  1. I received an E5 error message while scrolling through the menu of my new Semovar. It flashes only periodically, although has happened more than once. Having read the instructions, I've come to understand this has something to do with the battery not being able to supply the necessary output for the load. I find this strange, however as my battery indicator showed 75% remaining power and I was vaping a 1.6 ohm coil on only 3.9 volts (Kayfun lite plus v2). There have been instances where I have vaped 10 Watts on a 2 ohm coil with 25% battery remaining and not gotten this error. I was using an Efest 3.5 2000 mHa lithium high drain IMR battery. I have just switched to a freshly charged Samsung 2600 mHa high drain IMR Lithium battery, and have yet to see the error message. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you. And now strangely enough the Samsung only shows 75% full right off the charger. Strange.
  2. So I bought a Tobeco DNA 30 basically so I could have a regulated device to make a sub ohm coil and tried it out with my kayfun. I'm using a coil my ProVari and ohm meter see as 1.7 but the DNA reads as 1.6, but this is no big deal. What I do have a slight issue with however is that anytime I try to fire the thing under 10 watts, it flashes the ohm reading at me telling me there is too little power to regulate. Well I did some math (dangerous for me) and checked a volts to ohms chart to be sure, and found that I really shouldn't be vaping this over 3.9 volts. It's too hot. It doesn't seem to be scorching, but I'm a little annoyed in principle. If I build a .8 Ohm coil will I still have to vape at 10 watts/4.2 volts? I just don't like stressing my kit. I know with kanthal wire I have a bit more room to maneuver, but it's still troublesome. I'm still pretty new to vaping, am I missing something? Thanks for any help!

  4. Just picked up a DNA 30 Tobecco mod which has a blinking ohm symbol when and after firing. Does anyone know why? Also is there any way to just adjust voltage? Manual wasn't much help. Thanks for any help!
  5. I have been a little reluctant to unscrew the airflow screw from the bottom of my KayFun as I'm worried that it might abrade and scratch the top cap of my ProVari. I was thinking that I could remove it completely, but am afraid it would leak ejuice. Any ideas? Also does anyone have any idea why vaping a 1.9 ohm coil at 4 volts burn juice? I think it might be because I didn't soak the wick in juice before assembling the chimney. Just a thought. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
