Holding it straight does help, as gravity is a wonderful thing. Nemisis, you have an AWESOME attitude, there is NO doubt in my mind youre gonna succeed and be a regular here on VT. Word of advice, this forum is MORE addicting than analogs or e cigs !

Get used to a TON of different sensations your first few weeks of vaping. Not only is your body experiencing them, believe it or not, your MIND is as well. You have to remember, youre trading ONE habit for another. Although they resemble each other in many aspects, theyre different in many more. Your taste this week is going to be COMLPLETELY different next week, and the week after that, its gonna change again, all for the better. Instead of reaching for a lighter, youre gonna reach for a bottle of juice. The way you inhale a cigarette, is different from how you vape. And you have to almost subconciously remember those subtle changes in your way of treating your old habits. When I got my first bottle of 555 from awesomevapor, I thought it tasted like old sweaty sock. Now, its my favorite vape. I CANT get enough of it. My first week of vaping was GREAT, the next, not so much. I was used to 35 years of light, inhale, repeat. This drip, vape, repeat was what I had to remember was the trade off. The flavors kept changing. Love it, hate it, love it, like it. It was like a roller coaster before it finally evened out. The support I found here on VT and the instant realization that vaping was WAY better for me kept me going. You keep going too. We're here for ya !

You may also be having double symptoms. By this i mean, while you are having the usual symptoms of someone whose quit analogs, at the same time you MAY actually have a slight cold or allergies. The sore throat is a common vape sympton, and I read somewhere that gargling with mothwash right before bed lessens this. I do it and it seems to work. My first vape in the morning kicks me in the lung as well. it has gotten a little better over time, but I attribute it to my lungs being used to ONE rude wake up call for 30 years, and now having something NEW wake them up.

I just CANT get that organized. I tried SO FRIGGIN HARD to keep one atty, one cart, one batt and by the end of the day my desk looks like someone threw a grenade on it.

They absolutely are too good to be true. And wait till your tastebuds wake up after the tobacco damage goes away. The flavor just EXPLODES with e cigs.

If I remember correctly, thats what Chris told me, something about the original Chinese instructions just never got changed.

I tried that, but the caps I get are squishy rubber like, and even a sharpie wipes off almost immediatly. Thats why I decided to but some blank white carts, theyre cheap enough and mark easier than black.

I always like to err on the side of caution, so it wouldnt hurt to charge it after 20 minutes. But, you do know, thats a ONE time thing. You DONT have to do 20 minutes EVERY time you charge it. Just use till fully drained after that

The 20 minute thing is this Smoke ( I dont know if you have a 510 ) but the instructions say, AFTER the FIRST 8 hour charge, to use the 510 for 20 minutes, then immediatly charge again till green. What is the purpose, if any, for that ?

Happens to me all the time ( well, not ALL the time ). You would have to ingest a fairly large amount for it to be harmful. Just a little on your lips is not cause for concern as long as you wipe it off. I dont mean to come across lightly here, as it ISNT good on a regular basis, but just alittle now and then is no cause for alarm. Tastes NASTY though, doesnt it.

I do remember being told that nicotene will affect your sugar level. its been 2 and a half years since I was diagnosed, and I TOTALLY forgot about that. Nicotene is probably the culprit, NOT VG or PG. Definitly worth checking in to with your Doc.

LOL ! I have the SAME friggin problem ! Im just not smart enuff to figure this one out, but, I just bought different colored carts to make it easier, RY4 goes in the whithe cart, 555 goes in the black, and I have a little cup for Camel so if the cart is in there I know what it is. If someone has a better idea, LET ME KNOW !

Well, Smokingman is usually NEVER wrong, and I will NEVER EVER say that out loud again. But, he really does know his stuff, so I wouldnt doubt his advice. I have heard from other people the 8 hour thing is bogus, so, Im probably gonna ignore it from now on as well. Chris even told me once it didnt matter.

