Dripping Vs Cartridges

I'm getting a Joye 510 next week and wanted to know if there is any way that an atomizer can be damaged by dripping E liquid on it...I would rather not have to use carts which is why i am asking...Any help on this would be appreciated...Thanks

Only if you run too dry too long ,but you can do that with carts.Dripping is just like a freshly refilled cart all the time .If you over drip you will have leakage but it does no damage, just makes a mess.
