I couldnt agree more with this Chris. It is a disturbing trend to see some of the questions that are asked. I do not chime in because I have vaped for about a year and a half now and never even considered anything I have to build or rebuild because its not in my forte' of skills lol. It really should be an activity practiced by the top few % of vapers that have an honest and true understanding of it.

Like I have said many times, the misuse of Mechs and batteries by noobs not ready for advanced PVs are in my opinion the single biggest threat to the future legality of vaping.

Went ahead and ordered another 50w. Now in the next 24 hours I will probably get a 20% off equipment email from Sweet-Vapes lol. Just concerned about the safety with the one malfunctioning. Think I will just take it out of the rotation and dispose of it properly. Never really liked the blue one anyway haha.

New base problem solved!

Well most know I am a one flavor guy for the most part. For approaching 3 years I have used Endless Summer in 18mg from Fuzion exclusively. I can't put my finger on it but almost every other flavor I have tried has some sort of aftertaste I find unpalatable. Because it is a "no pg added" liquid it creates a lot of vapor so in stealth vaping situations I keep a tank of a mix Comp at Fadora made for my wife that is a peppermint in 24mg and 80%pg because I can dip into a bathroom or even outside at times and be satisfied with a couple pulls. Even at work at times I hold my ADV in to dissipate before exhaling. I am one of those that doesn't care about the vapor production it's the flavor and nicotine I am after.
In the beginning I probably tried over a hundred flavors but never tasted anything I like even close to half as much as my ADV I use pretty much exclusively and now order it 480ml at a time after working out a bulk discount with Fuzion lol.

Actually it is not exactly your right to vape where you want. It is most definitely illegal to vape on about every US airline and I am seeing "No E-Cig" signs popping up everywhere. People that think they can vape anywher without ramifications willl continue to cause restrictions to be enhanced. I vape everywhere I can but if in question I ask. I do not have a bigger pet peeve, other than maybe cloud contests, than vapers especially subohm cloud blowers thinking they can fog up everywhere they go. In restaurants I excuse myself to the bathroom if I need a few draws unless it is openly allowed. I vape all day and low my employees to do the same at the businesses I run, in my car, home and almost anywher outside regardless but in stores, restaurants and other indoor public places I try to be discreet.
A modicum of discretion will go a long way to help instead of hurt our cause. 

Finally got in my coils (only had 4 to start and have 5 tanks in rotation) and went to fill my wifes tank and the weirdest thing happened. Even though the tank had the extra 6mm piece that allows use of the BVC and BDC is on it the coil flooded it immediately. I thought I did something wrong and did it again after cleaning everything with the same result. Then I pulled out one of my newer ones and the base that the coil screws into, not the extra ring, is different. The hole is bigger and the coil sits too far down into it allowing it to flood at the top. Apparently I have two like that that will go into the "rainy day" box and will be replaced in 3-4 days lol.
Since they are only $7.55 right now I ordered 4 more so I have the updated bases lol. It just seems weird the tank would have the extra piece but a different base.
 
I am amazed I have been on the same coil and tank for a week now and the coil still tastes brand new and still reads exactly 1.6ohms as it is supposed to. I am converted, no more single coils for me unless a backup situation arises. I have enough left to put a box everywhere I frequent (work, boat, home, cars etc...) and not worry about backups.

Cool I didnt know if you were subbing or not. I am happy with the vapor my KPT coils put out and often would not mind a little less lol so I wondered if that was what you meant. My office gets fogged up pretty good at work as it is. I have ready the BVC advantage over the KPT coils is in the taste category which is what I am looking for. After over two years vaping the same flavor I need a change but cannot find any other flavor I like. Hoping this refreshes my taste a little.

All of mine are the kind with the extra ring on the base. Funny thing is it says you have to remove the extra piece to use KPT single coils in it and I have never done that and it worked just fine lol. Once I removed the ring it almost tastes funny, definitely different than with the extra part. I am living proof you do nto have to remove the extra ring to use KPT single coils I have done so for a long time lol.
I think I will prime so I do not burn the cotton. I am used to silica where it does not matter.

I am down to checking the forum about once a week and I can keep up but the mobile has issues and that is about all I use unless at work and bored (like now). It just runs so slow I usually abandon ship and look at other things when I am having my personal porcelain throne morning alone time lol. The PC version has always been better but I think this mobile version is not that great but I am not on often enough anymore to get used to it.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the tank section is plastic... so that rules it out for me to even consider.

I cannot speak as to the tact you used to convey your message but this specific post I couldn't agree with more. I see cloud chasing competitions and all the pushing the limits of equipment overall as the biggest single threat to our continued freedom to vape as we want. It's a lot of the reason I post so much less than I used to because it's all you see anymore and instead of complain I abstain lol.

And I mean no insult by anything I said toward anyone but it's just how I feel and in no way directed at anyone. Right now we have our right to vape and you can do it any way you want but that could change quickly and things like competitions and cloud chasing highlight the small % of Vapers out there and take the focus off quitting smoking cigarettes imo.

I don't have a huge problem with them being taxed but states that pass laws making it illegal to vape (or smoke for that matter) in open outside areas are places I do not care to visit.

You could not get me to move to NY or Cali if you quadrupled my salary and gave me 3 months off a year.

Nanny states never let facts get in the way of their attempts to control what we do. Just happy I was born and live where I do.

My father in law is a dentist on the board at UT Dental School and he said it was one of the best decisions I ever made for my teeth. The heat from analog smoke is far higher than the heat from an e-cig and it bakes tartar and plaque onto your teeth. There is no tar or discoloration with e-cigs. They are exponentially better for your dental health than analogs.

I hate when doctors and dentists tell you how bad something is for you... when in truth, there have NOT been any significant studies on vaping and tooth health!!
My dentist couldn't be happier that I stated vaping...  In the past 18-months, I've had check-ups as good as when I was in my early teens (before I found chocolate, cola, and smoking). 
Tobacco stains teeth, as well as does damage to gums and tooth enamel.  Vaping?  Well, PG is a main component in mouthwash and toothpaste (as well as the majority of hygiene and medicinal products you use daily)... VG is a sweetener approved by the American Diabetes Association, as well as the American Dental Association because VG is less harmful to tooth enamel and gums (and does not affect blood-sugar levels in diabetics)... so... any dentist that tells you vaping is "bad on teeth" is fear-mongering at worst, or just horribly misinformed at best.  An "educated professional" should never pass opinion or hear-say as fact...
