  1. I have really enjoyed my silver bullet, its a workhorse. I have had mine for about a year and a half and have a couple points of criticism. I started having trouble with the finish (chrome) at about 8 months despite cleaning it 1-2 times per week. Now it looks really really bad. I'm talking about chrome being totally rubbed off where my hand holds the mod. I'm not overly hard on the mod so this was a shocker to me. 2nd thing is the connection is finicky at times. When I get a new carto or atty I usually have to get a safety pin to pry up the center post on the mod to get it to fire. As far as power and length between charges its pretty standard on both. 6V will give you more power but less battery life. I would go with an 18650 and a lr carto or atty with this mod. I think there are better options out there depending on what you want. If your more into >3.7v vaping I would get the Buzz or a provari. I liked my sb at 3.7v but I have decided to get a reo grand so I don't have to mess with dripping anymore. Sorry for the long post lol. Basically the sb is a very good mod but there may be better out there depending on what you want. Edit- Almost forgot to answer you question lol. The sb works very well with lr boge cartos with and 18650 and 6v with standard caartos. Not a fan of xl cartos myself, i use the regulars with a drip tip and all is well.
  2. Kickbassvapor is now my main ejuice supplier. While I have enjoyed their sweet / desert juices they have amazing tobaccos. Special K and uncle nutty rate right up there with bobas bounty for me. Vape placid is great if you like menthol. Frosted maple rolls is to die for if you like sweets.
  3. I bought my 510 -> kr 808 adapter from madevapes, they are cheap and have an adjustable airflow on them. I used both types of cartos they sell exclusively at 6v and both performed very well. http://www.madvapes.com/510-to-901808-D-Adapter_p_2151.html I would also get a metal drip tip for them as the mouthpiece can get warm.
  4. Man, talk about a tough crowd..... You can do a quick google search and find out more. I'm not going to be the ikenvape spokesperson here. Joye attys and boge cartos are great but there are better imo.
  5. For you guys that don't mind the cartos with filler material you really need to check these out- http://ikenvape192.corecommerce.com/All-Cartomizers-c11/ The drip style gold v2s are actually in stock atm. These are the best filler type cartos available imo.
  6. If you want a good carto look at ikenvape, probably the best regular cartos around but stock is usually low. You could also look at the ce2 clearomizers. They do have a bad reputation for nasty taste and wicking problems but can be easily modded to wick correctly and performance is greatly increased. A few things that really help are fluffing the wicks and leaving a little space between the filler cap and coil when putting them back together. Boge cartos have really taken a sharp decline in performance in the last few months imo. I kept thinking I had gotten a bad box but after 5 different orders of bad boxes I'm done with them lol. If you don't mind adapters the 808 cartos from v4l are great. Another very nice thing about these is once the flavor and vp diminish you can easily take out the filler material and drip on them like an atty (this actually performs better than when the carto is new lol). I'm a big fan of the map tank myself
  7. I have several flavors I use as all day vapes lol. I normally pick 1 of them and use it the whole day then switch flavors the next day. You could try some dekang ry4 or a good menthol. I really enjoy awesomevapors ry4 and think it makes a great all day vape. No, it doesn't smack you upside the face with vanilla and caramel but its a nice change from all the super strong flavors everyone seems to be selling these days. I have a few flavors I consider all day vapes- Tobacco- avejuices bobas bounty, fsusa ry5, fsusa Wyatt Earp, good dekang ry4 Sweet- homemade mix of fruit / menthol (cherry/menthol is great) Spicy/hot- tastyvapor Geoff's blend, vaporrenu cinnamon red hots I could probably get a lifetime supply of bobas bounty and geoff's blend and be content until I die lol.
  8. The map tank itself should last a very very long time (not a disposable tank). The part that will need to be cleaned / replaced is the ce2 carto inside. They are $12 for 5 of them and can be trimmed to fit with an inexpensive pipe cutter and a couple minutes. You can also buy precut ce2s from cov if you don't want to mess with cutting your own cartos down. I would say they need to be cleaned after 15-20ml of juice vaped and replaced when they stop working lol. To clean you pull the carto out of the tank and rinse the tank and ce2 with water. The tank is very sturdy and performance is excellent.
  9. I have heard nothing but great things about the provari, everyone seems to love them. I was looking into getting one but I can't get over the way it looks. To me it looks like a 10 y/o girl went to town on the device with a bedazzler LOL.
  10. Sorry to hear your having carto trouble miles. Could you tell us what cartos your using and what juice your filling them with? I have had similar trouble when using lr cartos and vg juice, its hard to get a good fill with some thick juice and it can also wick poorly.
  11. I just received my map tank from cov last week and it is the way to go as far as tanks go imo. I'm using the 3.2 ohm on my buzz at 4.5v and its been a pure pleasure to use. The internals are easily replaceable and super cheap. Most angry pirate and cov hit a home run with this tank! The only bad part is they sell out fast so you have to be ready when more stock is added. Here is a youtube link to see what the mod looks like on a few devices- And here is the link to the site- http://www.cloudsofvapor.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=104&Itemid=85 Edit- cant get youtube link to work ><
  12. Agree with the above posts. I would swap out batteries when you notice a drop in performance, don't wait for the battery to stop kicking out power. Basically I would use protected batteries and treat them like they are not protected lol. Don't rely on the battery to keep you safe. Glad your liking 6v btw
  13. While your on an atty spending spree you should pick up a couple lr cisco 306's and 510's. The lr cisco 306 is a beast and has better performance than anything I have tried at any voltage. My cisco 510s are in the mail so I can't really comment on those yet. You may be like me and prefer 3.7v after you try these.
  14. These cartos last about 4-5 days for me if I keep them wet. I use them at all voltages and the work very well. I like to use a 510 drip tip with them so its easier to keep them topped off after the initial fill. Using a pg based juice will also help them last longer (vg tends to not wick as well and it can clog them quickly).
