  1. It's PG and VG and flavor. PG breaks down into lactic acid and VG into sugar. So, it can cause some issues like a build up of said lactic acid and give you unusual muscle cramps (if you do this a lot or are especially sensitive). The VG may have consequences, much like consuming loads of sugar does regardless. Drinking an extra couple of glasses of water daily will certainly help (it'll help even if you don't vape, most people just don't hydrate enough) and if you notice yourself developing changes, stop and see if they clear up. I'm not really sure what long term consequences it can have, but my general belief is they will not develop over night, are not extreme and are probably reversible on the whole if you just stop when you notice things like the cramping. Most people don't even get it, but it's been reported. I'm no scientist, this is just imo.
  2. So when I move back to school in August, I'm no longer going to buy any cigarettes and I'm going straight vape. I want to build some really high quality stuff..Been working hard this summer, got money, and figure I've been spending thousands on years of packs a day, so it's totally worth the investment to just get the nice ****. So, I want to start two builds. A tank and a dripper. Both rebuildable. I figure there's a learning curve, but I know all about electronics and the "laws" (have built 5 all tube guitar amps, modified plenty more. even got shocked off a 500v filter cap, that'll straighten your **** up lol), got a nice fluke multi and can do that simple math so I don't get a battery failure or otherwise "bad time, mmkay". Haha. Anyways, I just want to get some feedback from the vets about my ideas here. RBA: Kayfun Semovar I've read a ton on the Kayfun vs 91 vs everything. The Kayfun seems pretty nice all around, especially the plus v2 model and it's updates. I'm really digging that customization too. The Semovar really doesn't seem to be the best mod out there frankly, especially given it's price. But, these products come from the same company, look especially awesome (dope!) on top of each other, and well..to an extent volts and watts are nothing more than..volts and watts; provided the mod is juicing the coils with what it's really saying it is. After that, it's snake oil. Building amplifiers is no different (btw, if you play guitar, look into a kit for a first time and build one. It. is. epic!) RDA: Tobh Atty Mod...? So I'd really like to get the Tobh, I've read up quite a bit on it and it seems fantastic. There are other really great drippers out there, and I would love to hear about your personal experiences and what you'd root for, or just your thoughts on the Tobh if you own one. I realize such specialty items may not always be in supply, so a backup would be nice regardless. Now, my big question for you hard core drippers out there..mechanical mod or (for no better term in mind) digital? Most of the drippers I've seen in person are on mechanical mods. Would the Semovar be suitable for something like the Tobh, or should I also pick up a nice mechanical? And, if mechanical, what would you recommend for a high end one? Expect some serious vape porn coming your ways in the next month. Many thanks in advance! Peace. Admin..plz move this somewhere it belongs? I can't post anywhere else yet
  3. Hello vape junkies. My name's Alex, living in Pittsburgh. Bought my first vape a couple weeks ago and been loving it! I'm 20, and I've been smoking cigs since well..about 15 maybe even 14. I was about a pack and a half a day for the past few years, and as much as I'd tried to quit, even succeeding briefly, it's just a little hard with my stressful life working 6-7 days a week. And who doesn't love that morning, after lunch or after work smoke with a drink? However, I love my vape. And, it's an amazing alternative to smoking. I started working out in high school because I wanted to look muscular at the time, and so I did with a lot of hard work and dedication. I lost 50 pounds from running, then started lifting and ended up maxing around a 275 bench, 405 dead and 315 squat. For someone who was out of shape their entire life and started that late with anything physically related, that's not too bad. While other things in life today like my jobs and college have competed a lot for my time, nothing has sabotaged my health and desire to lift more than cigarettes. I'm sure plenty of you know what the cigarette lifestyle is like. Waking up, hacking ****, and hell no you can not exercise. You can, but you'll be breathing as much as you can and feel like your still gasping for air. And while I hold absolutely no judgement against people who choose to smoke because this is the "land of the free", lets face it..our society is discriminating smokers as 2nd class citizens more and more every passing day. But vaping just done changed the game, for me at least. I'm still smoking cigs, but this has easily cut the daily number in half. When I go back to school and can make an environment for myself without cigs (both parents at home smoke so there's always smokes around) I plan on fully embracing vaping. I can already feel my lungs resting a bit more, and I'm not coughing up nearly as much crap in the morning as previously. Nice! Just a little intro, and why I got into vaping. There's plenty of other reasons why it's awesome, but this is my #1. Looking forward to seeing yinz on the board! Oh, and here's what I started with (because we all love vape porn). It's a Sigelei VV/VW mod with an Aerotank Mega. Not bad for a start, but looking to step up sometime in August. Peace
