I am very familiar with over production, using CNC machines, once the tooling is set and the program is in, the only cost is material, and electricity. As a example I sell 200 parts to a company every few months, if I run 800 - 1000 parts, I can sit on the remaining parts until they order them. The only downside is if they change the specs. So far they have not changed specs for years. I do this with most of the repeat parts I produce. The more parts I produce the cheaper the cost per part, so profit margin goes up. Due to the fact most of the parts I produce are proprietary, I can't sell them to someone else. The Chinese could care less if a part is  proprietary, so they can sell them.

Thanks for confirming what I already suspected, Chris.
As with most Chinese manufacturers, they are paid by XYZ company to produce a specific number of widgets per day, or for only so many hours per day... the rest of the time left in that day is typically spent continuing to manufacturer the same widget using lesser materials or even the same materials... just altering or omitting the manufacturing logo of the OEM product.  And, once the contract expires, rather than re-tool a productive product line, they'll continue to produce that product as a 1:1 clone for as long as it is profitable.... I'm sure the manufacturer in question still has millions of the Kanger boxes and miles of Kanger logo foil for the blister packs?  US manufacturers do the same thing... A local factory which produces diapers for Kimberly Clark only produces for that logo 10-hrs per day... the remaining 14 hours per day, they produce "generic" products for store-logos... but they are exactly the same diapers, same materials, but with different packaging and pull-tabs.
These clone coils are very high quality... so far... I've yet to find a bad one from the four 50-packs I've purchased, and if I do find a bad one, it can be rebuilt or tossed... after-all, they're cheap enough to toss away and not think twice about it   IMO, these are 1:1 clones, possibly made on the same line as the original Kanger OCC coils?  All but five 5-packs have the proper packaging logos, all of them (so far) meter 1.17-1.21 Ohms, and all of them bear the exact same markings/stamps as OEM coils... and they vape great, too!

I agree the data needs to be updated.
One thing to think of with the configuration of the batteries is that with a regulated mod it really doesn't matter.  As you know, on a series mod your amp value is the that of the single battery (2-20A batteries in a series has approximately 20A capacity @ 7.4V) with a parallel mod you spread the load between the batteries (2-20A batteries have a 40A capacity at 3.7V)  The funny thing is the math works out the same for both - 75W/7V*1.1=11.79A pulled from the batteries in a series mod & 75W/3.5V*1.1=23.57/2 cells = 11.79A in a parallel mod.
Now something I really need to figure out is how a triple 18650 mod works.  Are these regulated only?  I checked the RX200 the other day and they are wired in a series, so you have 11.1V available.  The DNA 200 is the same way with a lipo pack or.  How would one correctly calculate the battery draw on it.  I have always calculated it like the normal Variable Wattage mods, but am not 100% sure this is correct.   It does have a 2 completely different circuits, but, I don't know...
TC does add a layer of safty and complexity to a mod.  In preheat you might exceed you max amperage draw for a split second, but with all of mine it quickly regulates the power (watts) quickly down to maintain temp.  So your amp draw should be much less, but this has never resulted in a longer lasting battery, for me anyway.
Sorry, I go all nerdy at the drop of a hat!
I really can't explain why your batteries would degrade that fast.  I have not had many batteries that have "gone bad" on me.  In fact most of the time, they just die.
I feel like you will like the HG2s much better than what you have. The 30Q is exactly the same as the HG2 in my opinion.  (there are differences, but  I have found that due to the popularity of the HG2, I could pick up the 30Qs cheaper

I struggled with with this quite a while.  I was originally taught to calculate everything like a mechanical mod, but it didn't make sense.  How could a battery at 4.2 - 3.5 Volts supply 6+ Volts to the coil.  It took an "old timer", from another board, quite a few posts to get it beat into my thick skull...lol
The battery can't supply a constant voltage, but it will supply a constant power (watts).  You are exactly correct, as voltage drops, your Amps go up.  The difference at 75 watts goes from 19.84A with a fully charged battery (4.2V) to 23.81A with a battery at 3.5V.
I am like you, I really enjoy the nerd discussions.  Poor @Edna gets caught up in my OCD, Nerd Rant when she is just asking about how to extend battery life...lol
Bottom line for you @Edna is that if you are using a regulated mod and running 25 - 30 watts, a HG2 or Samsung 30Q batteries would be a great investment for you.  You will notice a difference.  I run a NEBOX at 25 watts.  With the HE2/HE4 batteries, I change them before I leave work (5:00) but with the HG2 or 30Q, I normally change them late in the evening around 9:00 - 10:00.  I personally keep 6 (or more) charged at one time, but I never know when I am going to have to jump and run out of town for work.

