is the center post supposed to be able to come out? the second i tried to raise it, the whole thing just slipped out. No progress

Hey guys, I'm new here and 2 months ago i purchased the Kangertech EVOD. Today i awoke to find a strange problem with my e-cig that prevents me from getting vapor. After cleaning the tank like i do every morning my e-cig wont produce any vapor at all, and the juice seems to just vanish altogether (no vapor is coming through but the e-cig appears to be "hitting"). I've charged it fully, and have replaced the coil a few times. I've looked all over the internet but haven't found any kind of working solution.
