  1. Shyyyyyt, I want to be buried with my Ego in my hand! The other day my gf and I began, ahem, intimacies and I said to myself out loud "put your vape down," and she replies, "uh, ok, sorry." ROTFLMAO!!! And I wasn't even speaking to her. I have been nic free now for over a year and it's still glued to my hand or lips (aren't bite tips simply dreamy?) I lovingly call it my adult pacifier....and I wouldn't change it for the world!

  2. Unfortunately, I do not have a Wall Street Journal subscription and therefore don't have access to the article beyond the first couple of sentences. Would someone please be so kind as to copy the article in its entirety and email it to me? Please contact me directly for my email. Thank you so much! We have been expecting this....

Just in. The FDA is starting to send cease and desist letters to suppliers informing them they are breaking federal law. This is an important article that needs to be read. This is what we've all been expecting. This is NOT good news.

  3. Hi All,

    Melinda again....

I am searching around for interesting flavors. Who is your favorite supplier? I was looking at DIY Flavor Shack and they seem to have a lot of unusual eliquids, especially the clove, which is what I used to smoke. Has anyone tried the clove from DIY? And one last query, coupon code resources? Thanks tons everyone!!!

  4. My understanding is the soft top is removable, so its easy to refill the carto. The hard top is not removable so you have to drip through the batt connection end or use the condom method.

Er, um "condom method?" If you would be so kind to extrapolate on that technique I would greatly appreciate it......

  5. The soft top ones have a removable rubber plug for easier filling /refilling.The hard top ones are prefilled and while they can be filled/refilled it requires a lot more effort.VaporTalks hardtop carto's also do not fit the 510 power gear I am not sure what they do fit beside "Vapor Talk classic kits". Don't you dislike it when you have to figure out what it is?

Yes, especially when the answers I get leave me with MORE questions....LOL! First off, thank you for your reply. Secondly, what is "power gear?"

  6. Ok, so I go the the Vapor Talk store to find something to buy and I see "Soft Top 510 Model Cartomizers." Now, I just learned the difference between a cartomizer and an atomizer and now there is this???? Oy. So, I ask the more experienced and educated vapees, what is the difference in relation to the experience and the usage between a soft top and a hard top? Also, what area is this referring to on the cartomizer?

  7. When I use my blu I find better results with direct dripping. Just two or three drops on the mesh, enough to lightly moisten it will give me several hits far and away better than the original carts ever did. Just throw away the inner reservoir. After two months of heavy use I have only lost one atty. I find that some juices are better in the blu, and someday hope my wife lets me buy a 901, since I am sick of the temperamental batteries of the blu. The Blu attys fit on my tornado, but they probably shorten the life of the atty.

Ok, good to know. Thank you. What juices have you found to work best in the blu?

And I too, love the avatar!!!

  8. When you say you get no draw do you mean the unit dies or you get no vapor?

No vapor. The battery still lights up.

Even with a brand new cartridge, I will get like 2 (maybe 3) good pulls, then barely nothing after that.....

  9. Thanks. Are there any videos on here that will teach me how to tell the difference between a genuine Joye and a fake?

Just remember that market prices are living creatures. $52.00 was an excellent price for the 510 kit in March. $35 may be considered pricey by Christmas. However, buying local has advantages and convenience that the market will never account for.

  10. Wow, that is good! And you researched them, you say?

I got my 510 from Cignot.com It comes with 2 complete cigs, charger and 5 carts for $35 and it took 2 days to get to me. It's in the Midwest I guess. I didn't think this was a bad price after researching them.

  11. Hi,

I presently have the blu cig (I know, I know...no giggling at me). I am curious, how do I know when the addy is shot? In general, how often do the atomizers need to be replaced? I am going to upgrade to a 510 or ego but I need to finish up my blu cartridges up first. Any guidance out there for a real beginning noob?

  12. Hi,

I have the blu cig. I must admit, it was fine for me as a way to get off of analogs. It simulated my "habit" well ie: carrying the pack and its ease of use, HOWEVER, while using it I fell in love with vaping for vaping sake and not as an analog substitute. With this new perspective, I find the blu cig to be lacking. The blu cig has an automatic battery (not a manual one like the Joye 510)and because of this I can't direct drip or it will ruin the battery. Also, the smoke volume is low compared to what I see with the Joye and eGo. I am now, after only 2 months, wanting to repurchase to a better system. I suggest skipping the blu and going straight to the more advanced systems. Trust me, vaping is great and you won't regret it. I don't even like analogs anymore.....

I have not seen a lot of information on blucig. Can anyone out there give me some information. How does it taste? Does it vap good? Performance. ETC, ETC. I am new to vaping and I am thinking about ordering a blucig. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  13. Hi Luke,

I am new here and am just learning so I have LOTS of questions....lol!

You mentioned a "low resistance" addy. What are the benefits and draw backs to using a LR addy?

    Melinda

The eGo uses the 510 atomizers yes, the eGo battery (standard size will last you 8+ hours per charge. The MEGA eGo batteries closer to 12+ hours. Cut it down a bit if you use low resistance atomizer. (i do i do!)

    Luke
