  1. I have the subox and im looking to upgrade and i have narrowed it down to these 2 contenders.

Which would you pick and why?

Whatever mod i get will be accompanied by a triton tank and i also plan on getting an RBA in the near future.

Im legitimitally stuck and dont know which to choose.

    Thanks for any advice.

  2. So there are a decent amount of local competitions in South FL where i reside, and i would like to start getting into them. Right now, i only have a box mod.

I need someone to find me a set up that is gonna help me win competitions. (I know ill need to practice, but i want a good setup to help me get into the groove of it.)

So, can someone tell me what setup or an example to use to help me shop for one?
  3. So i just made my first RBA. Its a single coil, some japanese cotton, nothing fancy. Im using the pre-set deck that came with the Kanger Subox Kit and when i use it, it crackles A LOT.

    Is that normal?

Other than that its fine, flavor is pretty good and it produces a good amount of vape. It just crackles and makes a lot of sound. Is that normal?

Also, i see vapor coming out of the airflow section and the bottom of the tank...is this bad? Im new so i feel really dumb for not knowing. Any help is really appreciated.

PS. Im vaping on 25w and its reading it at .5 olms
  4. The simple answer, yes, you can... But...

if the flavors are similar or complimentary, you can just dump the tank and refill... vape... and you'll get a mix of the flavors for the first few hits before the new flavor takes over.

If they are drastically different, you can rinse the coil (and must clean the tank too), or soak the coil overnight in Vodka, then air-dry it for a few hours.  It will remove the old flavor and freshen the coil.

When you say rinse do you just mean run it under a stream if water for a couple minutes? Also, does it matter if it's flavored vodka? Lol. All I have is Coconut Vodka. Thanks for the help!

  5. I just got a kangertech subox mini and i put some HAUS watermelon e-liquid into the tank/coil.

Well, my mom just got me a new flavor and i was wondering if i could use it although i already put watermelon in the coil?

Im still fairly new to vaping, so sorry if this is a really obvious thing to know and i dont know it. Haha, i just dont wanna mess up my coils.

  6. I just got my Kanger Subox Mini and now i need some batteries.

What is the BEST 18650 battery to compliment my Subox mini?

Ive seen batteries with higher mAh cost less than batteries with lower mAh and im confused as to why. Could someone explain?

This is my first box mod, so im a newbie. Thanks for all and any replies!

The price isn't an issue either. I just want the best battery available so that it doesn't die it the middle of the day and it keeps consistent performance throughout the battery life.

  7. So, would it be better to have an iStick or a Subox Mini?

If i get the Kanger, ill only get one 3100mAh battery to compliment it. I would charge it within the box mod.

If  i get the iStick, i would probably get the tank that everyones been recommending to me, which is the Aspire Nautilus.

I dont know which one to get.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME MAKE THIS DECISION.
  8. Nothing wrong with the subbox mini kit... but for the same money, you could pick up an iStick 50W and a couple of quality tanks like the Kanger ProTank2, Kanger AeroTank V2, or Aspire Davide tanks.  The subtank will work with "normal" Ohm cols... 1.5 Ohm, and will allow you to build your own on the RBA deck, but these are for more advanced users, not really the best option, IMO, for someone starting out.  An iStick 50W will give you HUGE battery life, and allow you to grow into higher Wattage tanks and sub-ohming (which is NOT for everyone, nor is it an expected progression for vapers).  The Kanger and Davide tanks will allow you to use factory coils from 0.8-2.5 Ohm (wide range), and they produce great flavor (my preference is the Aerotanks using 1.5 or 1.8 Ohm coils).  The goal is to stay away from smoking, and an iStick paired with a good, rugged tank will keep you going for years.  No need to jump into sub-ohming, rechargeable batteries, rebuildables, etc. just because the kit is "affordable", and a "kit" :)   If purchased online, $75 will get you an iStick, two tanks, and a box of coils... and probably a few bucks left over for the important part... JUICE!

Thanks for your help. I greatly appreciate it. With the iStick will i have to deal with cotton and all of that stuff? I think im gonna get the iStick, just because i cant go over budget and if i get the Kangar i didnt realize id need to buy batteries and stuff. How do you know when to replace a coil and what is the difference between them? Is there anywhere i can buy a iStick kit that includes everything or do i need to get everything individual?

Also, i have juices already, so no need to worry about that. But i heard you want to go down on the nicotine levels if you get a box mod? Why is that? Im used to 16 right now.

  9. Ive vaped before, but its only been on a ****ty Mini BCC. It was a Pink Spot Mini BCC and it broke...

So now im looking to get an upgrade.

The only thing is...i have no idea what im doing.

So i need your help. Can someone find me a good build for under $75? I know $75 isnt a lot of money to work with, but ive seen a couple that im interested in.

I was looking at buying a Kanger SUBOX Mini or an iJUST 2. Which one should i get, or please give me some ideas for better ones you have in mind.

P.S. Im going through vape withdrawals. So dont recommend one that will break with it just simply just being in your pocket, like my Mini BCC did.

    Thanks!
