  1. That that sucks, i can say @ times it can be a little tough to get off but I have never had or even tempted to take it off with pliers. The few times I did have somewhat of a issue I would take a thin rag a lay it over the hole and then used the groove with my finger nail. For the most part just putting a rag around the flange does it making sure i am just turning ring and not the cone @ the same time. I don't know maybe take a drop or two of juice and apply to threads before re-assembling

  2. I have had my ego-c for about a month and 1/2 and wondering what ratio people are using in there juices. I have tried 75vg 25 pg which I think may be to thick as taste is inconsistent and having to take a dry draw to get taste. I have always used 50/50 in my ego 510 which was always tasty and tried that in my ego-c (little better) then 75-25 now I have on order some 75pg/25vg hope that does the trick.

    Thanks hoejef

  3. I received my ego-c last week and the biggest problem I had was always getting a inconsistent taste maybe a little burnt and sometimes dry.

I did two things to improve 1- took my atty and cleaned in a cup of hot water(like it say in manual) and let sit a few and then rinsed (repeated). 2- made sure when puncturing that had a good hole in tank and punctured piece was cleared. With the silicone cap I actually pushed a small screw driver into it to oversize hole.

So that being said even increasing the hole size I still have no leaks not a drop.
