Question for you more experienced DIYers

At the risk of sounding like a dummy I have a question. I've heard about the additive 'Smooth'. I know the description on Wizard Lab's website says it helps "smooth out harsh flavors". Is this something I can use on, say, a cranberry flavor that is quite tart, to smooth some of the tartness down, rather than sweetening to the nth degree? I'm asking because, I want mix some cranberry flavors and all the cranberry juices I have purchased have a "bite" to them that make me cough my fool head off. Hubby noticed the same thing.

Or is this something used for non-fruit flavors?

I wish I could be more help. I have seen the additive smooth, but was never interested in using it. I did notice it contains Triacetin, which I have problems with because it doesn't like to mix well with VG, my experience with it was not good, it likes to separate after it is mixed, even in the tank it separates. So personally I won't buy a flavor with Triacetin in it.

Just my opinion.
