That's why Vapor Talk the store and forum has some of the most loyal base around. I'm very happy that the VT store moved back to California.

I just found this place the other day and I place my first order today.
Less than an hour after placing my order I received a call from Christopher.
One of the items I ordered was ruined during the move. I was offered an alternative and we had a nice little chat.
Now that's what I call Customer Service!
Kudos to this site and forum, glad I found this place.

    Hi Folks,
    A late and sleepy update.
Our move is going well and things are ahead of schedule. Some orders have already shipped out with most if not all orders shipping by the end of tomorrow. The VT online store will fully open as of March 9th. (Though we won't open for local pickup until sometime in April) Additionally, we have quite a lot of open box inventory and other miscellaneous items. (Everything from mini screwdrivers to 801 pipes). I'm going to introduce a new auction system to the store by weeks end with a number of open box and other items that don't fit into the usual categories (more on this later).
As for now, all of us are pretty exhausted. Will have another update in a couple of days.
    Thanks!

    Nicotine is a Poison!

The active ingredient in e-liquids is very dangerous in concentrated form and if not handled with care and understanding, it can be fatal. Before attempting to make your own e-juice it is highly recommended you familiarize yourself with what you are handling. Xeno from www.vapersforum.com has written the Handling of High Concentration Nicotine Juice for Dummies guide which lays out the precautions that should be taken before and during the making of e-juice and when handling nicotine in any dose. Listed below are some excerpts from that guide.

If you have an IQ below 100 ("average" intelligence) don't even think of going near any nicotine liquid above 36mg
If you have children or pets keep your liquid somewhere where they cannot get a hold of it. On top of the refrigerator IS NOT a good place... any 2-3 year old with any climbing skills can get up there. LOCK IT UP!
DO NOT attempt to vape high concentrations of nicotine liquid. The liquid is meant to be cut down!!
When handling it wear protective clothing (rubber gloves, goggles/face shield, apron, even a chemical suit if you got it). If you get this stuff on you it can KILL YOU... at the very least make you blind (if you get it in your eyes) or make you extremely sick.
Be mindful of the pipets/syringes and other tools you may use for mixing. The nicotine residue on these tools would probably be enough to at the very least get a small child or pet really sick. Lock them up too.
If you happen to get uncut nicotine juice on you. IMMEDIATELY wash the affected area thoroughly. Don't wait until you are done mixing... GET UP AND WASH IT OFF!! If it gets on your clothes.. IMMEDIATELY remove the clothing, and get it washed off of you!
        Use common sense
I would personally also recommend that anyone attempting to make their own e-juice take a look at InChem's Nicotine (PIM) page for a further understanding of nicotine and the dangers associated with it.

    Happy and Safe Mixing!

Being a klutz, and totally aware that I'm a klutz... there's no way I'd get near that with a ten foot pole. Give me the diluted version, it works well enough for what I want anyway.

Pricey stuff... but diluted down to 100mg/ml ($23/L of 100mg/ml) that is still about $10 less than I've been paying per liter.   I just wouldn't want to be the one to cut it down from 1000mg to 100mg/ml without a clean-room and haz-mat suit with respirator.
I'm shocked they are selling to the general public at that strength!

These are rough figures and are meant for demonstration.  I am not advising you to do this

pure nic is 1000mg per milliliter.
1 drop is approximately .06 milliliters
therefore 1 drop is equal to 60 miligrams of nic.
If your tank holds 2 mils then you would be increasing your nic level to 30mg plus whatever you nic level is in your juice already.  If it's 12 then it would become 42.

    VERY DANGEROUS TO DO!

When dealing with pure pure nicotine I wouldn't even consider adding it to less than 30 mils of juice.  1 drop added to 30 mils of juice would roughly increase it by 2mg.

If if you have to ask this question, then you shouldn't be handling pure nicotine!!!!
sorry to be so blunt but it's a fact!

I'm new to DYI e-juice and the advice given per this thread leaves one obvious choice.  Call a hazmat team to dispose of the stuff!

Today marks 2 years since I purchased my first vape kit and gave up the analogs.  It was a belated birthday gift to myself that I have come to view as a "re-birth day".
Don't normally like to toot my own horn or pat myself on the back, but today truly is a milestone for me.

To celebrate my 3 year vape-versary (Feb. 8th) I bought myself  an Innokin Coolfire IV TC 75W mod, a new Limitless Plus RTA, and some assorted vaping  "stuff".   I'm not a high-wattage vaper so I'm hoping to get the same good experience with the Coolfire IV I've gotten with my EVic mini. 40-50W suits me fine, at least right now. That may change, maybe not. Who knows. Hmm, may need more batteries...............
If anyone had told me  3+ years ago that vaping would get me off the stinkies for good, I'd have probably reacted with "yeah right". Thank goodness for the co-worker that talked me into trying vaping. I've felt physically better than I have in years, my allergy medications have been cut in half, now just to get the extra weight off.  >>sigh<< Despite all the money I've spent on vaping gear, I know I have still SAVED money not buying stinkies.

