The site Taste Your Juice is owned and operated by Phil Busardo. pbusardo on youtube, on here and other forums. He is a great voice for vaping, he also has many great reviews on the fine products we use daily in our vaping journey.

I have learned a lot about many great vaping devices from tanks to cartos and VV/VW electronic mods. Devices to make building easier like the coil-master.
Check him out, he gives a lot of technical data about all things vaping and does it with a sense of humor. Very informative and entertaining.

Going out on a limb with this, but I think we the people should tax the government and get our money back.
Or  at least treat the Government like a business we are investing in and vote to drop every officials pay to current federal minimum wage. Make them sign up and get private health insurance. Outlaw special interest and fine the offenders heavily.

And as an investor I would recommend firing those who don't do their job to meet our expectations.

GeorgeF reacted to Earthling789 in Is getting e-liquid on your skin harmful?
Just in case this is a legit question, and not just another troll...

Everything is harmful in large enough quantities... drink a few gallons of water in a short period of time, and you could die.  Too much salt in a day, and you can die.. drink the entire keg of Guinness, and you could die of alcohol poisoning... seeing a pattern yet?

You're VAPING the same thing, so how can it be different to vape it than to get it on your skin??  Use some logic and common sense, and stop listening to the propaganda-machine of the Ministry of Public Health and the Media!!!

If you are a smoker (former smoker), getting a little e-liquid on your skin will not even bother you at all.  The Nicotine is absorbed into the skin rapidly, which is why you should keep e-liquids and e-cigs AWAY from children and pets, because exposure is rapid.  Children, non-smokers, and pets can get sick from Nicotine, because it is a stimulant (NOT A TOXIN, NOT A CARCINOGEN).

To achieve lethal toxicity levels (for an avg adult), you would have to absorb/consume 500-1000mg of pure nicotine (and many -mostly smokers- have survived MUCH higher doses).  At 1.8% dilution levels, that's 18mg per ml.... or 27.8ml (roughly a full fluid-oz) to equal a 500mg dose... or 55.5ml (roughly 2 fluid-oz) to equal a 1000mg dose.  Therefore, a few drops of e-liquid on your skin... NO, it won't poison you, but you should minimize your exposure (again, common sense)!

Those of us who regularly handle 100mg/ml bulk-Nicotine exercise extreme caution, using Nitrile or latex gloves, arm protection, goggles, and even face-masks to protect us from accidental drips or spatters.  No, a spatter of 100mg/ml is not lethal, but can make you experience nausea and vomiting, excessive salivation, abdominal pain, pallor, sweating, hypertension, tachycardia, ataxia, tremor, headache, dizziness, muscle fasciculations, and seizures.

    Interesting Factoid....

The toxicity of Nicotine in Rats is 10X the tolerance level than humans... so why are all these labs using rats/mice to study the effects of Nicotine or smoking?

Yep. I can relate. Had to sit in bumper to bumper traffic that was almost stopped for 45 minutes today for a fender bender that looked like minimal damage. Two California Highway Patrol cars, a CHP motor unit, a Sheriff's unit and two Border Patrol Units.
I have a sneaky feeling there was a partridge in a pear tree lurking somewhere as well.

Thanks for the read... and your brother is one smart cookie for knowing the meat of the pamphlet has to do with the possible cause of fire due to Li-Ion battery charging issues...   Sadly, the pamphlet is written with a ton of info from WHO, FDA, FEMA, and other politically oriented organizations that slanted a lot of the wording and data to show e-cigs as a demon to be eradicated (or at least sin-taxed).

I understand the need of fire personnel and investigators to know the potential issue with Li-Ion batteries, but how does this info assist a first-responder?  Other than to aid the propaganda-machine to now blame all fires in the homes/vehicles/work-places where vaping gear is found... on the vaping gear!

This is just like how the doctor listed the cause of death of my grandmother as "smoking related", even though she died of passive heart-failure in her sleep at the age of 97 (just because she smoked 2-packs a day).  She also drank 2-6 beers every day of her adult life, but they didn't list her cause of death as alcoholism... because that doesn't fit their agenda!

Yeah, it's much worse in CA (and many big cities in other states), where the lawyers have made it impossible for anyone to flush a toilet without three letters of intent, a waiver from your cardiologist that it's safe for you to be pushing the handle, and $50M in liability insurance!

Here in KY, (in the larger cities) it takes 4 fire trucks to get a cat out of a tree, but a fender-bender takes 30-min for a cop to show up... an hour later, you'll get 2 ambulances, rescue-squad, at least 2 fire trucks, and half a dozen cops.  BUT, in the sticks where I live, you can call the Sheriff before you axe-murder a whole bus-load of nuns, and have time to dispose of the bodies and concoct an alibi before ONE cop shows up

Have you ever tried to drink a think milkshake thru a cocktail straw? That is what using Max VG in any tank is like. high VG is very thick and can't wick into a coil fast enough in any tank system.

Like Comp said the thickest liquid for tanks would be 30pg/70vg. And only tanks with larger wicking holes will do it with success. Like the Aspire Nautilus with the newer style BVC coils. Other than that I would suggest any of the newer tanks on the market. Aspire Atlantis, Kanger Subtank, Arctic tank, Melo by Eleaf.
With these new tanks you need to have a device capable of handling Sub ohms and higher power needed to run the coils.

Comp knows. But its always pg/vg ratio, That is the industry standard. Not vg/pg ratio. Took me a bit to get this as well. Now I know. And welcome to VaporTalk namegame.

I have no problem with 30pg/70vg in my protank 3s. The minis use the same coil, so itll likely work fine as well.

I know from personal experience that 35pg/65vg can be handled by a Kangertech SubTank mini. I am currently running it with Sicker Than Most by Sicboy, 35%PG/65%VG. And the stock .5 coils seems to be keeping up after 2 days of chain vaping and 3 tankfulls

Lately I've found my wicking takes much more time than wrapping, and installing coils. At times it gets to the point where I find myself nipping single strands of wick. Talk about overkill and a headache.  But no dry hits is definitely a pay off.
