I often have the same problem with my 1100 mAh eGo battery. The battery is not making contact with the charger.

First, use a paper towel or napkin to clean any excess or caked juice from the threads. Then take a paper clip and carefully lift the circular base enclosed within the battery threads. It doesn't take much. Just slightly lift the base a bit. Your battery should charge now.

My "being nice" has nothing to do with it. Your expertise speaks for itself and many of us would benefit should you ever change your mind and decide to share what you know on a larger scale. Podcast perhaps? Something to think about...

Gloria was pleased that you enjoyed her company. Whether she'll return or not is up in the air. A lot depends on how much I've ticked her off; but she seems to be like you in one respect. You can't bully or make her do anything she really doesn't want to do. And you can't continually ask her about anything You can only float a suggestion her way and hope she's receptive to the idea. The truth of the matter is she FORGOT she agreed to accompany me to the vape meet. I only reminded her an hour prior to the time I planned on us leaving. I fully expected her to back out, but she probably didn't want to "hear my mouth" so she came along to keep the peace. I compromised by leaving earlier than I wanted to since she was gracious enough to come.

You can imagine my relief upon Gloria enjoying herself despite feeling a bit out of place. If she does return, it'll be due to the food and the company, NOT because of vaping and CERTAINLY not because of ME.

Ditto what's already been said concerning the difficulty of matching the flavor of an analog. But being a longtime Newport smoker, I've recently found and have become quite impressed with the selection of various menthols offered by Halo (http://www..com/). Perhaps you can find an acceptable menthol flavor there.

Yeah, I briefly returned to smoking after 2 years of vaping. It seems like after the novelty wore off I was left with the continuing frustration of getting a reliable vape from my pv. The batteries were so inconsistent. None of them held a charge for long (if they charged at all), so I was juggling 5...6...7 batteries a day. That and the carts and the batting and the juice leaks and the....ARRRGHHHH! Near the end there I was just sucking on dead batteries, not even bothering to charge them anymore.

I threw in the towel. I started vaping again when my local convenience store began selling e-cigs. It was alright for awhile but I was soon faced with the same frustration that caused me to initially stop. Was about to quit again when I stumbled upon a Facebook ad for the eGo. Up to then I had never even considered trying another style e-cig. (I'm loyal to a fault when it comes to certain things.) So I decided to take a chance...turns out the eGo was what I expected from an e-cig from the beginning. I've used it everyday now for 2 months and it hasn't failed me yet, so it looks like I'm back for good.
