  1. Hey guys, new here, introduced myself in the Newb area, but I've been lurking here a while and vaping about 6 months. I had my E-Go V3 die on me 3 days ago for no clear reason, which really saddened me, but I had a really bizarre thing happen with my Kanger Aerotank a week before it, maybe you guys could shed some light on it since I can't seem to find any info. Basically, the threads of the "base" of the Aerotank that connect it to the tank (not the battery) either shrunk or partially melted...I know that sounds crazy, but it went from screwing on correctly, to me being able to slide the base into the tank like there were no threads at all...I've had no other issues with my vape rig thus far, and am baffled at what might have caused that. My local vape shop couldn't figure it out either, except to say it was the base that was damaged. Anyone wanna take a stab at this? second Q: since my E-Go rig died, I took the plunge and grabbed my first Mod, a Magneto, which I absolutely love. I also got a sony 18650 2600maH battery for it, which I believe spits out 3.7V last time I checked the specs, and an Aerotank. The rig performs very smooth, with decent vapor, but I'd like a bigger cloud. I know that many go the Sub-Ohm route, and while I understand the mathematics and everything about it, I'd like to not go that far just yet. I was used to getting very good clouds with the E-Go V3 due to the VV option, but since this mod is a flat 3.7V, I figure the only way is to lower the resistance. Would dropping from a 2.0Ohm to a 1.5Ohm head for the Aerotank make a large difference vapor-wise? Or would it be necessary to venture into the "rebuildable" area, where you have more control over resistance? Your thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I've been lurking around here for quite a while getting answers and opinions on things, and finally decided I should register since I'm going deeper down the Vaping rabbit hole, and would like to share my experiences and questions. Great site you guys are running here, with a lot of knowledgeable members. Been Vaping for about 6 months now, not a cig smoker, just enjoy using it to relax. Bought my first mod a couple days ago, and really getting into this, so anyways, thanks for having me here!
