Check out Wizard labs, or Heartland Vapes. Don't know about WL, but HV has a DIY starter kit with a lot of different flavors in it.

FXRich got a reaction from kookookachoo in Question about TC
Some mods don't have a wattage setting for TC, just temp setting. I use Kanger mods exclusively, and there is no wattage setting in TC, it doesn't matter if I set it to 5 watts or 160 watts, it still functions the same,  some other brands are the same, depends on who makes them.
Kanger says the initial wattage depends on the coil resistance, I did read somewhere that the initial surge is at a specified voltage which would make sense. Whether that is at 3.3 or 3.7 Kanger isn't saying, or maybe it is higher than that I don't know. Some people say the initial surge is at max watts the mod will go, but I find that hard to believe since my .7 coils would burn the cotton using 160w, even if it only lasted a fraction of a second.

Most people don't use SS 304 (food grade SS) for coils, but most do use SS 316L (surgical grade SS). 316L has a lower carbon content, and is more resistant to corrosion than 304.
Most of the tanks manufactured do use SS 304 to make the main body of the tank, I believe most of the drop in, and premade SS coils are made with 316L wire.

It looks like you are using TCR mode of your gx350 (I'm assuming there is a TCR setting where you can dial in the specific setting for a specific type of wire) and that looks like the temp co-efficient for SS304 wire.  If you are using SS304, then yes, that setting is good.  If you aren't using SS304 then I can't recommend the proper setting.
Your best bet would be to use the basic setting for whatever type of wire you are using (Ni for nickel, Ti for Titanium or SS for stainless steel).  If it's kanthal, don't try to use it in TC mode.

Good luck to you with your DIY mixing, remember what tastes good to someone else might not taste good to you, and the other way around too. Draino is easy to mix, and also wet sock flavor.

I don't know about a year, but I have been using some for a long time. Usually I change the coil when I want to change the resistance, I know I have been using a dual coil setup in one of my tanks for at least 6 months, just changing the cotton occasionally.

Usually when using a rebuildable deck only the cotton needs to be replaced once a week or so. I can go longer, but I find after a week or so the flavor seems to be the issue, and replacing the wick after dry burning the coil makes it like a new coil.

Awesome, thank you!  Yeah I figure there's a learning curve, once I find something that works, I can vape that for a while until I work some other flavors out.

When I get down to my last 30ml I mix up a 120ml batch, It usually sits for at least a week at room temp before I use it. From past experience the Bavarian cream needs to steep, like most other creams. The orange is usually ready to vape after mixing.
After you DIY for awhile you will know which flavors need to steep a long time, and which don't need to steep very long. I mix a Big red gum flavor 3% cinnamon and 15% bubblegum, the cinnamon can be tasted right away, but the bubblegum needs to steep for a week to really taste it.

I mix a orange cream juice, I use 15% blood orange, and 5% Bavarian cream, works for me.

Was messing around the other day trying to come up with a good flavor, thought I would try to make up some Absinthe, so I mixed up a 10ml batch of
    15% Root Beer FW
    5% Anise FW
Didn't taste much like Absinthe, but it did taste like Jagermeister, at least it did to me. That happens a lot to me try to mix one thing and get something else.

Usually in a case like that the problem is the center pin, probably needs to be lifted a little. Some 510 connections are a little shorter than others, and the spring might not be strong enough to push it up.

You are right about the TC and low ohms, I run a SS .5 to .8 coil with TC except for the 160w dripbox with that I run dual SS .8 coils that meter at .4, and get a cool to warm vape using the TC set at about 370 degrees.
BTW I run a Hemi in my Dodge, and can get 26 mpg on a road trip if I keep my foot out of it, but its in a Magnum and not a Ram, much lighter car. But when passing the gas gauge moves almost as fast as the speedometer. Kind of like a mod when you turn the watts up and the battery don't last as long.

You could check out the Vapor Talk store, they may not have the lowest prices on the net, but they have great customer service.
An added bonus to buying stuff from the V/T store is if something is not right you can complain to Chris, and he'll make it right.

FXRich got a reaction from Tam in Smok TFV8 Baby Beast coil recommendations, please!
For a long time I used a 30PG/70VG mix, after awhile that seemed to get harsh, and hot.
Recently I have been using a 20%PG/70%VG/10%distilled water, and the vape is not harsh or hot anymore, distilled water will make the juice thinner it has a consistency of a 50/50 mix. Also adding water to the mix lowers the temp needed to vaporize the juice, and makes the vape cooler, kind of like when you add water to antifreeze, it lowers the boiling point. Adding water will also reduce the watts needed to vaporize the juice.
I'm not saying everyone should add water to their juice, just saying what worked for me, some people like a harsh vape with a lot of throat hit, but not me.

From what I have read about it, it has a 510 connection so you should be able to put just about any tank or RDA on it.