As far a keg o' juice, as I was interested in at first, I think youll find like I did, this stuff REALLY last a long time. Also, totally wicked, I believe, is located in the U.K., so you may have a customs problem. I DONT want to give a supplier a bad ref here, just something to think about. As for buying large quantity, i.e. five 10ml bottles intstead of 1 50, most suppliers will throw you a bone when you order that way. I know if you CALL wordupecig.com and talk to Jeff, hes usually pretty good about that, as is Arno. Im sure MOST of them do, I just know they do because Ive used them. AND , theyre in the U.S., which is a good thing. There ARE ways to make it last longer with mixing your own, but thats not my area of expertise. There are some videos here on VT that may help you with that. ALSO, VaporTalk just opened its store with some awesome juice you might try. Another flavor I keep forgetting to order is grape, people RAVE about it big time.

So then, the green light on the FIRST charge is ok to go by ? What aboth the 20 minute deal, whats that about.

I just tried to say that fast five times and tripped over my tounge, BUT, repeating it made it make sense to me. So Smokingman, Im not being a smart a** here, if any one would know you would, why DO they tell you to charge it for 8 hours. Again, Im asking out of ignorance, not arrogance. What, me arrogant.

As for the 20 minutes, yes I did that, followed the instructions and for me, seems to work good. As for AFTER that, when you get to using it on a regular basis, I ALWAYS wait till the LED blinks, indicating that the batt is drained, then throw it on the charger till the light turns green. Usually about an hour to an hour and a half. At first, I would CONSTANTLY watch and take it off as soon as the light changed, but thats not necessary. You can leave it on till you get around to it. Thats just what I do.

One part of the question I forgot to answer, flavors. I dont try to mix my own, just not my style. Some people do and it works out well for them, i guess Im just too lazy. What ive found that gives me more bang for my buck, when times are tight, Arno at Awesomevapor.com gives a free sample bottle with every purchase. Free is my favorite price. And that was how I got the courage to try my first non-traditional tobacco flavor ( I ALWAYS got either Marlboro or Camel), so I tried his 555. WOW, was it good. So I tried someone elses 555 AND RY4. HOLY CATS ! The floodgates opened, I was in a new universe ! I havent used my Marlboro or Camel juice since. I STILL have 3 bottles of Marlboro I havent touched. I have tried some cola and pepsi liquid, and theyre ok, not something Id vape on a daily basis. Ive also tried Vanilla, got that one for my wife, and again, ok, not my fav. But, its all personal. Im dying to try peanut butter ( Im a PB fiend), coconut, and apple. Long story short, vaping is like an ongoing buffet at Golden Corral, it just keeps gettin better !

Just a footnote, I have had SEVERAL discussions with my son about cell phone batts. I ALWAYS charge a new batt overnight, he NEVER does, maybe an hour or so for the first charge. Well. MY cell phone can go for 3 days before it needs a charge, while he sometimes gets about 5 hours. We both use them equal time pretty much, but mine last longer. The little stubborn Irish mic REFUSES to admit Im right about the charge time, and i tell him the proof is in the pudding. Now, Im no tech genius, and I have NO idea if e cig batts or cell phone batts are the same, I just know the results I get over his results. Im the type of person that when I get something, I read the instructions, and follow them to a "T". More often than not, it works out well for me.

I use PG and do not use insulin. I take Metaformin to control my sugar.Have you talked to the Doc about her vaping ? My Doctor was for it 100 %, which surprised me. Of course, its a no brainer over analogs.

I have heard people say it DOESNT take 8 hours for the first charge, but Im anal about things like that, and DO charge the full 8 hours, and am still getting 3-5 hours out of my original 510 batts. Maybe luck, maybe not, I dont know. But Ive heard people complain that they only get 1-1/2 to 3 hours after a couple of weeks. As for leaving it in the charger after the light turns green, I leave mine on overnight and have had no problems.
