it until the shot glass is full enough that when you set the atty into it it will cover the bridge completely. 1a. set the atty down into the alcohol making sure the element is completely submerged. 2. Allow it to soak 24 hrs then, 3. remove and run water, as hot as you can stand, through it - mouth side first for a min or two. 4. Prime with 5-6 drops, spin juice around to ensure the wick and bridge are saturated, and, 5. vape EASY for a few puffs. 6. Add 3 more drops and repeat. If, at this point, you still notice the funk: 7. Repeat steps 1 - 7, this time soaking 48 hrs but change the alcohol after 24 hrs. At first you'll notice the funk come on sooner, just keep adding a few more drops to keep the atty wet and after about 1-2 ml your atty will be back to normal. This works for me. Hope it'll work for you too! Dude.

I pretty much vape constantly, but I know that I do, so I cut my juice with some pg and vg to lower the nicotine. I buy 24mg juice and cut it down to 16mg - this saves money too! Maybe, once the novelty of it all wears off I'll slow down a bit. I used to smoke cigars and pipes too so Im used to smoking for an hour at a time. I was one of 2 kids in college smoking a pipe. I was known as "pipe dude." I love pipe tobacco, but now I have access to even more flavors with vaping! I look at it this way: when I was smoking tobacco I was inhaling over 4000 chemicals; now I'm only inhaling a couple. Seems like a winner to me. Even if I double the amount I vape over what I smoked I'll never be able to add up to 4000 so who cares. Vape away! Dude.

My eGO kit from Mikeusa.com is gauranteed authentic and came with two complete ego's with two mega attys, 650 batts, a drip tip, 2 regualar tips, 5 filled carts, charger and carry bag. It was 55.99 but i noticed today it went up to 57.99. It did not come with atty cones though the mega attys have a built on cone. I personally cant get into the drip tip. It could be all in my head, but I feel like I dont get as good of vapor production with the drip tip. The key, for me, to get great vapor is a long slow draw; even with the "mega" attys. I think the wide opening of the drip tip does something with the internal pressure that reduces vapor. But, I have not tried the 510 attys with it yet so who knows. Dude.

np. I probably could've went more indepth but didn't feel it neccessary to write a thesis here. Hopefully that eases your mind though. I read a report of a test they did on some rats. Two groups were used, both in containers; both groups exposed to the H1N1 flu virus. The first group was also exposed to vaporized PG, the second group was not. As it stands the group that had vaporized PG with the H1N1 did not get sick. The group that was not exposed to the PG got the virus and died. As I recall, the test was done to see if vaporized PG has the same effect of preventing microbial growth as pure liquid PG. I, personally, am doing a controlled experiment with vg and pg used seperately as in an agar growth medium -along with a food source- to test fungal growth. It's in it's first week of testing with no signs of growth, either fungal or baterial. I'll post any test result at the end of the experiment. Dude.

For any microorganism to grow certain conditions must be met: Temperature and humidity must be high, typically over 85% but ideally over 90%; food must also be present; this food should be in the form of simple sugars. This is one major reason plants store the food for their seeds in the form of starches! And finally, access to water is needed to fuel the fermentation process of breaking down the sugars for food. Propylene glycol has a magical effect of preventing mold growth. It is used in humidifiers for this very purpose. Along with its emulsifing properties and very low toxicity, PG, even when mixed with water, keeps humidity levels at 70%. It also prevents water uptake by these microorganisms therefore preventing germination of the spore itself. Indeed, PG is a truely magical substance! Also, if the carto is made of inorganic material as opposed to, say, cotton, that will inhibit mold growth as well. I got my kit from www.mikeusa.com -great guy, a lot of my vaping friends went with him and his customer service is unbeatable. Turns out the battery was DOA. I emailed mike and he's already boxed one up to ship out tomorrow for me. BUT NOW! But now, my first batt died after 12 hrs of hard vapin and I plugged er in to charge and within 10 min the light went green. wtf? I vaped on it to see if it was actually charged - it wasnt. I got maybe 5 puffs and dead. So I plugged er back in and now I get a red light on the charger thats now flashing green periodically. I've got the worst luck in the world with sht like this. If there was 1 lemon ever made I'd be the asshle who'd get it. I've got no back up and two worthless batteries. Does anyone know wtf is going on here? I'm thinking that trying to charge an unchargeable battery may have something to do with it. Remember, I didnt know it was a bunk battery. Anyone know what the "red to blink green back to red" on the female end of the charger means?

Hi Lil, thanks for the reply. The charging battery is still charging and I dont notice any odd smells or any smell at all actually. Its not as hot not as well. It's still warm but not too hot. It was completely dead when it arrived and has been charging for about 4 hours now. I've heard the first charge should be about 8 hrs and around 2 hours after that.

I have a couple of questions for the eGo vets here: I just got my new ego; it came with 2 mega atomizers and it seems that the cone does NOT come off the mega atty. Is this right or am I missing something here? I plan on getting some 510 attys for it and need to know if I'll have to get a cone for it - unless theres a way to get it off. Also, as the second battery is charging, i notice it's pretty hot; not too hot to touch but close. Is this normal? *edit* I forgot to add.... Dude is in LOVE!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the eGo. That's a shame really. That rule makes as much sense as telling you that your are not allowed to drink water, or exhale even. When we exhale breath we release CO2 and H2O. So, you can breathe in, but dont even $#@!$! think about exhaling mother$#@!@#!!! Lil, I'm not sure if youre still talking about vape but if so, why on the DL?

I find this very interesting. In Ohio you can't smoke anywhere inside but your home, car, and tobacco shops. However, a couple of my buds and I have been vaping inside at work for 3 months now -myself full-time now. We have so many unjust and stupid rules, but suprisingly, they dont have a problem with us vaping. Now that I dont go "out for a smoke" I actually go into the office area to grab a cup o' joe and sit at an empty desk and vape and chat with the upper folks. They find it interesting and actually a couple of them are considering giving "the switch" a try. I dont understand why you wouldnt be allowed to vape at work. No smoking rules or not, vaping is not smoking. My supervisor and I have decided that it's actually more productive to allow us to vape at work. Vapers are less likely to stop for a smoke break if they can vape while working. Has anyone even actually tried openly vaping? Did you get hassled or is everyone just trying to keep it on the downlow?

As a sidenote... Diacetyl is in your beer. A natural by-product of yeast fermentation (caused by high fermentation temps and excellerated fermentation), diacetyl is considered to be an undesirable flavor compound causing a butterscotch-like flavor. However, it is still there in low amounts in a decent beer. That being said, diacetyl is a type of alcohol, which in knowing that, gives the owner of a juice that contains this alcohol options. I'll have to double check my notes but I'm pretty sure the vapor point of diacetyl alcohol is 168F. So, does anyone know what typical atomizer temps are? What temp is required to vaporize ejuice? I'm still new to this and not sure of the physics behind vaping. Is it actually producing steam? Or, just "atomizing" the liquid such as a "cool mist" humidifier?
