  1. Thank you,We understand why you recommend that we do not tamper with or modify your devices

BUT some of us just cannot resist seeing how things are put together (Darwin Awards candidates?).

Yes I am interested in a small cig-a-like with PCC and have been to your site.

At the moment I can't decide between the Henley and a joye eroll/ovale mini.

    hmmmm decisions decisions lol.

Merry Christmas to all and Happy New Year!

Thank you and we hope you had a happy new year!

  2. I got mine today also and like mcquinn I also got nosy lol.

Nice draw and good vapor for it's size. The flavor and TH

were just a bit harsh for me but I'm used to 9mg juice now :)

The batt only lasted for ~1.5 hrs and it stil had half a tank of juice left,

tasted like a coffe flavor to me, so I mixed it in a tank of 555 so I could

    use it all up lol.

It wasn't a bad li'l unit and worked as well or better than my Volts from SI

just didn't last as long.(smaller batt)

This disposable was a one piece tube with the atty built in and a maybe .5 -.8 ml

removeable juice tank. It's about the same size as a king size analog.

Too bad I couldn't get to the batt or leads to recharge it without destroying the tube or I would still

    be using it lol.

I can't see myself paying ~$10(3pack for 29.95 on their site) for something that lasted

less than 2 hrs. but it was a fun little experiment.

Thanks Joe for your comments but we do NOT recommend that you modify the Disposable. The Nic strength may have been a bit high for you if you are used to the 9MG now. If you are looking for a reusable (and cost effective) solution we also have a Kit.

    Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

  3. I got mine today.I was pleasantly surprised.Good vapor, pleasant taste.I got nosey and partially dismantled it.Has a tank type cartridge with lots of liquid so it just might last as long as a pack of analogs. All in all I would say it is a good value for the money in the disposable category.I was able to reinsert the cart and continue using it so a cheapskate could probably refill it and get more use from it until the battery takes a dump. The box was tricky to open ,I ended up using a box cutter.Wasn't marked as to the nic strength just that it was original flavor.

Thank you for the comment mcquinn but we do NOT recommend that you modify the Disposable. If you are looking for a reusable option please check out our Kit. Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

  6. This kind of **** is going to kill the industry. It really urks me when I see articles like this because I know it's a matter of time before mass media picks it up and spins it faster than a dancer on a stripper pole. It's why I recommend units like the Pro Vari or Lava Tube to new users. They're idiot proof. Now, my heart goes out to the vaper that was injured, but here's what I think...

The Prodigy unit is a 3.7 volt unit. It states that the user purchased "batteries" I'm willing to bet he stacked non OEM batteries in order to obtain a higher voltage. (In a device not meant to be used over 3.7v) He wouldn't be the first to try this and it's scary how often this happens. I also wonder if the the vaper was using protected batteries.

If this was indeed the case, well what did you expect. If he was using correct batteries (which somehow I doubt) then the fault lies in the hands of Puresmoker. But I have a sneaking suspicion some battery "stacking" was going on here. If you purchase an $80 mod use fork out the money for the correct $11 batteries. And you do NOT try to stack batteries. Especially if safety measures are not in place.

If you buy a Mercedes requiring premium fuel and pour in some regular to saves a few pennies well...

By the way I wrote up a quick article on the front page here: http://www.vaportalk...are-not-a-joke/

Comments on this would be appreciated. I have a feeling if this story goes mainstream potential new users are going to be reading. It's important people know this is an unusual case.

It was good of you to respond. I just talked to a smoker a few minutes ago and she said that these things are "dangerous"! Wow that news spread fast and it is very unfortunate that people would consider smoking cigs safe and an e-cig dangerous.

Thanks for taking the time Chris.

  7. E-cigarette users report improvements in their health ranging from a reduction in COPD and asthma symptoms to better markers of cardiovascular health such as blood pressure and lipid measures. Researchers have found no increase in blood pressure or heart rate among smokers trying e-cigarettes for the first time.

"What I find most egregious about the ANR's recent press release," stated Keller, "is their claim that e-cigarettes 'pollute indoor air with detectable levels of carcinogens and other toxic chemicals,' when there is absolutely no indication that e-cigarettes pose any appreciable risk to bystanders. Tragically, these kinds of devious tactics may actually prevent smokers from saving their health and their lives by switching to this low-risk alternative."

The Indoor Air study cited in the ANR press release found such minuscule quantities of six chemicals in vapor that they are measured in parts per BILLION (ppb). For example, formaldehyde was present at 12.86 ppb-the equivalent of 13 out of one billion pennies ($10,000,000) The Alberta Ambient Air Quality Objectives for formaldehyde is five times higher.

Researchers could detect nicotine only by capturing exhaled vapor before it mixed with air in the chamber. The quantity measured was a mere 1.04 ppb; the OSHA Short Term Exposure Limit is about 1500 times higher. "But the existence of this nicotine is a moot point," stated Keller, "given the fact that the only way a bystander could be exposed to any nicotine at all would be to lock lips with an e-cigarette user and inhale while the user is exhaling.

"ANR claims little is known about the contents of e-cigarettes," said Keller, "but the major ingredients in e liquid are well-known: propylene glycol or glycerin to create the vapor, water, flavoring, and optionally a low concentration-typically less than 2%-of nicotine. Countless tests have been performed on liquid and vapor. So far none of these tests has ever measured toxins or carcinogens anywhere near hazardous levels. This is probably due to the fact that, unlike conventional cigarettes, e-cigarettes are not combusted.

"Discouraging the use of alternatives that are up to 99% less hazardous than smoking for the users, and that are essentially harmless to bystanders, shows an appalling disregard for human health and life on the part of groups like ANR," said Keller.
