  1. On 2 of my 3 ego batteries, I have the same problem. This may not be your problem but mine was that the center post on the battery gets pushed in, and if it goes too far in, it won't make contact with the charger when screwed in.

What I do is take a small screwdriver or a knife and kind of pry the post up abit.

We have 3 people who vape in our house so LOTS of batteries and chargers and we had that same problem. Some batteries only worked on some chargers, it was frustrating! Hubby fixed that center post with a pair of tweezers,,,all work great now! We found if you only screw the Ego battery on until the light flashes red, even if it is not screwed all the way on, it can prevent that problem. Lots of friends and customers who said they screw it on tight then have this problem thinking the charger or battery is defective.

  2. I vape everywhere and anywhere! I love it when I am grocery shopping! Always raises a few eyebrows and usually someone will walk around me sniffing, I am guessing trying to "bust" me for smoking.....but alas....no smell!! I can finally sit through an entire movie in a theater now that I vape. I was questioned while vaping in a non smoking area of a casino, but was quickly left alone when I explained, no smoke, no smell :yes

  3. I am not too sure about the blood pressure issue, but as for the family reunion...BEST OF LUCK!! :animier: My husband picked up an ecig after 35+ yrs of smoking and never picked up another analog (so very proud of him!!) but me on the other hand, I went from over a pack and half a day to less than a pack a month, only smoking in certain social situations, usually if I have a beer/or drink and around a lot of smokers, and rarely actually smoke a whole ciggie, so I am more than happy with my progress! If you are worried, make sure your ecig is charged and juice is full, stay clear of the "smoking area", hang with the non smokers! It can be tough, but boy what a pay off when the coughing and wheezing stops!!! Please let us know how you did!! GOOOOOOOOOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. My daughter went to Europe a few months ago, with only only a carry on and had no problems at all. Her juice was in the zip lock baggies and her batteries where in a case. She called ahead to make sure she could bring it on, the airline said yes but she can not vape on the plane. She will vape anywhere until someone tells her she can't! She said she had no problems in the airport while vaping, but I am guessing some airport security will have issues if they don't understand what they are.

  5. i posted a topic in the new members forum before and i had gotten some pretty good answers but i thought this might be a better fit for my topic. so can anyone give me some e cig brands that are high quality and that have from your experience tasted very close to the same as an analog? ive learned that it will never be exactly the same but being a newbie and not wanting to make my own liquid i just want some good suggestions, and what i should look out for and not purchase. ive been looking for a starter kit similar to V2, but ive heard V2 is not the best. any information will help thanks

We started with the V2 and found the hit just wasn't enough...moved to Ego Twist and LOVED it. I stayed with the egos adding the E-cab mod for when I go out (fits great in pocket or purse!) and hubby moved up to the Vamo. Lots of Ego kits in the market place here! It took me so long to find a juice though. I finally found Blue Ice from Baker Vapor (great prices!!) and that is my go to flavor, but I also love the raspberry lemonade! Now I have about 30+ bottles of flavors I tried and didn't like but use them to let people sample when we are at a flea market or other venue to sell or I let friends try so they can sample flavors!

  6. I have passed enough things around in my life it doesnt bother me at all to let someone take a draw off mine. They usually cough their heads off for some reason. That never happened to me when I started.

I coughed for the first hour... I smoked for so long I am sure my lungs thought the vape was a foreign substance....now...no coughing. But I do notice some people do when they try the vape. I just tell someone trying it for the first time...go slow...take a small hit. As far as people wanting to try mine, I carry a spare tip...but it is odd stranger wants to put their mouth on something someone elses mouth was on! :dizzy:

  7. A few off us found it very easy, my wife vapes and smokes. She just can't seem to leave the stinkies alone

Hubby picked up the ecig, never touched another stinky again....after 35+ yrs! I am SO proud of him! I went from 1 1/2 packs a day to maybe a pack a month, more socially around other smokers, but ALWAYS feel a little ill after. I found a great juice (Blue Ice from Baker Vapor) and prefer the vape to the ciggies 99% of the time! My brother, his wife and numerous friends are completely stinky free!! :animier: Once hubby stopped the stinkies he wanted to help others,,,,so now we sell them! I LOVE LOVE hearing stories of people quitting!! Too bad it is so damn hard to sell these :dizzy: Amazon and Ebay kicked us off with threats to keep the money we earned and getting a shopping cart for our website was not easy....but we did it....now we have to spread the word :gathering:

  8. My husband smoked 2 packs a day for 35 yrs....picked up an Ecig and never touched another analog again! I smoked a pack a day for 30 yrs and it took me a little longer! He smoked menthol ciggies, so picking a juice was easy for him but I could not find a flavor that I liked enough to throw my analogs away, FINALLY I found a few I liked then a few more I LOVED! Mixing some fruit flavors with a tad of menthol works great! Unlike my husband, I couldn't put the analogs down for good, but figured a pack a month is way better than a pack a day! Even if you can't completely put them down, using the ecigs as an alternative (like I did for a long time) you might find that when given the choice of an analog or taking a vape, you might start choosing the vape more times than not. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I can smell my perfume and that my hair smells like my shampoo!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!
