  1. Hey all thanks for reading my post. I just heard about the LR attys yesterday and have looked around some to try to find a place to purchase some for my 810 SD. so I was curious for those that have tried them where would be the best place to find LR attys and how are they marked as LR in the stores that sell them? e.g. different numbers? like instead of BE112 would it be BE114to denote LR. thanks for any help guys I have been pretty disappointed with 810 attys so far which is part of the reason I mostly use 901 attys (specifically the R4075) Thanks again icarus
  2. hmm ok warning for mac users don't try this until Dave incorporates it into his calculator for macs. Yikes man sorry to hear it screwed with your system like that hehe imagine that Gates and Jobs not getting on together eh?
  3. Out of curiosity do you have macros disabled on your home PC? By default office disables macros unless you say it's ok to enable them for a particular document. I have been able to use it in office 2007 and in OO if you don't have them enabled. Is the error message asking you about Macros?
  4. Yeah I was afraid of that considering that he has some VBA functions in it. Wasn't sure if OO could handle those, wonder if there is an add on that would allow OO to be able to run it? What function were you using when it froze your OO? I have been trying some things using OO and haven't run into that yet I can try to recreate the error and ask him if he knows what might be causing it? Thanks
  5. today I have been smoking Rapple(Rasberry/Apple) and Cherry Dream(LorAnn Cherry/Strawberry/Raspberry/Tropical Punch/Marshmellow) very tasty which is a recipe I found in the calculator I posted on the DIY Liquid forum
  6. Yeah it really is and from the look and the number of features it has he must have worked a lot of hours on it. It really is nice enough for him to charge for it. Very cool that he is putting it out there for free :-)
  7. I posted this in the other thread but I wanted to put it where others could see it and could get use out of it ejuce_calculatorv11.zip This was created by a poster named Scubabatdan on another forum, here is the post. The guy first posted it in August last year and has been updating it pretty consistently since. It also has recipes, you can add your own, which then get calculated into the number of drops of each flavor you need as well as the nicotine juice and PG or VG cutter. It even has a cost calculator to help you determine exactly how much you are spending for each ml of juice you mix. It is very well done and has helped me immensely. I hope it is as useful for you guys as it was for me ejuce_calculatorv11.zip
  8. ejuce_calculatorv11.zip There it is the guy has spent a ton of time on it and it works great! This is the post he made to put it out there his sig has a link to the latest version It does require MS Office but I was able to open it in OO last night didn't try to do much though Hope you guys find it as useful as I have ejuce_calculatorv11.zip
  9. Hey all I was wondering if it would be bad form to post a really nice EJuice calculater (excel) created by someone from another forum here for you all to be able to use it? He distributes it for free on the other forum so I don't see why it would but thought I would check first
  10. I use the 54mg premium from Totally Wicked exclusively I have tried a couple of others that were good but not as good as the 54mg. I have been using LorAnn flavorings for the most part, have tried Flavor Art and didn't like them as much as LorAnn. The 54mg is a little more pricey but they have a 3 pack of 30ml for 120$ which is a decent deal just one is 45$ but I have kind of always felt you get what you pay for in general. I have seen some claim that the 54mg seems stronger even when they mix it to a 36mg level but I don't think so, a 30ml bottle of 54mg premium will last just as long as any other 54mg nicotine liquid so don't fall for that one. You can get the LorAnn flavors directly from LorAnn as well and they offer free shipping on orders over 70$ which is enough flavoring to last a very long time and you don't have to pay the markup that ecig stores charge. 1oz (29.5 ml) bottles are only like 5.50 from LorAnn directly the 1 dram bottles are only ~3.9ml. When I have ordered from LorAnn it usually takes about a week to get the shipment which isn't bad. Hope this helps
  11. Glad I could help Considering you have 1500+ posts I imagine you have been mixing your own for a while but just in case here's a tip I wasted a few bucks ordering Lorann flavors from ecig sites when I could have just went to LorAnn's website and gotten the same thing for a heck of a lot less. I was paying like 7.99$ for 5 1 dram(3.9ml) bottles of flavoring which is actually not a bad deal for the 1 dram bottles but once you have found flavors you like you can get 1 oz (29.5ml) bottles of flavoring from LorAnn's site for 5.50$ for most and 8$ for a few of the more special flavors and 4 oz is an even better deal at only 14$ but I haven't gotten any that big seems like it would be too much They also have dropper tops for the 1 dram and 1 oz bottles which work GREAT for quickly putting together mixes. Good luck with the experiments this weekend I have a feeling you will enjoy the tobacco flavors I know I did. P.S. Isn't it great mixing your own getting to tinker with recipes and come up with your own favs?
  12. Did they also do a study that determined eating does not cure hunger? Yep at least those tax dollars are being used wisely
  13. No problem at all I had alot of trouble finding much info on FArts before I bought it hmmm I typically need about half as much FArt flavor as Lorann so if it takes 20% Lorann flavoring it would probably take 10% FArt flavoring, not sure how that breaks down in price though. From Lorann's website I can get 1 oz of Cheesecake flavoring for 5.50$ 5 ml of FArt strawberry is 4.99$ 1 oz = 29.5 ml so for almost 6 times the volume you are only paying .50$ more from Lorann but have to use twice as much Even with that you are still able to make 3 times the amount of e-juice for only 0.50$ more so it does seem like the FArt fruity flavors aren't worth it because you can get Strawberry from Lorann as well. Having said that I do believe the FArt tobacco flavors are worth it and the one I tried really was excellent and only took 2 drops to flavor 5ml of ejuice. If you like tobacco flavors I would highly recommend trying some of the FArt ones because they taste great and as a bonus it will last forever since you only need a couple of drops for every 5ml of ejuice you make. I hope this helps and hopefully I wasn't too long winded I know you just wanted to know if it was worth it
  14. I bought a few FArt flavours and thought I would post my experiences with them. First just so you know I had up until getting the FArt flavors only used Lorann which I love BTW. **All of these were tried using Totally Wicked's 54 mg Platinum e-liquid (very good stuff) and a 50/50 PG/VG mix to cut the nic down to ~22mg Apple Pie - Couldn't stand it has a weird aftertaste to it hard to describe but not pleasant and didn't really give me the Apple Pie flavor I was expecting which is odd considering how many posts I saw claiming it was the best Strawberry - Haven't really tried this one on its own but I LOVE it in the strawberry cheesecake mix I make I use 10% strawberry and 20% Lorann Cheesecake and it comes out great with just enough of a strawberry flavor which most likely means 10% would make it taste right for me all on its own Cherry - Once again I use this in a mix Cherry Bubblegum 10% FArt Cherry/ 20% Lorann Cheesecake and it is very good as well so it seems like its at least twice as strong as the Lorann flavors because the cherry matches the Bubblegum.. Cola - One word HORRIBLE! Took me all night to get the flavor out of my atty Turk/USA - This one was really good with a very authentic flavor and very strong only took about 1-2% to get the right amount of flavor Rose - This one has an interesting flavor which I kind of enjoy and it took about 10% to get enough flavor. I liked this one but I prefer more fruity flavors. These are just my opinions and everyone has different tastes. Hope it helps. So from my experiments with FArts flavors I would say the more fruity flavors seem to take around ~10-15% and the tobacco flavors 1-2% possibly less than 1% for some people that don't need as much flavor. IMHO
  15. Today I am mostly vaping Lorann Cotton Candy and a Strawberry cheesecake mix I make 10% Flavourart Strawberry / 20% Lorann Cheesecake which I love.
