Hi Niki and welcome to the forum as well. My first e-cig is the KR808D model like you have. I was experiencing the same problem as you at first. I still use them occasionally due to size convienence etc.. So this is what I do to get it to put out vapor: Like Chris said I take a long slow 4 second draw off it... Immediately followed by some short puffs. Then another long draw... I repeat this process a couple of times, especially with a brand new cartomizer.. It sounds crazy, but you have to get the thing hot.The next couple of hits you take should get better and better. Not sure why, but when the cartomizer gets hot, it's really the only time that these models seem to put out enough vapor. Like everyone else, I moved on to the 510, and the other models like the 801, and 901. All of these are excellent models. Hope this helps you out!

Solid advice Brother.. I will utilize the wisdom and reminders in my own hopes for my family to quit smoking. I am a blessed man in that my wife has encouraged me greatly with vaping. She has been nothing but supportive, and encouraging. I as well have been on a quest to get the best vape, and have been spending a lot lately on my toys, but my wife just said to me earlier " I sure am glad you're not smoking honey, and I'm glad that you have the tools to keep you quit". That's all I could ask for....

When I got home, there was my VP2 waiting for me! So I just fired it up, and the only suitable thing to say is Holy **** this thing rips!! I heat sinked in the atty and gave it about 15 light puffs before I took a real draw, but that first good draw hit me with a BAM! This VP is putting out at least 50% more vapor than my 510 ever has, even with a full cart and a good drip. And I agree with you all, this is built like a freakin Panzer tank man, has a good balanced feel in my hand, and the button feels solid. Sure am thankful for Vaportalk and all of you who posted on this beauty.. Gonna try my 510 atty on it here in a bit, and will post how it's hitting on a month old 510 atty, and on a new one. Freakin happy vaping tonight!

I just got onto vaping, and after a week introduced it to my Mom and my brother. My brother liked the idea, let him try out my 510 and he said "hey, I think this will happen". I asked him if he thought our mom would be down with it, and he wasn't sure as she's getting older and doesn't like electronics etc., but he said it's worth a try. So I bought them both 510 starter kits with with all the extra's. So far my bro has been vaping away. Mom however is back and forth between the analogs. I have spent a lot of time with her, showing her the tricks, dripping, when to charge, filling carts etc. and she has been coming around more and more. I have tried to just lay off and take a kick back attitude toward her about it. My plan is just to be patient and be there for support and technical help, order supplies and deal with that stuff for her, and hope she drops the analogs entirely. I will just have to be patient, and not badger her over the matter and I think that will win the day.

I ordered up a VP2 last Wednesday. The USPS tracking has been down over the weekend, so I thought I wouldn't have it until Wednesday or Thursday.. But low and behold, the tracking system just came up and said it is out for delivery! Man I'm stoked! Can't wait to get it vaping!! I will post how it's performing here in a day or two. I've been using my 510 for about 4 weeks straight, and am looking forward to seeing what the VP2 can do. I ordered up one with the Blue Led. I forgot to order an adapter, and emailed them. Mary over there emailed me back in 5 minutes with a status, and they threw in an adapter for free! The absolute best customer service I have encountered yet, and they do care about your success with vaping. I have nothing but praise for Vaprlife.

Hey thanks for the review! I had just stumbled on to the Protege this morning and checked it out. So now my dilemma begins... I was set on getting the VP1 since there has been nothing but praise for it, and his product/service. Has anyone tried both of them and compared them yet? It's a bit of an investment for me at this time, and I want to make sure I get the right gear from the start. Currently I'm using the 510, but as everyone knows the batt life is killing me! Vapor from it rocks, but this battery dying/dead deal is not cool anymore. Anyways, thanks for any input.

I dropped off for a day here. Work has been freaking killing me! Like you, I blew a fuse in my head only though yesterday dealing with boneheads here.. Anyways, I went ahead and ordered up the 23 yesterday, so I should have it here by Friday. Looking forward to it.. I've been stuck with vanilla, which ain't terrible, but it's a bit too much for all day, more like a desert vape. My brother just showed up yesterday with some Watermelon, although I don't usually like the berry stuff, this one was actually pretty good. It was pretty mello, although I can't see vaping it all day. So far today is going the same as yesterday, so I have been vaping the vanilla, which is much better now that I cut it with the VG. It's more mellow, but I can't wait till Friday to get my 23.

You know I agree with you on the direct dripping. I was using the carts and getting nowhere but frustrated. Just started dripping this morning with the new mix I made that Easy got me going with, and man dripping is the only way to go. I'm waiting on a paycheck here, and I'm gonna get some of the Vapor Talk juice, as you are the 4th person who really diggs it. The juice I got with my original order is not a good vapor producer and the taste is not all that abundant; it kinda falls off after the first couple of vapes. Hey, what does that "23" taste like? Would it be a good all day vaping juice? I'm looking to get something on the smooth side to go most of the day with.

Easy - thank you brother for the VG tip! Man, what a difference, and dripping with this mix is incredible!! I do like the mix you suggested 70/30 - it's sweet but not too sweet, and it cuts my juice down a bit which is nice as I bought 24mg and vaping a bunch on this I was getting a bit too much. Again, thank you brother for your help. Now I'm happily vaping.

My brother ordered up the blu cigs and his only issue has been with the ship time. It took 6 days from the time the credit card posted, so hang in there! So far they have performed decently for him. They don't provide a super amount of vapor with the stock carts until you get them primed, but after that they do seem to produce an adequate amount of vapor. We also tested refilling the carts, and that works very good, giving more vapor than the stock carts give.

Yeah the Marlboro flavored carts that came with my 510 rip! Do you have a good source to obtain the VG from? I heard about it and found only 1 site, but they are out for who knows how long..

Right on thanks much for the help! I do think the juice I got kinda sucks to be honest.. The stock carts that came with juice produced more vapor than my refills! I will definetly try pulling out the fiber and filling method. Good vaping to you all, and thanks for your help.

I just started vaping, and thanks to this forum started off with a 510. So far, I have filled my cartridges about 2x's each, but noticed that I can only get about 4 drops of liquid in before they are full to the brim. The first couple of vapes come with good vapor, but after that it is dropping off to almost nothing. Do I need to get new wadding or fiber for the cartridges? Or do I need to drip some on the attomizer first? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Hawk
