  1. It Works! WooHoo! Thank you both so much! I knew I came to the right place. I know I had read that somewhere on here before but for the life of me I couldn't remember that bit of info. It was NOT on the instructions manual. It mentioned the 5 sec lock feature but not turn on or off. Something I noticed within the first few puffs was less vapor than my 808 carts. The juice I'm using is 100% PG unfortunately as this is all I have available atm. It does produce a much cleaner hit it seems. No carto taste. That I like. I guess the amount of vapor isn't a big deal as long as it delivers the nicotine. What works best with clearo's? Again Thank You, You just saved me a lot of hassle and disappointment. I am in your debt.
  2. I just got a new eGo-T CE4/5 and have a problem. The battery charger appears to be working but I get nothing once the batteries are removed from it. Here's what I did. Read directions > inserted battery gently into charger> red led comes on at wall transformer, blue led on battery flashes 3 times or so, red led comes on on usb portion of charger. The usb red led flashes green once every 5 seconds or so. After several hrs the red led on usb turns green and the blue led/switch on battery goes out on one batt, stays on on the other until I remove it from power and then the usb adapter. Then it goes out. Once I remove batteries from charger the blue led/switch does nothing. It wont light up when pressed on or off clearomizer. No vape, no sizzle, no nothing. I've tried small adjustments to the center pin in the battery but still nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Or did I get some duds. These are 900mah and have the eGo-t logo near base. Came in a sunglasses like hard case with 2 batts, 2 clearo's, wall adpater/usb charger, refill bottle, lanyard and it has an eGo sticker on case. This is my first of this style so I dont have any spare parts to swap to troubleshoot. Tried every combination with what I have. Any ideas?
  3. Ah I still got it wrong lol. It is "e-cig.com" I am referring to. Thaks again jeffb, foster
  4. I guess I should have said "e-cigs.com" to be exact. Thanks though jeffb. Wasnt exactly sure of policy on non-sponsor/vendor links and whatnot.
  5. After quite a bit of reading I have found only a few references and no real reviews for this site. Seems they used to be from China only, but from what their page says they now have U.S.A made products from Cali. Prices seem good on flavors,DIY stuff, like the 99.9% pure nic offered. Many flavors, strengths, PG, VG, etc. Even a calculator to help determine your needs. ( Which I still have not figured out how to use exactly lol). So has anyone any experience with this outfit? Good or bad? thanks,F
  6. Thanks to all of you for your advise/ input. I will be checking out all the info you have mentioned. Still a bit overwhelmed by the sheer amount of info and products available. Gonna take a while to read and sort through the forum. Pretty active site! I like that. As all of you are, I am looking for the most bang for the buck when it comes to vaping. I don't mind spending a bit of cash to get a quality product. Ain't scared of doing a bit of work to maintain, rebuild, clean and keep my unit up and running. thanks again for the welcome friends, I better get to reading.
  7. High, Yes I am Foster. I am a new member, but I've been reading a bit here and there for a month or so. I am proud to say I no longer use chewing tobacco or smoke cigs! Being that I have been addicted to both for well over 20 yrs, That is a huge step in the right direction for me. Probably tried to quit both over a hundred times using meds, patches, gum, lozenges and any other form of nic I could find. Nothing took. Now... I vape. And I love it! Strange, but within less than a month, just the smell of real cigs bothers me and smoking one or being in an enclosed area with smokers brings on an instant headache. I started using the disposable type e-cigs (blu,njoy,greenspirit,cig2O etc..) but found that I was killing batteries or getting duds half the time. Some with dead batts right from the first puff. Being an electronics tech, I couldn't help but dismantle every one to see just what was going on inside. lol What I was finding was dead batteries with plenty of e-liquid still in the filler material. That's when I realized... There has to be a better way to go. Disposables at $10 a piece were sucking my wallet dry and not able to fullfill my need for nicotine. I currently use a Cig2O kit. I have 2 batteries with usb chargers and one wall charger that broke the first time I used it. It left the prongs in the socket it was plugged in when I removed it from the outlet. Junk! After some reading I believe theses cartomizers are the 808's? I need to find a good source for quality blanks. I have been re-filling my old carto's with an e-liquid purchased locally for $10. 12ml-16mg by Imperial Hookah. I would like to DIY or find a better supplier for e-liquid too. Vanilla is my fave so far. Any suggestions, links, tips, reviews of what you like and don't like (brands/cartos/liquid/batts/etc..) would be appreciated.
