Well just thought I'd note it because I bought 2 from another site for $8 something. :-P. That's alright though I was kinda jonesing for some new stuff. 'Course I also bought 2 bridgeless 510 atomizers and a couple more drip tips. And now Rixters got me thinking about that $25 atomizer.....

    Frustrating, isnt it?

Best success is if you have a local shop with a tasting bar. Can't beat it. You'll pay a little more but you take home and vape what you like.

Next is getting recommends here. There are 1/2 dozen well thouggt of juice vendors mentioned.

However- and this is a BIG however - taste is SO subjective that you cant really fault a reputable vendor. A few will let you send juice back. Most will do small samples packs for discount. I have seen someone rave about how great a juice was - and i got that juice and hated it. You takes your chances for sure

You can definitely establish a relationship with a vendor. They can be helpful but they are limited in what they provide. Adjectives like "sweet" and "bitter" probably vary with each individual.

As a general rule stay away from cheap juice. You get what you pay for. I have a local vendor I pay $13 - $16 for 15ml. But I vape the bottle dry. Most on line is hit or miss. Ive had best luck with vape dudes and sweet-vapes.

Believe me. I have my share of unused juices. It's part of the deal.

If you like sweet juices look for vendors that carry the following juice makers:

    Lush Vapor
    The Vaping Monkey
    Uncle Junks

I would bet your body would absorb the coloring ok. You might have "purple lung" for a while. Remember eating those blue popsicles and how your tongue would be blue for a while? I wouldn't get a chest x-ray after vaping grape. Might freak the doctor out

A lot of juice makers use flavorings that contain food coloring.

I tend to stay away from juices that are colored but thats just me. I just dont like the idea of adding uneccessary stuff to my vape.

Plus, you may find the juice not staying that color.

My wife uses little stickies and abbreviates the names on her clearos. That works well.

I just grab and go, lol. And most of my juices are clear to amber. It is a little bother but not worth adding stuff to my vape

Tam found an awesome Vision VT clearo i cant wait to try out. One version is 2.8 ml and the big one is 5ml. Changeable coil and the tank is plastic. You can take both ends off it. She did a review yesterday. Check it out

The "snap, crackle, pop" when you trigger the battery is a good sign. That means its cooking the juice and giving you vapor. The gurgling is more something you would get when you draw on the mouthpiece. Its like when you're at the end of your soda thru a straw. That's a leak and that needs to be fixed before continuing to vape. Pull it apart. Blow thru the mouthpiece into a napkin. Dab up the juice. Dab the top of your battery and try it again.

But you mentioned the "snap crackle pop" diminishes as you vape. That tells me your vaping faster than the juice can wick. With the clearomizer you have (CE4 style), you may need to tip it to keep up juice flow.

Also, it is my opinion that I get the best performance from the ce4 with a low resistance coil (1.8 ohm).

You're probably going to start customizing your set up. You can pick juices that have a 60/40 pg/vg ratio. That should help juice flow. You can play around woth draw speed. How tou pull on the mouthpiece has a great deal to do with satisfying vapor. And dont be afraid to swap out coils. Thicker juices can gum up a coil pretty fast

If I were you I would drop the CE4 and go straight to the Kanger T2. You will definitely notice an improvement in performance. For now, play around with what you have. You'll learn a lot.

Your battery should have a "protect " mode. If the atomizer is shorted your battery would shut down. Happened to me a couple times. You just have to connect the battery to the charger briefly to reset. I had a battery that was fully charged and an atomizer that was brand new but had a short. The battery triggered. I reset it by connecting it to the charger for a few seconds. It reset and had a full charge. Originally I thought it was the battery because it wouldn't turn on after it faulted. I reset it and it was fine.

I have gotten a couple of bad atomizers right out of the box. And I've had a couple go bad very quickly.

I asked about pg/vg because I was taking a different tack with it. If the juice has higher vg or is all vg then it will be thicker and not wick very fast. That meaning you could be drawing faster than the wick is capable of wicking. That would lead to less vapor, less flavor, and more "dry hits". From your description of being able to take a few hits and then it changes it sounds like your getting dry hits and tasting more coil and wick instead of juice.

The other possibility is that it's leaking thru the center hole but you would get gurgling and the top of your battery would have juice on it which shorts out the connection between your battery and coil.

Just a couple of things to look for....

Great review/comparison. Very thorough with lots of great information.

I know Ive decided to stick with my T2s for now. Especially since it's the perfect portable set up for me.

I have recently tried out a couple of dripping systems that are great when I'm home relaxing.(it has now replaced my T2 as my "at home" set-up. Cant beat the flavor and vapor production). But, for ease of use its hard to beat the T2

Imagine your old cartridge perched atop your spinner. Pry off the little end cap. Pull out the stuffing/filler material which holds the juice. It's like a cotton blanket that is just holding all the juice in a pre filled cartridge. You yank all of that out. What you have left is a short tube at the bottom of which is a totally exposed coil in a little shallow "pan". Now take your juice say strawberry fields, and just drip 3 drops right on to the atomizer. Put a drip tip in place of the old cap. It's just press fit with a little o-ring. Fire up the battery and vape those 3 drips directly off the coil. You will get a couple/few hits of just pure direct vape then you will sense that its going dry, loss of vapor and taste. Pull the tip, drop 3 drops of spearmint now, enjoy the vape. Rinse and repeat. (Figurative)

    Advantages:

    1. Really good vapor production
    2. Change flavor on the fly
    3. Try out new flavors or mixes of your own flavors.
    4. Really great flavor
    5. In other configurations (other equipment) easy to rebuild coils

    Disadvantages:

    1. Can't do it while you're driving or anything else except maybe watching TV, lol
    2. Prone to a little bit of leaking
    3. Prone to flooding the coil
    4. More trouble than just filling a Clearomizer and taking off

This is just a basic dripping method. There are other dripping methods even more sophisticated that I have witnessed others do that produce TONS of flavor and true clouds. They require different gear and are superior, very low resistance, dual coil, etc...

Yes. Look at the difference in the threads between batteries. You will see that the airhole is slightly obstructed due to manufacturing differences. Not a prob.Sometimes you can back the battery off just a hair and increase airflow

okay. you're probably even more confused now laugh out loud.I'm going to try to make this as simple as possible.

You have an eGo T. that is a three-piece system. a battery, an atomizer, and a tank.

in your system, you will have to change the atomizer which is located just above the battery. your tank when you plug it in is essentially plugging into the atomizer. a cartomizer, it's a two piece system where the tank and the atomizer are in one unit.

dripping is a method that requires a different set up then you have.

If you are experiencing a burnt taste then likely you will have to change your advisor which you should have got in your kit it's a small round cylindrical piecethat fits just above your battery. in your system, you're atomizer should last you 1 or 2 weeks. you will normally have to change your atomizer once every couple of weeks.

its not that what you have been told in this thread is incorrect. there is just a lot there that is a bit much for a newbie to grasp. Read kitsunes post 4 links to figure out how to upgrade your system to a little better performance.

    Good luck!
