    Hello All,
I have learned if I can hold off until holidays I could get juice and equipment a lot cheaper. So, if Admin does not mind I thought it would be cool if we start posting sales that you come across here. I know the places I shop, always online, send me emails if they are having a sale so when I see them I will pass the information over to yall through this post and I will appreciate it if you do the same. This way everybody can save. HAPPY EARLY HALLOWEEN!!

As far as I could tell, it looks like those coils fit only the Horizon arctic tank.  A search showed that I couldn't find any other tank they are compatible with.

Agreed.  I think the Horizon Arctic is the only tank that uses the Arctic coils.  I have tried them in my Herakles and Silo Beast with no luck.
If you happen to have any Atlantis coils in that "save for when you need it drawer", those will work in a lot of tanks.

Thank you. From what I understand the Sub ohm is causing the heat that is burning my lips so your post is very helpful. And if everyone is saying that the starre pure is one of the best flavor tanks of 2016 I've definitely got to give that one a try because that is what is more important to me, flavor. I like clouds but without flavor I might as well be vaping air. Thanks again.

if you hate sub ohm vape, recommend the flavor atomizer.
freemax starre pure and smok brit mini will be good options..

Patricia, personally, I've never had the problem with burnt lips with a SINGLE coil unless I was sub ohm, so I would stick to above 1 resistance, kanthal (nickel can't be used in wattage mode anyway, I don't know about nichrome - which is part nickel - or ceramic, and Clapton is usually sub ohm as well, from what I've seen?
Now, with dual coils I have gotten the burnt lips much earlier.  That's the thing about the Nautilus tank that I liked, it was bottom vertical coils rather than being dual coil.  For me, it was all the power, none of the problems.
    Good luck.

Hi folks, I've been vaping for over a decade now, but I'm a very off-the-scene kind of vaper. I find a reliable solution and stick with it until I can't anymore. So I'm hoping the more active people can help me out in this new era.
For the moment I'm using Vision Spinner and eGo CTwist batteries, along with 510 e-Smart clear-tanks. For perspective, I bought 6 Spinners and 6 CTwists 18 months ago. Amazingly, I'm still using 4 of the 6 Spinners with no performance problems and haven't touched the CTwists yet. I'm perfectly content to stick with these batteries as long as I can find them, but any alternate recommendations are welcome.
However I'm looking for a better tank or all-in-one solution. The e-Smart tanks work alright for me, but they are not easy to fill using the squeeze bottles that I mix my liquid into. Using a bottle with a skinnier tip would make it easier, but 100% VG liquids don't work well with small tips.
Moreover, I'm looking to help put together a new solution for my grandmother. ecigs helped her quit smoking and now she vapes with the best of them. But she has no idea about hardware, and has mild Parkinson's, which would make it nearly impossible for her to fill ANY tank. She's been using cartomizers and nothing else.
So my primary concern here is finding a modern solution for Gma that is 1) reliable, long-lasting, and very low maintenance, 2) good battery life, 3) safe (battery and e-liquid safety), and 4) is extremely easy to fill, or uses some sort of pre-filled container.
Any leads to types, brands, models is very appreciated. I can always do more research once I find a general form-factor that is suitable. But the vast array of hardware out there is a bit overwhelming.
Thanks a lot for your time and input,
    == Matt

Short explanation based on how my Fuchai 213 works.  (My only other temp control mod is the iPV 4 and I stopped using it in TC a while back.)
The watt setting basically controls how fast your coil ramps up to the preferred temp.  Once whatever TC capable coil you are using reaches the desired temp, it will pulse to maintain that temp.  I still primarily vape in VV/VW setting, but there are a few juices I really like in TC mode.  Basically, I can set the wattage a little higher to get to that desired temp a little faster.  The Fuchais also have a sort of "burst mode" where you can set it to 100w, for example, for a fraction of a second, then it will drop back down to whatever your regular set wattage is and ramp up to temp.  Make sense?  I hope so, because I just confused the hell out of myself.
I also agree with @Earthling789in that flavor is better with SS coils than with Ni200.  I briefly tried Ti coils, but quickly went away from them.

