Question About Bloog Cartomizers?

Corrodie

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm new to vaping, just received my and my mothers Bloog MaxxFusion [And a trifecta] today.

I'm already in love. Although I think I need to up the nicotine on mine though, as the flavors are a bit bland. But already I find lighting a cigarette displeasing.

Probably because of the flavor left from the vapor, but, if it stays like this? Perfect.

Both me and my mother would like to try e-juices though, and since I need another charger, it'd be nice to order everything in the same day, but Bloog is out of empty cartomizers for the MaxxFusion--And they don't know when they will be getting more.

I was wondering, do the Fusion empty carts work with Maxxfusion batteries?

Or, does anyone know if there are other carts that'll work?

If other carts do work, is there a brand with a bit of grip? I ordered the extended batteries rather than the minis, and the weight from the battery vs. the smooth cart makes it a bit difficult to hold like a normal cigarette. Which, I guess isn't a problem. I'm getting used to holding them a bit different, but the more authentic feel, the better. This is why I went with Bloog, after all.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Corrodie, I live in PA too. Where do you live in PA? There is a VapeFest this weekend in Philly. Sorry, this is the first time I am hearing about the Bloog MaxxFusion. Give me a few minutes to check them out and see if I can help you.

Oh, welcome to the forum!

Hey Sharon, I live in Reading. Depending on what area maybe thirty minutes to two hours from Philly. Where at? Doubt I'll be able to go, but if it's at the Convention center or something that's pretty close, I could see. My mother's quite interested. haha.

And alright, thanks!

Well Corrodie I looked for the information regarding the cartomizers and there doesn't appear to be any.

I am using the Joye eGo e-cig and a lot of the other folks here use them too. I hate to be the one to tell you, but I think and e-cigs that you and your mother purchased are similar to the non-descriptive e-cigs that have a battery that will only last you a couple of hours between charges. On the web site they say that one cartridge will last the same as 1 pack of cigarettes. NOT! I can't find where they say how long a cartomizer will last. Strange, they sell empty cartomizers, but they don't sell the e-liquid!!!

Currently VT Store are out of the eGo starter kits, but Liberty-Flights.com have them for $52. They also have the RiVa, which is another brand that is very similar to the Joye Ego for $34.39. Both the eGo and the Riva have the 510 connection and you can buy Atomizers,Cartridges and Cartomizer anywhere that sells the 510. Both units have manual batteries (you press the button to vape) which are sealed and you don't have to worry about juice getting in the battery and killing it.

Other members will be along to tell you their experiences and opinions with e-cigs.

Anyway, welcome again and I hope this forum can help you out.

Check out the web site www.vapefest.com. All the information is there and I am going tomorrow. They also have a web cam setup and you can watch whats going on there today.

Welcome to vapor talk. I think that you can get a KR808 carto to fit your maxxfusion. I don't know who sells these attys but look at the list of suppliers on the forum and see if they have them. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Check Good Prophets they might have the cartos.

I couldn't find any. What made the fusion/maxx question pop up is the fact they claim the Maxx carts work with fusion batts. To me it only seems logical it'd work the other way around, too. But before spending the money I'd like to be sure. I was thinking about contacting GrimmGreen on Youtube since he owns one, and seems to like mixing and matching, he may know. But I figured starting here may be best.

I heard a lot about the eGos. Just, I wanted something that felt more like a real cigarette, and I'd heard good reviews on the Bloog, especially for starters, so it won me over quickly. I know the 510 is a lot like it, but I found it more expensive. [Not starter-kit wise, I found the bloog starters a waste. I bought everything I wanted separately and saved a lot of money.] It's already lasted me four hours though, and still appears fully charged when I test plugging it in. So. I'm pleased.

Yeah, I figure the carts won't be quite as much, but if it even lasts me half of what a real pack does, I'm still saving 30 bucks every month. & That's just me! Not counting my much longer addicted mother. haha.

And the lack of e-juice is a bit strange, but at least they give the option to rather than leaving you stuck using just what they provide.

I'm very impressed, only complaint is the fact it's just going to be a pain if no other empty carts work..they don't seem to restock quickly [The PCCs are a great example of that.] :|

Thank you for the suggestion though, I'll keep it in mind if I decide to change.

Thanks! And I'm sure it will.

Would make sense since the maxx is just a redesigned kr808.

You didn't find any KR808s at Good Prophets? I was sure they had some. Oh well, someone will come along and answer your question shortly. You won't get GrimmGreen this weekend probably he is at the Philly Vapefest. Goodness, you need to go to the Vapefest someone there will probably have just what you need and you can get some great juices and pick up any little item that you think you might need.

hi and welcome to VT. The Maxfusion is a KR808, so VT and many other vendors sell the cartomizers, you can refill them, so just pick up some juice and some blank ones and you should be good to go. Vapornine sells KR stuff and their cartomizers are good. Good luck to you

http://www.shop.goodprophets.com/product.sc?productId=162&categoryId=20

Those generally the same?

That's what they have other than drip-tips.

And it seems the Revolution cartomizers work with kr808s, but I could be wrong. I am a noob after all. haha.

Yeah, I figured he'd be there. Well, it's cool. I don't mind waiting a bit. Just glad I've got some leads through here.

It would be great if the Revolutions work, then I could order some juice and those here at the same time.

Would be fantastic if I could go, but that's a little further in than I could venture myself [New driver, watch out. haha] And my father hates driving up there.

Maybe next time..

I just wanted to add the Bloog Maxfusion is a KR808-1. If you want to use blank cartomizers with it, I would suggest Boge 2.0. The Bloog is a 3.6 ohms regulated device. The cartomizers are a horzontal coil similiar to the Boge so they seem to work the best. I hope that helps some.

Hi Corrodie!

Yes, any other KR808D-1 cartomizers will work on your MaxxFusion batts, including our old FUsion cartos, but none of them will give you comparable performance to a MaxxFusion carto.

Well, I hate to burst your bubble, but our cartos DO last as long as a pack of cigs. Regular King sized cigs typically last between 10-15 puffs each, or 200-300 puffs per pack. Our MaxxFusion cartomizers last 250-300 puffs each. Our manufacturer uses an automated puffing machine to test 5 cartos per hour of production to ensure that each and every batch meets that standard.

I have tried several cartomizers for the KR808, I don't use it much anymore, I actually gave two of my batteries, a charger and lots of cartos and juice to a friend to set her up. I agree that the bloog cartos are the best for this style battery.

This makes me want to get a Bloog and a MaxxFusion carto. Dang it! Thanks for the tips, Leaford!

Sorry Leaford, I couldn't find any information about the connection on their website. Since I wasn't familiar with the brand I really shouldn't have put my 2 cents in, by bad! Having been burnt by none descriptive e-cig web sites in the past, I just assumed it was another one. Won't do that again!!!!
