I don't normally vape tobacco favors anymore, but I wanted to try my "Fadora Blend" in the Kayfun. I'm tasting notes I had not tasted before.

Wait? You're supposed to CLEAN these things??

Seriously... I clean mine whenever they get gunked-up or I notice a film beginning to form on the interior of the glass, which indicates contaminants have made it into the juices. "Thorough cleaning" involves a little dish-soap, but a quick rinse with hot water does wonders! I always let them dry overnight, OR use an alcohol rinse with cheap Vodka (safe to vape if a drop gets left behind) to aid in dispersing water from the crevices, to speed up drying time

I do use water on tanks and pieces of the tank, except the coil. Water does a fine job cleaning out the nooks and crannies, but try to dry it good. The coils, on the other hand, does not work too well, unless you let it dry a while. Preferably overnight.

And this is reason #754 why many of us try to discourage people from buying e-cig related stuff from eBay.

It is not unlike the Government to think they are protecting everyone from the ignorance of the few. A good example are Fireworks, also became heavily regulated and just plain banned in some states.

I couldnt agree more with this Chris. It is a disturbing trend to see some of the questions that are asked. I do not chime in because I have vaped for about a year and a half now and never even considered anything I have to build or rebuild because its not in my forte' of skills lol. It really should be an activity practiced by the top few % of vapers that have an honest and true understanding of it.

Like I have said many times, the misuse of Mechs and batteries by noobs not ready for advanced PVs are in my opinion the single biggest threat to the future legality of vaping.

Good catch Spydre... my brain was thinking one thing and my hands typed another... What I should have said was anesthetic , rather than sedative... Cigarette manufacturers add ingredients to numb the throat/lungs to reduce the throat-hit and convulsive/cough reaction when inhaling. The "other" things smoked by lavendarshy also have this same effect, naturally... Yes, nicotine is a stimulant, but I was referring to the "additives"

I've had this happen more than once... my carrier would leave a box on top of my mailbox, or on the ground next to the mailbox... I'm in a rural area, and the a-holes that live out my road will not hesitate to drive slowly by and snag a box... having no idea what is inside it, but knowing they'll be able to use it, hock-it, or sell it to someone sooner or later....

After having maybe a dozen packages stolen like this... my mail-lady now pulls off the road, drives up my long driveway, and will deliver any box which is too large for my mailbox directly to the door... or she'll leave it in the cab of my pick-up (which is never locked) if nobody is home or it's raining.

It sucks that your package was stolen, and even more that you'll be out $ for theft...

That's another channel that she watches. (I watch it with her)

I take naps frequently. I am a salesman, and I may drive 200 miles before 8:00 and 200 more after 5:00. If I start getting tired, I pull off and catch a 15 minute nap. If I am not taking a purchasing agent out to lunch, I've been known to grab a drive through burger and sit in a rest area and grab 45 minutes.

If you are looking for a box mod, in most circumstances, you can't go wrong with either an MVP or a VTR, and the cost dependent on where you get. I wouldn't go for the 20 Watt MVP. But the original MVP and the VTR are pretty heavy duty. I'm an absolute klutz. I'm not shy about the fact that I have problems with my hands and sometimes have a hard time keeping a hold of things. I dropped both of them about a zillion times. Literally, the only thing that went wrong (other than sometimes, if I dropped it just right, it would somehow trigger the battery door on the VTR to pop open) is the last time I dropped the VTR, it bent what is basically an extender, so you don't have to put your tank down in the side of the VTR, and it's also where the ego threaded tanks hook up to. The thing about the MVP is where the trigger is located. It's smack dab in the middle of of the front face, so you have to use your thumb, and it takes more pressure to trigger than regular round batteries. And, well, there is the draw back that you have to charge it, but you have the Spinner to use while that's going on, and it takes no more than two or three hours, if I recall. The VTR has a side trigger button, so you would naturally use your finger. It's stiffer than other mods, but not nearly as stiff as the MVP. But you'll pay more for the VTR, and once you put a tank on a VTR, it weighs in at a full pound. The MVP is heavier than "non-box" mods, but still I'd say nearly half the weight of the VTR.

Anyway, I've dropped both my MVP and VTR on pavement and not had problems with it - I've broken one tank and cracked another in drops, but the devices themselves were fine (AND broken a good drip tip in the process as well). They still function well. I replaced the MVP with the VTR, and replaced the VTR with my current Sigelei Zmax V5 only because of the trigger thumb and finger(s) problem I have in my left hand now, making it more difficult for me hold a box mod (and sometimes more painful to hold it as well).

I have been doing it all afternoon. My football season was over last week. My wife has been watching the Lifetime channel, and Forensic Files to make sure she gets away with my future murder (J/K). I have been drifting in and out of a nap all day!

This is not an "I told you so" but we hear about things like this from people who bought hardware from eBay quite often. That's why we never recommend eBay as a vendor for e-cigarettes.

spydre reacted to Compenstine in How can you tell if a juice is too old to use?
Yes, how it is stored is is the biggest factor in it going bad. I have some Juice that I had when my B&M open 5 years ago and most of it still tastes fine. I have had a couple that were not so good and taste was the only way of telling. It did not taste rancid just not so good. So long as you keep it in a cool dark place capped, it should be fine for at least 1 year or longer. If it tastes funny, dump it.

Having said that, I have had juice go bad in a matter of days that was left out in my car during the summer. Heat is a juice killer.

You've just guaranteed I won't ever smoke a US made analog again. A friend from Norway says evidently the cigarettes are more "pure" over there, very few additives, if any, and very low addiction rate. The lung cancer rates are incredibly low in Norway - and this friend generally manages to make it through a day smoking very few cigarettes (like, half a pack is excessive smoking for him).

I can say the main reason I went with the VTR over the SVD was the single button adjustment, instead of having to hold down two buttons.

No you cant blame them for shooting any angle they can, I would lol. I still cannot get over the transformation of the VT store. I mean when I first came to the forum it was little more than a side bar if I am being 100% honest and now you have basically everything I use cheaper than I have been paying anywhere else. Kudos my man!

    EDIT: Thursday July 1st

    Good Afternoon Folks,

It would seem there is still some confusion so I'm update this post. New members freshly signed up on the board will have restricted access until their post count reaches 3. This has been put in place to help us limit spam and trolling to a few specific areas.

As a new member you will be limited to the following areas:

Introduce Yourself Sub Forum New Members Sub Forum Premium Supplier Sub Forums (Located on the home page)
The easiest way to raise your post count is to visit the intro area and say hello. On your 4th post the system will automatically place you into the regular VT members group at which point you'll have normal unrestricted posting rights on the forum.

Please do not PM a staff member asking were to post, were the into area is or where the "new topic" button is. There are thousands of active members on the forum that took the time to briefly learn the software (which is very easy to use). You'll get the hang of it in no time!

    Spiced Apple (Signature Flavor)

    12 mg

This flavor was absolutely on par with the Apple Cider. Truthfully, if I had to choose (and I do, I can't get them BOTH), I would choose the Apple Cider, but the Spiced Apple was wonderful, too. Same presentation in the bottle, and the taste lingers in your mouth a bit, and for me, at least, the taste made my mouth water, and made me hungry.
