Works pretty darn good with a Goon sitting on it as well.

The final frontier.  The obscure world of the squonker.  Shown here with a modified 22mm Tsunami (BF pin from a 24mm Tsunami).

    Hey Folks,
We've had a ton of questions about our Firesale, why we're doing it and what's going on Reset assured, we're not going anywhere. I wrote a blog post better explaining what's going on behind the scenes. You can read it here.

My phone costs me $17 and change every month for 300 minutes, I rarely use over 100 minutes a month, and they carry over a certain amount. Just have it for emergencies and stuff like that, I even ignore texts.

I'm going back in that direction next time around if they're still available.  I get plenty of face time every day with computers and I just don't use the cell much at all.  I also keep an ipad for controlling my monitors during performances and there is a lot of redundancy there as well.

That is why I'm sticking to my $25 flip phone, also I don't get service where I live so I could only use it away from home.

Lol,  Tempting isn't it?  On one hand, compared to many mods out there it is expensive.  On the other hand, it is about the same price as one night in a motel.  The latest Iphone is a GRAND!  A friggin Grand for a phone?  Are these devices really expensive?  Food for thought.

Ever since I had the Dripbox I have used SS316 coils in TC mode, its worked great for me. Even used it a couple of times driving to town. Dripping and driving isn't recommended, but Squonking and driving is OK.

Never tried a Kanger.  I am hoping that I take to squonking and that I can do it in TC.  That would be amazing!  No dry hits.  Just diminished fog to trigger the time to squeeze in more juice.  Time will tell.

I got a 160w Kanger Dripbox shortly after they came out, the RDA that comes with it leaves much to be desired, but the mod itself is a great dual 18650 mod. It came with a extra bottle too.

I have to admit there is another I have one eye on.  The Lost Vape Therion 75C BF is out.  I'm not going to jump into that until after I find out if I really take to squonking but Lost Vape makes wonderful devices.

My... how squonking has evolved. Once upon a time we used squonkers for direct drip atomizers. Look how far they've come...

Sounds like you and I will be taking the leap at about the same time.  I've got a wraith coming.  Can't tell you anything about it except @gadget  recommended it and I trust his judgement.  I never thought I would "squonk".  (what a word.  Feel weird even saying it).

It is a silly word but I must say, I got mine used about a week ago and I haven't been able to put it down.
The build deck appears to be set up for dual coils but I like single for flavor so that's how I built it.
The air flow is set up so it will work the same with either single or dual.
I'm running a 5/4 wrap SS Juggernaut coil at 0.3 ohms.
TC mode 40watts at 370° and the flavor is off the chart!

When the flavor starts getting weak, I squeeze the bottle and hold it for approximately 10 seconds to saturate the coil (before and after photos below). When you release the bottle all the excess juice gets sucked right back down into the bottle. This thing is virtually leak proof.

gadget reacted to mgreg in Kanger Cupti Coil flooding
This topic may be old but I have some insight on this issue for anyone interested. I have been a huge fan of the Cupti for about a year. I have 4 or 5 devices but I always come back to the Cupti. I think it's a great all around device. Great flavor, superior coil life, durable (dropped it more than once) and so comfortable to hold and fire.
Imagine my disappointment when I recommended one to my son and it had this flooding spitting issue. I started him on a cheap vape pen and he was pumped to receive the Cupti after using mine for a few days. He has been cig free for 6 months now. All went well for a few puffs but as soon as he set it down for a few minutes it flooded big time. I gave him mine to use and messed with his FOREVER to no avail. I tried to return it but I was given all kinds of grief from the vendor who shall remain nameless. I ordered ANOTHER one from a different vendor in a different color. Surely I couldn't get two bad ones right? Wrong...
While I was waiting for the second one to come I did some in depth research and came across what others have mentioned. If you have an AIR leak anywhere in the system, you WILL have a juice leak. It's inevitable. If you don't have a vacuum the juice won't stay suspended in the tank. So let's find the air leak!
I took the chimney out, attached and inflated balloon to the drip tip and put it in water. Ever 15 seconds or so a bubble formed from the BOTTOM of the coil where the contact meets the bottom of the coil. I found that if I applied light pressure to the bottom of the coil with my finger while still in the water the bubbles stopped. So.... figuring I had nothing to lose I put it together and screwed it down HARD. Much harder than I would normally be comfortable with.
INSTANT PERFECTION! Subsequent refills I have just screwed it down normally. I haven't changed a coil yet so I don't know if I will have to screw a new coil in hard to seat it or not.
    PART II
The new one arrived and of course had the same issue. No problem, I know what to do now! Wrong. It didn't work.
I gave this one to a friend who also has a Cupti. He loves to tinker with this stuff. He took a different approach. The first thing he did was swap chimney's with his working Cupti and my bad one. The new chimney leaked no matter where it was and his old one worked in either device. This limited the problem to the new chimney, not the whole device.
He then cleaned both chimneys and inspected then closely side by side to find the difference. What he found was that there is a groove about an 1/8" below the top gasket. On his (and mine) old unit there is an O ring. On the new one, just a groove, no ring. He pulled an O ring from one of his extra drip tips and placed it in this groove. Problem solved.
It's been about 3 weeks now and both of the new units are working perfectly. Not a single spit or gurgle.
So if you are reading this considering a Cupti, you are probably going to be scared to pull the trigger which is understandable but still a shame. If on the other hand  you already have one and it's spitting I hope one or both of these fixes work for you.
Hope this helps someone. As I said, once you get a Cupti firing properly it is a joy

Ok, I wasn't going to share this but it's too funny not to!

This happened a few years ago. The squirrels were causing so much damage I had taken all I could take so I went and bought a couple of live traps.
My theory was that I would relocate them to an area that has tons of trees and we would be good.
Every day for about 2 weeks I would catch at least one and put it in the back of my truck, drive over to the park and set it loose.
After the tally reached in the low 30s a friend said they were probably just coming back. The next one I caught I spray painted the tip of his tail white, relocated him, done deal.
The next evening when I got home from work I noticed another squirrel in a trap. Sure enough, he had a white tipped tail!
