  1. the oven can be your friend in a bind. personally there is nothing that can speed up a good brisket. slow and smokey.
  2. So many options! Is there like a start pack out there that i can buy that has small amounts of all of this material? I have yet to buy any, just used the shops materials to build this one.
  3. Thanks for the responses. I really think it might be the mesh. Just doesn't taste right. I would have not done mesh in the first place if it wasnt for the advice of the shop owner. Guess I'll rebuild it today with cotton and see how she goes.
  4. Just wanted to post a few things/questions I have run into in the past day using the new Genesis Hybrid RSST for my Magneto. Pictured below. *pictures with my iPhone, so may not be the best I built it at the store I purchased to make sure I didn't run into any snags along the way. I had watched a few videos on youtube where they wicked it up with cotton. The owner of the shop said that is one way but suggested using mesh. Well all is said and done and works fine and is safe but I feel like the hit is to harsh. At first I thought it might be the juice so I put some into my smaller unit with an aspire tank with replaceable prebuilt coils and an ego twist style batter set at 4.4v and it tastes amazing. Could the mesh be causing this? Should I try out the cotton build. This is my first attempt at a build so let the advice/criticism fly. I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section. Feel free it boot it over to the right place, still trying to get all the lingo, names, and abbreviations down.
  5. New guy here too. Thinking I'm going to go hit the graph paper/auto-cad and try to get something made up. Considering make it out of 2024 Aircraft Aluminum with mixture of flush and standard head rivets.
  6. Twist Ties from Bread! THATS GREAT. You would be amazed at some of the rigged 1/2 *** jobs I see on planes all the time. It can be quite unsettling for the frequent flyer, though flying is still safer than driving any day.
  7. Safety was actually one of the things holding me back from doing this sooner. When you are messing with these batteries all types of bad news can happen if its not done correctly. Try seeing it happen on a 787... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_787_Dreamliner_battery_problems
  8. Oh I have one. Just not in picture. Its a beat up one that would have not looked so great in the picture with all the abuse it takes. Aircraft Mechanic here.
  9. I had the same issue with the one that came in my kit. I took the white plumbers or teflon tape and did a few wraps. Worked perfectly. Ended up getting a few twist batteries after but it still works fine.
  10. Hey. Whats up from Texas. I'm quite new to vaping but have picked it up quick and have kinda dove into the hobby aspect of it. Started awhile back with just a starter kit from a local shop here. (Coval Vapes.. shoutout). Loved it. Ended up buying a twist style battery for it. Today I took the next step after quite a bit of research online and talking to people in the shop. Ended up with the Smok Magneto with the Magneto RSST. Couldn't be happier. Looking forward to learning more and making my builds better and better.
