5 wrap Clapton in a series box

So a friend and I recently began building clapton coils, ive been using 20 gauge kanthal for the core and 28 gauge kanthal for the outer wire. My personal build is 2, 5 wrap (2.5mm ish inner diameter) clapton coils in a mutation x clone on my series box. They work amazingly, but does anyone have tips for building them? And if i were to build a tripple core fused clapton, what gauge wire should i use for the core?
