  1. I still think it is important for the community to come together on a cohesive "vaping system" that has a low cost-to-market-entry ratio and is extensible and able to adopt to any vape style. EDIT: i can't remember any of the sites right off the top of my head, but there are sites where you can import your CAD plans, or design right in the web-browser, select your materials and they will machine one-offs and ship them to you for prototyping, etc. I think that may be a cost-effective way at first until I can line up some production contracts once the initial version of the e-cig design is finalized.
  2. Howdy Folks, I've been vaping for about 5 years now and I thought now is a good time to disrupt the marketplace by creating a community-directed open source electronic cigarette. I am a software engineer by trade so of course I had to throw up a site once I had the idea. The website is: http://www.opensourcecig.com/ I invite you to come check out the website, it is in a wiki format so it allows the most flexibility to allows us as a community to develop a strong community around a single, unified e-cig design that is extremely flexible in both design and application. This e-cig would be modular and allow for complete customization including coming in multiple sizes. Please come join me in bringing this dream to a reality and bring the power and the money back to the people, the community. Now that 3D printers are becoming mainstream, this leaves the door wide open for us to take complete control over our vaping with low cost in-home production, and for those who don't have a printer, they would be able to browse the directory of vendors offering the product pre-manufactured at competitive rates. Sincerely, Travis Rowland
  3. Hello Travis Rowland. You have a new message from Justin Scheider. Re: Never received my carto puncher Message: Travis, This is the first CS Ticket I have received from you on this matter. I was unaware of the problem as all customer service is done through the use of these tickets. For future reference please use CS tickets for all forms of contact/assistance. I have used the info you have provided and the USPS does not have any info on your package. They have the info from us but there is no record of the shipment being processed through them. Which means, after I must have dropped off your package, they must have lost it. I am sorry that this problem was so on going I would have resolved it immedately for you. Through the use of CS tickets you can get a hold of me any sort of problem solving. I have sent you out a v4 carto punch, upgraded the package to priority mail, and included 3x 30 ml bottles of juice, as our way of trying to make this up to you. Butterscotch 16mg nic, Tobacco 16mg nic, Bobas Bounty 18mg nic. I am sorry that you had not seen resolution until this point, but please next time fill out a CS ticket, and I will take care of you problem right away! Here is your tracking number 9405511201080355591813 We are extremely sorry that you have had this problem, I hope that this will resolve it. Sorry about that friend Justin Schneider Clouds of Vapor Customer Service & Sales Manager
  4. Just sent this message to them, hopefully someone here that knows them more personally will also see this and forward it to them. I am so upset!
  5. Oh sorry, I guess I will go and read the rules now. Thanks.
  6. I was also wondering if anyone has thought about the possibility of creating THC-e-juice. I don't smoke weed, and I never will, but my wife does. Is this even a possibility? Where would I get it from?
  7. Thanks for the replies, I think I am actually going to get the Joye510 from cignot.com - I did some more reading and found a lot of bad things said about blu. Anyone done any business with cignot?
  8. Hello, I am obviously new here and I would like to start by saying I am going to purchase my first e-cigarette today. I have my eye on blu cigs, I am going to purchase two starter kits for both my wife and I. I have done extensive research and googling about e-cigarettes and have come to the conclusion they are not a scam, they work, and that the best bang for the buck to get started would be the blu cigs. Please correct me if I am wrong, as soon as I get a check today I am going straight to the bank, depositing it, then going home and ordering my starter kits. I am completely ecstatic and definitely can not wait to get them in the mail. Nobody around where I live has e-cigarettes, and I have never talked to or met anyone who has ever vaped before, so it is absolutely groundbreaking for me. I have been looking at them for over a year now, and I finally feel like I am ready to take the plunge and never look back. Any input would be greatly appreciated for me as a newbie, I don't want to make a mistake and start out with bad/wrong e-cigs. I know everyone has their taste/preference, however at this time I am very limited on my budget, and have to get an e-cig for both my wife and I as we spend most of each day separated from each other, so I definitely need to purchase two, and have enough cartridges/atomizers/batteries to last me about a month to get started. Thanks in advance.
