I couldn't vape less than 24mg for about a month or I'd be climbing the walls. Then I braved throwing in some 18mg once in a while. 3 months later, 24mg tastes strong to me. I only vape a few hits of it before dropping to 18mg or lower. I have 3 clearos with 6 now i rotate during the day with 18 if I need it. I can totally see myself with very little nic in a couple months.

Prepare to be more amazed. You'll probably start feeling better in short order. Smokers are going to start smelling funny to you, lol. I wish great success to you and your wife. It's so worth it. Keep reading and learning. There is more to discover and even greater satisfaction not to mention cost savings.

Well there's good news..... After a few adjustments, mainly smaller hits and a little break in period he's doing fine. He thinks it was just the initial abrupt change from smoke to vape. After playing with it on his own it took him a couple of days to get it going. The other day he just showed up happily vaping away like it was nothing. I'm glad he just kept going. Now he's doing fine and is on the hunt for his favorite juice, lol. All is good...

It's mostly about location for me. I'm never discreet when it's not warranted. Outside a pub in public no problem.

I'm only discreet where I think I will be interrupted unnecessarily. It's not about conflict avoidance. It's about not wanting to be sidetracked or slowed down from doing what I'm doing at the time. I don't want to be asked to leave a movie theater nor have to explain what I'm doing or defend myself during the movie. I don't want to unnecessarily disturb or create a commotion with 60 other passengers on an airplane. I don't want to flaunt my e-cig in front of other parents and their kids at the park or zoo. I don't want security called on me at a street fair. There are lots of times when it's appropriate to be discreet.

    Hey Arnie

Yeah I was hoping to make it clear that i wasnt attacking you personally for your point if view but merely commenting in your awesome topic. I agree with many of your points and you make intelligent arguments. As pleasure vapirs leading a healthier lifestyle we simetimes forget there are moral issues with what we do and so therefore responsibilty increases with our choices.

I agree that people should be educated on the differences between vaping and smoking. But I'm not so sure that flaunting it to a wide general public, which is essentially promoting it, is good idea, IMO

I, personally, would only recommend vaping to someone as an alternative to getting off analogs. I would not encourage anyone to take up vaping who isn't already a smoker. As much as I love vaping and am so happy to be off the analogs, I don't think advertising it or flaunting it to a non smoking public is the way to go. I'm not saying we have to hide it or be ashamed of it. But it is primarily a drug delivery system. I just think I'd rather not push it on others. Educate them where needed. No doubt, it's healthier than smoking. But there is a difference between "healthier than" and something being healthy. I personally cannot call vaping "healthy" and therefore promote it as such. Promote it to smokers, sure. Promote to the general public, not the best idea IMO.

I am commenting on your topic Arnie

Buster is man's best friend. If you hug him, he wont let you stop. If you sit on the couch, he has this way of creeping in to your lap really slowly like you wont notice he's doing anything. Lol

Ladies and gentlemen, stand back. This could be ugly.

So last week i bought an octopus RDA. I know its one of the cheaper no frills RDAs and I vaped the heck out of it for a week. As is typical, I got bored, took it all apart, trimmed the wick, staightened the wire out, rewrapped the coil, put it all back together and it fired up and worked like new.

The mad scientist in me (he lives very close to the surface, btw) did some poking around and I have now decided to rebuild it in the bunny cottontale configuration. Why, you ask? Because I can!

Anyway, Ive decided to do some shopping for a basic mad scientist starter lab. I would love your input on some basic tools and supplies that I'll be wanting. Keeping in mind that I would like to have a little stock of silica, nichrome wire etc.. think of it like jr mad scientist starter kit.

    Tips? Suggestions?

I agree with this. Sounds like you need to go to a set up where you can customize your juice mixture. You may have sensitivity to pg. You can use a juice with a higher vg content but keep the nicotine up and that may work for you.

Thanks for posting this, Uma. I have a T3 that goes totally unused because it's leaked straight out of the box and I'm sure this is why.

Come to think of it, I have a T2 that floods easily. Haven't had that problem with them usually, but adding a flavor wick might fix that one.

The video is a little long, but I liked that it was a good over view of the construction of the Kanger Clearomizer, using a 4-40 machine screw for forming a coil is brilliant, and adding a flavor wick to minimize leaking and flooding through coil is also cool. I learned a lot from this video.
