I picked up a coil from my local vape shop last night intended for my Crown 2 tank.

The coil I received is a Crown coil (which I believe is supposed to be compatible with the Crown 2) however the coil does not fit, it is cleanly smaller than the crown 2 coil when compared side by side.

Anyone know What the story is with this?

    See photos below:

I use similar coils, but prefer the 0.25ohm coils. They last a long time and produce great flavor, and clouds.

  2. For my second mod I was gonna jump on the heatvape with temp control, but after hearing about the firmware issues with the strange shut offs I passed figured I would wait until heatvape re did the model. Then I was gonna pull the trigger on a new MVP3PRO cant go wrong there, but now joytech has to come out with this. Soon everything is gonna be temp control and these new coils for it lol. Man The vaping industry is moving faster then the computer industry We are getting new greater & supposed better every few weeks lol

You're right, and I'm loving the new vape tech, too. There's been much talk of the government legislation that could eventually make the sales of electronic mods illegal. It's really bad in California, but even my home state of Texas is looking at a bill that would prohibit online sales to people. I'm definitely going to buy another mech mod soon, just in case, and stock up on coils.
  3. So I ordered a few e-liqs from Mt Baker Vapor. I got Rainbow Sherbet (delicious), Bananas Foster (delicious), and sweet cream which in my opinion tastes and smells like butter popcorn. I haven't tried any other sweet cream e-liqs in any other brand so I don't know if this flavor just can't be re-produced properly in e-liquid form or if maybe I got a bad bottle. The only thing I've eaten that was sweet cream flavored and LOVED was Cold Stone's sweet cream ice cream so I figured it would taste like that. Maybe I just don't know what sweet cream is, lol.

I ordered MBV Sweet Cream a couple of years ago, and didn't like it. I've been disappointed with most of their flavors, and only some of their bestselling flavors have hit for me. I do like their Moo Juice and Blu Moo, and Butterscotch Candy is good. Several people said their Banana Cream Pie was good, but it was the worst juice I've ever tried. Even after a long steep it tasted like vomit...not kidding!
  4. For those who have not tried or for those who love Nicoticket e-juice they are having a 50% site wide sale for memorial day. Huge score for me. Stocked up on some Strawnilla.

    http://www.nicoticket.com/

If anyone else finds great Memorial day/week deals please share.

I love lots of Nicoticket juices, and their new The Cure is off the chain. I've already gone through 120ml, and have more on the way. They have a one time per customer BOGO sale, and they give you 50% off your entire order. I'm waiting for their anniversary sale on June 11, as that's a one day only sale, where again everything is half price. I didn't think my BOGO through carefully enough, and wish I'd bought more. Their Absolute Creme Brulee is another of my favorites. I also like Peanut Butter Cookie mixed with Frenilla, which is their version of french vanilla. Nicoticket is well known for their in house vanilla flavors.
  5. I just seen on TV news where teens here in Oregon are putting ejuice in sodas to get high. In Oregon they haven't passed a law that stops minors from buying ecigs yet. Like that's going to stop them. I'm waiting for the day when a kid ODs on nicotine. They will blame vaping.

They are drinking ejuice? I can't even stand to SubOhm nicotine higher than 12mg, and I smoked for 25 years.

They're dripping high NIC e-liquids into things like Red Bull... high caffeine, and a Nicotine buzz... and the carbonated drink speeds it to your system, much the same reason people use Tonic, cola, or Soda water with alcohol... it speeds up the intoxication effect.

These are also the same "kids" that will huff paint or gasoline... looking for that cheap buzz.... and the reason I have to show ID to buy a can of Krylon these days... because as an adult, I'm not as likely to huff it or use it for graffiti... (in the infinite wisdom of our politicians).

