  1. As one new to vaping, I would recommend this:

    1. Use the vendors listed on this site. This is critical. I have ordered from almost (-2) all of them and you will get great customer service and timely delivery.

    2. The sampler packs are a great way to go. You pick the samples, some you'll love, others not so much. But, you're only out 5ml, but informed.

I would concentrate on an all day vape flavor first before searching for the "just for giggles" flavors. JMO. Best regards.

Just my two cents worth. RY4 is worth a try. Additionally, caramel, cream, cappucino, and I cant wait to order some Sweet Caroline. Dulcis is a very, very popular vape around this site. Sounds killer. Obviously, I'm not a fruity flavor guy.

  2. Just thought I would post some thoughts on probably the least expensive accessory one can purchase for vaping,

the drip tip. I bought one from Clouds of Vapor that is made of a black, nylon type plastic. First, I have yet to ever draw any liquid into my mouth when inhaling. This can happen quite frequently with regular 510 carts. Second, the drip tip material does not heat up from the energy produced by the atomizer. Third, it fits comfortably in the mouth. I like this. Lastly, reloading juice is quick, with no fumbling around. I like this thing, and it enhances my experience for very little pocket money. ($1.99-$2.99) It is a recommended addition from this poster.

  3. A Longhorn, Red Raider and an Aggie are crossing the desert. Each is packing one item to help them with their treacherous journey. The RR asks the Longhorn, "what are you bringing?" The LH replies, "A canteen of water to keep me from dehydrating." The LH asks the RR, "What are you bringing?" The RR replies, " A camel to help speed my travel." Both the LH and the RR turn to the Aggie and ask, "What are you bringing?" The Aggie replies, "The door to my pickup truck." Perplexed they ask, "Why?" The Aggie answers," So when it gets hot, I can roll down the window."

  4. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with an eGo. Totally Wicked has the exact same thing... only they sell it as the Tornado. I have it and I love it. You might just check who has the best deal. Do yourself a favor and grab up a few Low Res atomizers while your at it... they are a wonderfull combo to the eGo/Tornado.

Agreed. Get the most out of your new eGo with a low res atomizer. The difference is amazing.

  5. Couldn't agree more... I'm currently using a 1000mah battery on one for the first time today as well.

I'm at hour 8 of HEAVY vaping... not bad knowing that a LR atty draws more !

I'm gonna do the same thing next week. I was thrilled w/the 1000. You like it I guess?

Do you use the same eGo charger for the 1000? Thanks.

  6. As per the recommendation of my vaportalk friends, I got a LR atomizer to use

with my eGo. What an experience. If you haven't started using LR's w/this

unit, you are truly missing out. Great flavor, Great vapor, actually amazing.

  7. The eGo batts will not work with the charger that came with your 510 kit unless you get an adapter. I would recommend just getting a 510 USB charger. The USB charger works with the eGo batts.

The cone on the eGo provides a tighter draw. It also looks cool. :)

I disagree. The cone is strictly an asthetic piece. No advantages to vaping. It's a pain, especially if you

direct drip. I don't use it.

  8. Well the lower the resistance the faster it heats up. Low res is short for low resistance. A normal 510 atomizer runs at 2.5 ohms and Low Res runs at 1.5.

In other words it turns your eGo in to a 5 volt style unit at the cost of $10 rather than $169. :)

That's simple. I just ordered 5 LR 510's. Great forum!!!!

  9. OK straight forward question.

I use a Joye eGo. Does a LR 510 work for this device and what would be the advantages

of using a LR 510 with my unit. Or will it even work. I love the eGo. Just trying to

get past the learning curve. I am not an electrical guy so such jargon (i.e. voltage, amps, joules, etc) is meaningless to me. Thanks guys.

    John

  10. Cool thanks Sean and nana......

I vape VG menthol. I like it much better than PG. The amount of vapor produced in VG liquid is

pretty impressive. Others comment that you sacrifice taste. I disagree. The taste is accentuated

when exhaled out the nose. IMO. Additionally, it is easier to control when direct dripping as it is

thicker. I do not "drown" my atty near as often. I vape a 18 strength from WetYourStick. I really like it and

it surprisingly affords a decent throat hit for a pure VG liquid. Good luck to you.

    Vape on.

  11. well im pretty glad i read this! cause ive been wondering about all of this and i guess 50/50 mix is the best way to go! thanks!

I've done PG then "went out of the box" on did 100% VG. Loved the flavor, throat hit and vapor. Real thick. From Wet Your Stick BTW. I would try a 50/50 though w/ great flavor.

  12. I got the same kit a couple of months ago. I also ordered 100mg pg from electronicstix. I enjoy mixing my own but really haven't done alot since I first got the kit. I did make some wonderful tangerine flavor though.

What is the savings if you mix your own??? Just curious, thanks.

  13. You'll love the Ego!!! Haven't heard any complaints about it. 8 to 10 hour battery life. I use mine everyday at work and I'm on the road all day. I love it!!

Your comments are very encouraging. I can't wait to get it. Any tips or tricks I should be

    aware of?

  14. The ego should be standard with a 510. You can always get an adapter to go to 901, kr808. Where did you order it from?

got it from VaporPro w/10% off coupon code. I'm really looking forward to it as I am

seriously tired of switching batteries all freakin day long.

  15. Enjoying the forum

I have recently diverged from my "standard supplier" and started trying some

    other companies Menthol flavored EJuice.

I like a good strong menthol flavor (It's my regular vape) Smoked menthol for 23 years.

Can I get some recommendations from members on a solid Menthol ejuice?

I got a Benson/Hedges Menthol (from a new supplier) today that, while it produces vapor, is lacking for me in

    the flavor department.

    Your contributions are appreciated.

  16. While trying to work out a malfunction w/a Mod, Awesome Vapor (Arno, of course) dropped a few samples in

the mail to me of new flavors. About 8 in all. Look for these soon...Blueberry, Hawaain Punch, Carmel (unreal!!)

Cinammon.. and others. Their customer service is great and I will be getting more Caramel. It is awesome. Looking forward to mixing it w/a little VG (18 strength). Be on the lookout.

  17. I have a flav I really like. Cream from Arno. Do you have a different

atty for every flav you vape? Just wondering? I believe the benefits of vaping

are multiple flavors. Is it me, or do you have an atty for every flavor?

  18. I have a DSE901 screwdriver type battery. It is to run on a 3.7V/900mAh battery.

Is there any other kind of lithium rechargable battery that could be used? Without

of course, harming the device. Any feedback or experience is appreciated. To be more

specific it is the one Arno sells.

  19. Hi jgray,

Does the light blink after a couple of hits with both batts? I used to have a DSE905, which is a Screwdriver copy, and it came with a bad batt that did the same thing you are describing.

Arno (awesomevapor) is recalling all DSE905 batteries and chargers due to defect(check the site). Of course, he is replacing at no cost to me. He's a great vendor. I'm gonna see if I can buy some around town today for the meantime.
