Has anyone had any experience with these set ups? If so what are the pros and cons. I would like three of these beautiful kits but don't know how well they function. Any advice will be appreciated, including what is the best size coils fit. Thanks ahead for your advice.

I have been using Protank 3s and Aerotanks for a very long time but I have not had to buy coils for a year because I ordered a large supply a year ago. Now I don't know if there are new and improved coils or just the same thing. Also, the place I use to buy them have gone out of business so any advice of a good cheap and trust worthy site to order from. Also please suggest what coils work best for you. Thank you in advance.

My favorite tank to use with the iStick 50W is the Aspire Triton 2. I have seven of them, four in rotation. They also have a mini version but I like the bigger tanks (about the size of a regular Pro Tank 3) because I don't have to fill them as often. There are smaller box mods out there, I prefer having the longer battery life of the 4400 mAh size. If you figure how long your Spinner 2s last at 1600 mAh, think how much longer a 4400 mAh battery would last.
Right now, on one of my iStick 50W, I have a Kanger Pro Tank 3 on it with a 1.8 ohm coil and it works just fine at 8.0W of power. These days I now prefer to use by wattage instead of volts that I was used to with the Spinners. I've also used Kanger Pro Tank 3 minis with the eGo adapter on it with no problems.
I get the wraps from ebay. Although I never recommend buying hardware from eBay, I have no problem with wraps as they're just little things that wrap around the battery. Nearly all of my iStick 50W are black with different colored wraps on them. Mightyskinsdecals1 is the vendor I use.
    http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=iStick+50W+wraps+skins&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR3.TRC2.A0.H0.XiStick+50W+skins.TRS0&_nkw=iStick+50W+skins&_sacat=0
There's the link for the search. You can scroll through to find what you like. Just keep in mind that once you put the wrap on, you can't really just take it off and change it without stretching the wrap, they're only good for one time use.
As for the battery, I've purchased nearly all of mine from MyVaporStore at $34.95 each. I've gotten great customer service and their price for the 50W is about the lowest I've found.
The second from the right has the Kanger Pro Tank 3 on it.

Thank you Tam. That is one thing I did not think to do. I could be screwing it in too tight but then again like I said I have had trouble with that whole shipment and that included the coils, tanks and batteries. Those coils are a little leaky so that would be the problem too.
Hey Earthling. Thanks for the advice and I will try your suggestion. That's why I always come to you Pros. You've probably been there and done that and even if you haven't like Tam you still have the mindset to figure this stuff out. I will let yall know if this works.

    Hi Patricia

sounds like your coil pin is stuck in the center of the internal threads of the spinner.  Since the pin is not threaded,  it's probably just jammed in there. And probably has a little juice in there making it sticky.  That's a tough one.  You might try swabbing it to clean it as much as possible.  Then try inverting the spinner and working it with a needle.   You could also try using a can of compressed air like they use to clean computer or electronic components and see if that will knock it out.
    good luck.

From your description, it sounds like the center pin of the coil came out of the bottom of the PT3 base and stuck in the top of the battery.  It may have arced and welded itself to the battery top, or possibly some sticky juice just has it held to the battery's top pin.  Tam's suggestion of putting it in the freezer will work if it's wedged, but putting a little alcohol (rubbing or drinking) into a small medicine cup (about 1/4 inch of alcohol) and inverting the battery into the liquid to soak will break loose any of the sticky juice residue.  Soak it for 20-30 minutes and it should be able to be removed with tweezers or needle-nose pliers.  If it arced and welded the pin to the battery top... breaking it free may require brute-force

Hi Patricia. Try putting the batteries into the freezer for about 10 minutes or so. Then, use something rubbery like a thick rubber band, put that over the top of the coil left inside the battery, use a small flat head screw driver to push against the piece left inside while trying to unscrew it. Once you get some movement, you don't have to push against it so hard and you can continue to unscrew the piece out. What you're trying to do is to break the screw loose at first.
Are you screwing your tank on too tight? I've never had this happen before so I'm curious about the cause.
Anyway, I hope it works for you!

    Hello All,
I have been stuffing all my equipment in one drawer and my liquids in another for years. This being more then a 3 year hobby I have collected quite the collection so I found this online and HAD to get it. I knew when Karen, the young lady who does this work, asked me for all of my measurements that this organizer is going to be exactly what I was looking for. The picture that is full of equipment and juice is the one on the web site front page and she said she made that one for her brother. I told her that I wanted one just like it except I needed one that sits on my desk instead of hanging on the wall (like her brothers does). She says you tell her how you want it and she will make it just like you want it, And can you believe it is only $45.00?

I don't think Kanger will stop making the KPT2 and 3 for quite some time, they are too popular, but I suppose some retailers might stop selling them. There is probably a smaller profit margin in them compared to all the different subtanks that are on the market, and that's what a lot of retailers look at, the bottom dollar is what counts. I use mostly my subtank minis but I also use my KPT2 everyday usually when I watch TV or on the internet, I don't need big clouds blocking my view.

The KPT2 is the VW bug of the vape world.

When it comes to a "standard" tank, I do love my AeroTanks (V1 and V2).  You can get the colored glass for them... Sweet-Vapes is where I bought my last smoke-colored glass for mine, and they had a rainbow available (at the time).  The AeroTanks, KPT2, and KPT3 all use the same (size) glass section.  I prefer the air-flow controller of the AT-V2 better than the V1, but both work very well, and both use the Kanger dual-coils (BDC) which are available in resistance from 0.8 Ohms up to 2.0 Ohms.
The KPT2 (single-coil) can also use the Aerotank air-flow bases, so for $3-4 you can change your KPT2 or Davide tanks into Aerotanks, and still use the cheaper single coils.
The Nautilus and Nautilus mini are good (although I'm not a huge fan, mostly due to the price and how fragile they are), and you get good flavor from them without going sub-ohm.  BUT, the Nautilus, to my knowledge, does not have colorful glass available.
The sub-tank mini and nano are available in colors (black, white, pink, and more are coming), and you can get coils for them up to 1.5 Ohm??  ( I can't remember off-hand, sorry).
But, for me, the price, reliability, and function of the KPT2 (with air-flow controller) or the AeroTanks cannot be beat... when you're talking about a basic tank.

That's a good idea Earthling. I have a bottle of nicotine and I can just add amount needed to each bottle. The person who gave me the nic sent instructions on how much to add. I just need to order me a marked syringe, Thanks for the advice.

There are a couple of great flavors I found a last fall, which were only in 3 or 6 mg, because they were marketed as "dripping juices" (max VG). I asked if they would make a 12 mg, but they declined... So, I thinned them a bit with PG based Nicotine and they worked out very well in a tank. Might be something to consider?

I recently tried ANML's "Looper". I was skeptical at first because I ate a lot of fruit loops as a child, but this flavor is amazing! It even finishes with the sugary coating on the fruit loops. It's a spot-on recreation, in my book.

Thanks comp. I have had 2 of those and they lasted about a year. I drag them around with me everywhere. I found one on Etsy that is very nice and large. It was featured in Vape magazine. Looks like just what I need. Expensive but made of leather so I believe it will last all my abuse.
