Storing Electric Cigarette Batteries

What's the best way to store e-batteries if you have a few and you mainly use one or two of the?

Should the others be kept in a refrigerator or freezer?

Should the others be kept fully charged or depleted?

...or combination of both?

Also, how long can you keep an unused disposable electric cigarette battery and still maintain it's viability?
