hows it been goin? i have been popping on the chat and stuff trying to catch some peeps so i can just chill and chat but with my new schedule its hard to catch anyone lol sorry for being away so much now

they could also just have 2 elements inside which would create a lower resistance and more heat but other than that i never have understood how the low and high res attys work because normally with electricity more resistance more heat that is why a lightbulb filament is so tiny it gives it alot more resistance unless the attys just use larger leads on the inside or just copper leads instead of tin which would give the lower resistance im not sure i suppose if anyone had a blown one they could send me to disect so i can figure out how they do it lol

it really depends on the brand of battery and the size of the battery and the type of battery it is depending on what the protection circuitry cuts out at. but it is a good question
also some people get the cut out midex up with the way they tested the mah rating such as 1 amp for 1 hour or .5 amps for an hour to get the MAH rating. -

the spade and vp are great mods if u can get ur hands on one
though i have never personally used one i have never heard a bad thing about them, and when the vp pt comes back out they are a really good unit too, they jus thad some technical stuff that was going wrong with it, just have a look around there is a site with all the mods listed but i cnat remember what site it is if some one wants to post it for me :poh lol jeffb posted it

to get watts you take amps*volts=watts so 5 watts/2 amps = 2.5 volts id say for 5v it would be 10 watts 2*5=10 but t 2 amps for best power results, you cant 'force" amps through, they willl take wha they need, so if u used a 5 amp 5 volt adapter you would get 5 volts still and no harm done

what i do when my attys are dong this, i know it sounds bad... but just give it one really hard mouth draw without pressing the button (and be prepared to spit) youl hear it gurlgle once, then trake a long slow drag.... also if you had just blew it out really good... reallllllllly good... youl need to put more than 2 drops the first time, atleast 3 or 4 sometimes 5 to reprime it.... also another cleaning tip i read on another forum, the best thing they found to use whas crest blue mouthwash, sounds wierd, but he was concocting a cleaning thing and he ended up finding that it worked awesome all on its own, i think u let them soak in it over night, not sure, go over to the other forum and search around, i think it was ecf

i generally do the paper town thing to cept i blow on the battery end
gets pretymuch all the old flavor out quicker though -
well if the 9v batt can do 9v 1a and i looked up 9v batts and they are ~400 - 500 mah so it would be almost 3 times longer then a regular battery, but the voltage would drop to almost 4 once put under a load from the atty because of the 1a output, if you look at other sites you can find a higher rated 5v regulator madvapes has them (1.5 and 3) and even though the regulator is brining it down to 5v its only about 80-90% efficient which leaves you at about 360-450 (at 90% efficiency) mah battery life(other 10% of energy is dissapated at heat i do believe dont worry it wont get hot lol not even warm its such a minute amout of heat ), so its should still last longer than a regular battery and should work on a pt but i would just wire it like this
but my pin 1 and 2 might be reversed from the actual thing i havent used a 5v reg in a while the instructions should say... :/

just make sure that if you are going to do the batteries in a series to put a 5v regulator on it, 6v most of the time requires special attys, and 7.4v (2x3.7) dotn wanna go there

i wouldnt mix the regular aaa batts with the lion batt... i would just take the normal aaa bats and replace them with bolts or something so u are getting 3.7v 2 lion bats would be 7.4 volts would fry an atty prety fast.. unless you put a 5 v reg in there some where.. and mixing the lion with the aaa is not such a good idea mixing battery types can cause extreme heat... trust me
lol but it would be much safer if u put spacers (or even wires) to jump the other 2 battery slots.. but make sure if u use bolts to cover the length of them with tape or something so they dont short on the body of the light

another thing you can do is try to clean off the batt and atty connections sometimes i find they collect gunk either from being in a pocket or just ejuice that has gathered