Chris... I've gone from cigalikes to eGos with KPT3 mins... to KPT2 to Aerotanks... box mods like the MVP 2.0, mechanicals, micro boxes, high power, TC... big tanks, small tanks, sub-ohm... you name it... and I must say, I prefer my Kanger Subtank minis with 1.2 Ohm coils... flavor is great and vapor is respectable (but not room filling like my RDA's were).  So, if you're looking for flavor, I'd give a ST mini a try!
As for mods... I LOVE my Wismec Presa 75WTC (and the 100WTC is slightly bigger if you want more grip).  The Wismec RX200s is a bit bulky, but I can go 3 days or more without swapping batteries... but I rarely go above 20W, with 16-17W being my average for my ADV.
I've tried TC... and it's better with SS coils (flavor-wise)... Ni200 coils just taste funny to me, even after they're broken-in, and they don't seem to last as long as SS (in TC mode) or Kanthal/Nichrome in Wattage-mode.  Yes, TC seems hard to master... but you set the temp low, just like you would for Wattage and slowly go up to find your sweet-spot... upping the Wattage only speeds up the ramp-up time to hit the temp, but if Watts are too low, you'll never hit your temperature limit, and if your Watts are too high, the screen goes nuts as it pulses power off/on to prevent over-kill of Wattage-to-temp, so you do have to play a balancing game.
These days my daily rigs are Wismec Presa 75W with Subtank mini, Cloupor Mini-plus with Subtank mini, Kanger 50W subbox kit (subtank mini), RX200s with Subtank mini, Subvod 1300mAh (or Cloupor mini) with Subtank Nano or Aerotank2 (used when riding my motorcycle or working in the yard/garage), and lastly my beloved Russian 91% mounted on a Cloupor mini or IPV mini.  My coil choice is 1.2 Ohm (horizontal) for the subtanks, and 1.2 or 1.5 Ohm BDC for the Aerotanks... and I build my Russians to hit 1.2 or 1.4 Ohm as well.  All of these rigs produce great flavor and enough vapor to know I'm getting a fulfilling mouth/lung-full, and can easily require cracking the window in my car/truck so I can see to drive   I have plenty of other tanks and mods, but those are my daily-drivers.... and yes, I also use smaller-bore drip-tips... like the (bore) size of the Kayfun V4...
My fiance' rotates two Nautilus (1.6 Ohm coil) and a Triton (1.8 Ohm coil) on her mods (Wismec Presa 40W, Sigelei 50W, and Cloupor mini)... and she has a major preference to the Nautilus (she'd kill me in my sleep if I took them away from her, lol)!  She only uses the Triton in the house, and she's not fond of my subtank minis   She also has an eGo 1100mAh with a KPT3 mini (filled with chocolate mint) in the bathroom, which she vapes every morning while getting ready for work, lol

OK Tam I know I am seriously behind times but would you please break down what all the initials stand for and what the difference is please? And since you know my likes so well which do you think I should invest in next? Thank you. And Christopher thank you for asking that question. Its a great way to see what is the best on the shelves right now.
I've seen the wide Bore tips online but how do they vape differently then regular tips?

How the hell does temp control work? I mean, if you lower the temp but up the watts aren't you sort of fighting one against the other?

That's the beauty of TC these days. There are a ton of "screw on the coil and go" options in nickel and SS out there now.

And if you want flavor, watch my review of the baby beast again. AWESOME flavor. AWESOME clouds. The best of both worlds [emoji6]

Sent from my heart using the Vapor Talk App. OK...OK...I'm kidding. I have no heart. But I did use the Vapor Talk Mobile App.

    Whhhat's up Vapor Talkers
The founder needs some schooling. I'm feeling like an upgrade. I'm using the Nautilus Tank and I could sit here and open boxes all day, or I can see what the rest of you are using. I took a hit off the Cleito this afternoon my sister in law was using, not bad! (I hate the wide bore tips though) Once I burn through some of these BVC coils, I'm going to jump ship to another daily driver. I love my Nautilus, (I almost never get a dry hit from it) but eh... I just feel it's not pumping out as much vapor as it could/should. (Anything passed 12w and it gets a bit burnt)
I was sitting in traffic on the 15 today watching some dude ripping clouds. I thought, I run a huge forum and I'm hitting my 40w with a natti  Time to step it up and shop my own store.
So, what are you all rocking (Coil based) Humbly awaiting your advice

For the SSOCC coils...  I prefer 1.2 Ohm, which are Nichrome (as well as the 1.5 Ohm coils), and never had any issue with burnt lips, even with higher Wattage and/or short drip-tip.  The SS versions (with pink o-rings) are really good for Temp-control, but not great for Wattage-mode.  I prefer SS for TC, over Ni200 coils.  The Claptons are meh... again, my opinion, lol