Now I see what you are talking about, you are referring to the drain on the battery not what goes to the coil. But doesn't that change depending on whether the battery is fully charged or almost drained. the wattage stays the same but not the amps when the battery gets low. it seems to me when the voltage drops more amps are needed. Unless a constant voltage is supplied to the board. A charged battery runs 4 - 4.2V most of the batteries I have will go down to 3.5V before needing a charge that's a .7V difference.

I'm still rocking the evic VTC mini.  I know, I know it's only 60w device. Well the truth is I rarely use half that and I pretty much live around 20 - 24w and I like it so.
I pretty much use the evic mostly (and I have a couple of them) and my tanks of choice are the subtank minis and the youde zephrus.  Back ups for those are my invader mini and IPV.

Lately I got a couple subvods and I am really liking these for short quick outings when I don't want to carry a lot of stuff. And my new Tesla stealth is never far away. It's almost too much.  I really prefer simplicity which I stay with pretty much one style of tank.  After all while it has become a mini hobby for me, mainly I'm just happy to be off cigs so I am eaasily satisfied without too much fuss over hardware.

At work I use a nautilus mini on a regulated mod with a submerged design, ala the MVP. I have a MVP that is currently down, it's in my drawer to fix, a Kangside Luxury box and a Smoant Knight. I love the submerged tank design for work because I can drop it in any pocket on me and not worry about breaking the tank. (Anyone know of other mods like this? I want a few spares in case the deeming regs stick around.)
In the truck I have a Istick 50 with a subtank plus. 5 other subtanks that get used in a not so regular fashion on either my Tesla Stealth or the Istick. I also have a Freemax Starre that I love running a .25ohm coil in on my IPV4s that only gets used if I am in the garage or outdoors as it will fog the entire house up if I try to use it indoors.
I carry 2 spare 18650s in the outer pocket of my lunch box to work (In a protective case), a nitecore ui20 in my truck just incase and atleast 1 30ml bottle of juice for the subtanks and a couple 10ml bottles of juice for the Naut Mini also in the lunch box.
I have 2 sets of married cells for the IPV4s, 6 18650s for the others in rotation and have a LucV4 to charge at home.
For backups I have 2 subboxes, a Dopovo-65 and a couple Ego batts that I use once a month or so to make sure they still work.

Once the government does something its hard for them to admit that they made a mistake, and undo it. The best known example is the 18th amendment (prohibition), which had to be undone by the 21st amendment, the only Constitutional amendment ever repealed. I don't look for Congress to do anything because the current POTUS will probably veto it anyway. Just my opinion.
If it were not for the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, passed in 2009 the FDA would not have any control over tobacco products, and we would not have these new FDA regulations.

When I'm at home I generally vape a single mod/tank/juice setup. At the moment I'm vaping my Fuchai 213 with TFV8. Work days or when I'm out and about is an entirely different story.

I usually have 2 regulated mods with me when I leave the house, and I have been accused of overkill with the extras I carry with me on a daily basis. In my defense I am on the go a lot during my work days and I have a long commute, so I'd rather be safe than sorry.

In addition to whatever regulated box mods I decide to use each day I usually have at least two extra tanks (sometimes 3), two needle tip bottles filled with juice for refilling, 2 to 4 additional 30ml bottles of juice, 2 to 4 extra batteries, at least one mech mod (sometimes two) with an RDA on each one, my coil kit, 26 gauge kanthal and cotton.

As if that isn't enough, I also have two 11000 mAh battery packs that are normaly reserved for cell phone charging. It just so happens they are very effective at charging batteries in mods as well.

I work in law enforcement.  Over the years I have been in courtrooms many times when I have heard a defense attorney object to a statement made by a witness and ask for that statement to be struck from the official court record.  When this happens, the attorney generally states specifically what wording they want removed from the record and the judge repeats it to the court reporter when making the official order to strike the statement.  The vast majority of the time the statements being objected to/struck are irrelevant to the case and really have no bearing on it, but every once in a while a statement made by a witness, whether warranted or not, can influence a jury's decision to convict or not convict.  In those particular cases I have always found it interesting that the reason the defense attorney wants a particular part of a statement struck is so the jury won't officially "remember" it, but by repeating the statement and then having a judge repeat the statement while issuing the order to strike the statement it usually ends up burning that statement into the memories of the jury.  While the struck statement cannot be used in determining guilt, it ends up serving as a subliminal message of sorts.
What does this have to do with the FDA regulations?  Subliminal messages.  I was chatting with a fellow vaper here at work today about the regs and where we see things going.  We are both in agreement that vendors not being able to promote vaping as a safer, healthier, less dangerous alternative to smoking is ridiculous.  So we came up with the following text that a shop owner could potentially post in the window of their shop (or even inside the shop).  It probably wouldn't fly very far, but it still might be fun to test the waters a bit.