Vaping is like onions.  It has layers.  (Yes I did steal and bastardize that).
As I get further along into building my own atomizers and get lower in resistance and higher in wattage the flavor is bursting!  I'm going back through some of the juices I have had for a bit and they are taking on a whole new life.  I had tried VTMN Purple and found it an ok vape but no outstanding flavor.  Put an RBA into a Crown (I) and holy crap!  There is a very distinct flavor.  It may not end up being my favorite, but there is flavor.  A ton of it!  The down side is I really need to up my game making DYI juice.  I've got a few tanks and RDA's that are real producers now but they drink juice like flushing a toilet.  Holy moly.  I had no idea what I was getting into.  But I like it!

@Adversarious1  Ok, bonded with the GX350 in a day flat. Obviously I can't speak to reliability over time but here is what I got:
First thing I noticed on removing the mod from the box is that without batteries the battery door does not want to stay shut.  No latching without batteries.  Battery door is well marked for battery orientation and the batteries that I used fit nicely in the sleeves provided.  It takes a fair amount of pressure to close the battery door with batteries installed.  The battery door bows slightly with batteries installed.  Sitting on a flat surface the mod will rock slightly from front to back.  It sits flat from side to side.  The mod is not easily knocked over.   Griping the mod is absolutely perfect for me.  I have fairly large hands.  The shape of the mod fits the natural hand grip the best of any mod I've used to date.  Very substantial feeling mod with no rattles.  The firing bar is extremely stable with no movement beyond it's intended travel for firing.  It is not extremely "clicky" but has a subtle but noticeable firing point.  There is a very short delay in firing.  Seems instantaneous to me.    Obviously the mod has some weight to it per four 18650 batteries.  I have carried it in a fleece jacket pocket but it is a lot of bulk for most pockets.  I really enjoy the top mounted screen.  I like looking at the screen after most every vape (no idea why) and it is very handy.  It also came in handy testing TC.  Too close to focus on while vaping but I could tell when it was going in and out of firing.  A friend who works at a vape shop mentioned that other top screen mods have had failures on top mounted screens due to juice getting into the display.  Time will tell.  The screen is raised.  I have up to 25mm tanks and they fit well.  A 25mm is close to max without hitting the screen.  The center pin on the 510 is stiff.  I have one tank that will not screw flush with the mod.  Zero problems with connectivity to tanks/RTA's/eieio.  The screen itself displays all necessary information including a puff time which latches between puffs.  There is a puff counter but to view it you must enter the menu system.  The puff counter also latches and must be reset via the menu.  The mod is designed to detect atomizer changes and query input, new or old tank.  I find this somewhat accurate.  I like to fire the device once without a tank between changes to ensure the new atomizer is recognized.  In TC the unit appears to be using the initial atomizer resistance as a base line as there is no facility for locking resistance.  Temp control is simple.  NI, TI, and SS.  The menu prompts you for available wattage and TCR value.  I am using a value of 88 for 316L and am getting a very smooth, very well regulated vape without obvious on and off periods.  In TC the temp itself is the primary display and is adjustable via up/down buttons on the mod.  There is no ramp adjustment in TC.  Both TC and VW modes latch.  Most menu adjustments can be achieved with only the fire button using either short or long presses.  Values have to be changed via the up/down buttons on the mod.  The up/down switches are under a rocker style button which can be pressed in center to lock the mod.  I have found no facility to lock settings while allowing the mod to fire.  Pressing the fire bar along with up or down button will take you to short cuts for changing wattage and mode in TC.  In VW mode the short cuts are ramp strength and mode.  The mod powers up with five clicks and powers down via menu.  I am estimating battery life to be between 700 and 750 vapes.  Low wattage vapes ( 30 - 50) @ approx 6-7 seconds, high wattage vapes (90 - 110) at 2-3 seconds.  The USB port has a rubber cover.  IMHO, nice touch.  Paint; Smok and paint; I already have three small chips in the paint.  Although tiny and on sharp edges, I am assuming it isn't the best paint job on the planet.

Opinion:  I love using this mod.  Fits like a glove and all functions work well and are easily accessed.  I actually like the weight.  Feels substantial.  Sits well at the desk or end table.  Rides nicely in the console of the car.  It's small enough for me to palm shift while driving and holding the mod.  I think my other mods are going to get lonely.