Yes, the kits are the Subbox mini kit (sorry for the confusion) found HERE... for $29.95, so they've gone up a buck or two since I bought my last one.  They are really good kits for the price, and the reason they've gone down in cost is because of the higher power 75W, 100W, etc. kits that are out now, as well as the top-fill versions (Toptank mini and Topbox kits).  I have them in all colors, and two of the white ones.  The toptank kits are similarly priced, and they also have them in TC version with the 75W mod for a few bucks more... but if you're only looking for a VW mod/tank combo that works... the subbox kit is the one I'd suggest.
I personally prefer the 1.2 Ohm coils... good vapor and flavor without being "hot", and most of my juices like 12-20W of power, so you don't run down a 2500mAh battery every few hours... actually, I get about a day out of one before having to swap-out.  You may like the 1.5 Ohm coils?  The 0.5 Ohm are okay, but to me, they wear out fast and are a bit too hot for my juices... I like flavor, not heat, lol
I've been using one of these kits since they came out over a year ago, and my original one is a little banged and scratched, but still works great!  I've been using the subtank minis (have 10 minis, and 2 nanos) as my daily-drivers for well over a year now, and if I didn't trust or like them, I'd not have over 200 coils for them, waiting their turn in a box   My ONLY issue with the 50W mod is that you cannot lock the screen/buttons... so you can accidentally up/down the Wattage if you're not paying attention.  Other than that caveat, they're a winner in my book.
The Triton minis are nothing more than a 3ml top-fill Nautilus... they use the same coils as the full-size and original mini Nautilus... they just have more airflow than the original Nautilus (but not a lot more).  The full-size Triton2 is a better tank, uses better coils, and has way more airflow and capacity (5ml).  I'm not sure why they named the Triton mini after the Triton... it's a top-fill Nautilus mini (not a smaller Triton)... nothing more...
Patricia, it just dawned on me... you have subvod kits... so you've been using the younger brother to the Subtank mini already... the Subvods come with Subtank NANO tanks, which are a 1.9ml version of the Subtank Mini, and uses the SAME style SSOCC or OCC coils.  They will even work with the RBA decks that are sold separately (or come with the subtank minis), but you lose some capacity if you use the RBA.
Yes, the Protanks and Aerotanks will work on the battery that came with your Subvod kits... I have used my Aerotanks on my subvod battery several times.  Just like any eGo-style battery, the center pin may be pushed down, preventing contact?  Turn it off (5-clicks), then pry the center pin up a bit with a flat-head screwdriver or similar device.  I'm guessing the reason they're not working on your batteries is that the subtank nano and Melo tanks have a slightly longer 510 connection and have pushed the pin down on the battery

If you liked the Protanks and Aerotanks, I'll assume you will also like the Protank 4 or the Subtank Mini.  Like Tam, I do like the Triton2, but I like the Subtank mini a bit more because they have more coil options!  And, they have a top-fill version (like the Triton1 and 2), which is called the TopTank Mini.  The Protank 4 is also a top-fill tank.  I like a 1.2 Ohm coil, so while I like the Triton2 design and size, if I want a 1.2 Ohm coil, I have to build one on the RBA deck   Also, the Kanger coils are usually a bit cheaper and last well beyond 30ml of juice before they need changing.  Occasionally, I'll get a coil to last through 60ml of a lighter, no-so-sweet, juice
The Triton2 and Subtank mini variants work better, in my opinion, on a VW battery-device, so you can fine-tune the power for the best vape according to your juice, but you can use them on a static-voltage battery (like an eGo) just fine.  These tanks are larger than your KPT2's and Aerotanks (18mm)... The Tritons and Subtanks are 22 or 23mm, but also hold 3.5-5.0ml of juice, rather than 2.5ml.

I have 2 Cubis tanks that I love. 👍 No leaks, Sub ohm (.5 or .6) or 1.0 ohm coils. I use them on my Evic VT mini and my Sigelei mini 30W. I've not tried the Cubis Pro.
Just don't fall for the RBA head for the Cubis. It's so tiny that's it's nearly impossible to rebuild. 😡 So I don't!

I'm a big fan of the Aspire Triton 2 with 1.8 ohm coils. I can up the wattage without getting hot vapor (which I really don't like), and it gives me lots of vapor and flavor. They have a little learning curve, but I now have ten sitting around with three in rotation.  😅

I don't know anything about a Provari, so can't be much help there, but I do know about the subtank nano, I use them every day almost, the only time they leak on me is when I leave them in a hot car. Other than the hot car thing, my nano tanks don't leak. I use a 30PG/70VG mix so that might be why they don't leak, maybe with a thinner juice they might leak.

Thank you for the reply sugar. I guess not too many people have tried them out. I saw one at a friends house and it just looked very interesting, especially since I am still in the Protanks and Aerotanks. I do not know what MTL stands for but I do love a direct lung hit. I bought some coils too and they were 90 cent a piece. I hope that means they last longer then the ones I have been using for the Protanks and Aerotanks. I tried the clone first and if I like it I will go for more. Thanks again for responding. Have a great weekend.
