  1. Thanks Chris, wasn't sure if there were others out there or not. Just more info for the noodle wagon :)

I think they changed their design on their attys, the new design has a small washer surrounding the bridge, the old design did not, many like the old design better, I really don't notice that much of a difference. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  2. I was thinking how when I was smoking I didn't even think about spending $75-$100 a week on analogs. I know some of you smoked even more. But a reoccuring subject from noobies and veterens alike is where can I get the best deal. :) Who is selling stuff the cheapest. Now I'm not knocking those that look for the best price. I do it also. But what changed? When I needed a pack or carton of smokes I just went to the local liquor store and bought my Marlboro Lights. Honestly I didn't go to all the liquor stores in town and look for a deal. Heck I even bought packs at the grocery store even though they were $1 more than the liquor store. So what do you all think? Why have we become so thrifty?

Could be the fun of shopping on line, looking for the best deal is normal. Plus you are looking for something that will last a bit longer than the analog you smoked and tossed out.

  3. This is timely as I'm not very good at rotating attys and tend to get that nasty taste once in a while too. I'll try the flush trick when that happens, thanks McQuinn.

Try boiling it out in distilled water, then let it dry completely. I've had the same trouble with some juice that contained oils and this solved it.

  4. Arno and his family are great to deal with. I'm positive they are as honest as the day is long. I just sent him back an atty for an 801 that I bought as an extra that was doa, I think it was a knockoff, the 801 I bought from him was the real deal and works great, so was the 901 and the 510, all good and not knockoffs. I'll buy from them again, the 801's he sells are vaping monsters.

  5. Well I just made my first juice using 60% vg to 40% pg, used the tasty puff juicy fruit flavoring. Huge plumes of vapor with the juicy fruit gum flavor. I didn't cut the vg with distilled water, the pg thinned it out some, it was still somewhat thick but I'm loving the vapor production and taste.

  6. Has anyone used the flavourart flavorings? I've heard they are very tasty and only 1 or 2 drops will be enough to flavor 3ml of liquid. I bought some and am waiting for delivery. Coupon code for 15% off "vapehappy"

  7. WOW...sounds like you were serious about getting those atty's clean.

I've read about using the Crest mouthwash before but haven't tried it.

Also don't know if I would have gone to all the trouble to wash out the tea bag, most people would have just tossed it and gotten a new one. Very frugal.

Glad it worked out and keep us informed how it goes after a day or two.

    Good luck and happy vaping.

Well it didn't take that long to do really. The only reason I did a second boil in distilled water was to get rid of any minty taste left over by the mouthwash as I've heard of people complaining about this. I suppose I could have just done the boil one time with distilled water. As far as cleaning the tea bag, it was faster to just clean it like that than to make a new one and it came out just like new so why throw it out. I'm going to try and do this every weekend as a general maintenance thing to see how long I can keep these attys working.Thank you for the replies!

  8. This is my first time cleaning attys. After reading many posts here is what I did. Got a small saucepan out 5" pot. Cleaned it out by boiling tapwater in it and then wiped out with a paper towel. Next I measured 1 cup of distilled water and 1/4 cup of the CPH mouthwash, brought it to a boil. Took the pot off the stove and placed my 510 and 901 atty in the solution (after blowing them out and letting them sit to drain for 10 minutes). Then I got a wood clothespin and grabbed one of the attys and swished it around for 5-10 seconds in the solution, grabbed the other one and did the same, let them sit for a minute or so and repeat the swishing on each atty. Did this for about 15 minutes. Took them out and set on paper towel. Dumped the solution, rinsed out the pot and filled with about one cup (enough to cover the attys) in distilled water. Bring back to a boil and take off the flame put the attys back in and repeat the procedure of swishing the attys around with the clothespin for 15 minutes again. Remove the attys and wait for them to cool off and blow thru the battery end to remove excess water. Set the attys battery side up on a paper towel for 10 minutes. Then I put them in front of a small space heater 5-6" away on their side about for 20 minutes, bridge side toward the heat. They were ready to go after dropping 4 drops of juice on the bridge and a fresh cart. They are working great. I also cleaned the carts in the hot distilled water after rinsing them under hot water in the sink, they came out like new. Also rinsed my PTB out under hot water and then swished it in the hot distilled water with tweezers and it seems as good as new or better. Also no minty taste from the Crest mouthwash in the attys, I don't know if the mouthwash made any difference in cleaning the burnt juice off the attys diluting it the way I did but this stuff is pretty strong and I could smell it easily in the boiling solution. I think that's about it, if I left something out I'll try to edit the post.

    Thanks

  9. Try taking a paper clip and inserting into the little hole and moving the switch, do it gently, but you should be able to feel it going up and down, I had one stick and it wasn't charging although it said it was charged, I was able to free it up with the paper clip and it charged fine then and haven't had a problem since.

  10. I've tried the blue foam and the PTB mods. I think they are both superior to the polyfill. You don't have to top the carts off as often. Personally I like the PTB mod a little better and you get to drink the tea which is quite good when vaping.

  11. I like to add to my juices when they need to be stronger. I get my flavorings at

    https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors-candy-oils.aspx

Their flavors are only 1.40 each and take on a few drops.

Hi, many people use the Loranns flavors but not the oils just the flavorings. From what I've heard many don't want to vape oils.

  12. The wife has some pure vanilla extract from Mexico (best place to buy vanilla from what I've heard). Anyway the ingredients are vanilla beans extractives, alchohol 35%, sugar and water, in that order. The label says Extracto Natural de Vainilla. From a company called Gaya, since 1873.