Kids can't order ejuice online without their parent's debit card; all they can do is keep minors out of B&Ms, like liquor stores. Crazy kids, that's not even a good buzz.
  6. The Atlantis is not really rebuildable, but I do love it. I just purchase a kanger sub tank mini though.[emoji7]

Good choice; I love mine. It holds plenty of eliquid, and the 22' diameter fits on most Mods. I really don't use the RDA, and would have gone with the Nano, but didn't like the 18' size. I've been vaping several years now, and this is the best tank I've ever had...the occ coils last a long time, too.
  7. I vape with a Kanger Subtank Mini / 50watt iStick combo and my occ coils easily last me 3 to 4 weeks each. I'm very impressed with them. I used the Kanger enclosed dual coils, which were an improvement over the single coils, and lasted about 6 days. These coils are another reason I love my Kanger Subtank; I'm saving lots of money on coils. I vape 50/50 blends of mostly Nicoticket ejuice.

  8. If you want to use the same coils that you use with your Protank 3, the Kanger Aerotank takes them, and so does the Kanger Subtank. The Subtank can also take the occ coils, which are preferable because they last longer. If you use the upgraded dual coils in the Subtank, you have to buy the SubOhm coils at 0.8, or 1.0. The 50watt iStick is awesome!

  9. Im looking for very vg heavy juices, but I'm unsure of what websites online to trust for this. Ive heard a lot about being very picky with your juice, anyone have any trusted providers you could point me towards?

Cloud Science has excellent reviews, and they are 90% VG. I've seen their products on The Hill Giant site. Some companies let you choose your PG/VG ratio, like Mt Baker Vapor. If you order from them, please only buy their best sellers. Some of their stuff is unvapable. I've had good luck only with their listed best sellers.
  10. Hi All,

So Last week I went down to my local Vaping store and brought a 'Aspire CF G-power' Vapor stick and it has a 'K1 Glass Tank' on it.

I then brought 4 Flavours: Virginia ( Cig Flavor ), Apple, Peach & Grape.

I've tried all of these but there is little to no difference in the taste, other than the grape which just tastes a bit sweeter than the others. The Virgina Flavor was just horrid.

All of these are 12ml bottles with 18mg of Nicotine in them.

What can I do to improve the taste of these or is it the amount of nicotine that is having an affect ?

    Thanks !

I think you may have bought a bad line of ejuice. I advise going to a Vape lounge and try several flavors in each category...figure out your flavor profile. These are the categories:

    1. Tobacco

    2. Menthol

    3. Desserts

    4. Custards and Creams

    5.Coffee, teas, other drinks

    6. Candy

    7. Unusual

The Hill Giant, and Skyline Vapor are just two online companies that sell most Premium Eliquid Brands; with no shipping charges or taxes. Skyline has popular brands like Suicide Bunny on sale right now. Many people swear by Mother's Milk, and it's on my list to try, as is Kings Crown -Bound By the Crown.

  11. I have actually been doing some looking and found that I can get the iStick 50w for a decent price..what are your guys thoughts on something like that.....

I love my 50watt iStick, paired with a Kanger Subtank Mini. It's not much bigger than the 30watt, fits perfectly in my hand, and my Subtank looks great paired with it. I'm vaping it at 24w, with the .5 occ Kanger coils.

I also purchased an Aspire CF SubOhm Battery that is great, too. I'm thinking I should have bought the Mod that runs off the 18650 batteries, but got it on sale for 20 bucks.

I am using an old Aerotank V2, and Aerotank mini on the Aspire, but it handles the Subtank as long as the coils are .5 - 1.0 range.

Go for the 50w iStick; it's only $8 more than the 30w...I do notice ejuice tastes better at higher wattage...that's why I like Nicoticket as it's unscortchable.

  12. Ditto what's already been said concerning the difficulty of matching the flavor of an analog. But being a longtime Newport smoker, I've recently found and have become quite impressed with the selection of various menthols offered by Halo (http://www..com/). Perhaps you can find an acceptable menthol flavor there.

Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

Halo does have a nice line of menthol that many people like. I can't do menthol, but I like their Belgium Cocoa. I'm not a huge Mt Baker Vapor fan, but their Thug Juice, Moo Juice, and Blue Moo are good. I guess my favorite company is Nicoticket; they make their own NET tobacco extract, and put their in house vanilla in many flavors. Their Custards Last Stand, and Wakonda, and Absolute Creme Brulee are great. Plus, they are thick and don't burn away quickly. Grandmaster by Five Pawns is delicious after a 2 month steep; their Bowdens Mate is similar to an Andes Mint, and I like it occasionally...a menthol lover would like it, I think.
