Have you checked them with an ohm meter? They might not be bad but just not making a connection.I have had to jiggle and wiggle the center post back out on a few atties and there were a few PV's that were notoriouse for pushing the connecter in,but I cannot remember which ones they were.Also if they get too much liquid in the space between the cup the element is in and the battery connector they will not work as the electrons take a shortcut through the liquid.Blowing them out solves that one.If you are using LR or high voltage they just might be burning out due to getting dry.

One thing to be aware of - just because it looks the same and is called the same it might not BE the same. As with many products, knock offs and imitation products exist. I am not saying every other site out there is selling knock offs, I am sure they are not. But I am equally as sure that some are.

I ordered my eGO back in January from the VT store on a Saturday afternoon. I received it on Monday via priority mail. The ship in 24 hours assurance is amazing in this industry. When it arrive a piece was missing - one email and I had a shipping notice for the missing piece within the hour.

In a recent internet interview I heard Christopher talk about why the VT store only sells juices that are pre-mixed and does not mix his own. The response impressed the heck out of me - the reason, that until he can have a clean room he will not mix his own. I can honestly say I hadn't thought too much about it before but it did get me thinking. I am ingesting these vaporized juices into my body - don't I want to know that the juices I buy are being prepared in a sanitary manner and not just mixed up in someone kitchen?

I guess what I am trying to say is that in an online world there is a lot of room for shady businesses and business practices. I trust the VT store, and its business practices, and for me at least if it means I pay a small premium (although I am not certain I am) I am willing to do that to protect myself and my well being.

One final note, there is another well known vendor that is quite popular - I prefer to not name them. I recently decided to order some bits from them. I pulled the order together and proceed to the checkout process only to notice that at the credit card page the all important httpS was not a secure page at all. This is basic online commerce in my eyes. I promptly closed the page and went elsewhere. Just a little heads up and reminder that in this budding industry it serves you well to use a bit of caution.

Been wondering that myself as I've started seeing the "D" more often. Maybe it's "disposable"? I've only seen it on cartomizers, not attomizers.

I get plenty of TH from other juices on my eGo. It's battery is far from weak.
Try an 80/20 blend on your juices that's 80pg/20vg. and you might really like the dekang I can use it but the throat hit is even a little strong for me. I like 70/30 much better.
I get no TH from vapor renu juices either.

Oh, and I should mention, when my husband is vaping his cherry cola I CAN smell it and while it is not smoke, I don't particularly care to smell it.....same with some other strong flavors, and vice versa....he can smell some of mine as well, and while it may not be smoke, someone may not want to smell it. BUT I don't want to smell perfume...it makes me sick to the point of vomiting. I can't use any scented soaps or perfumes at all.....but yet I am forced to breathe all the junk people spray and spread on their bodies. But like perfume, what is a pleasant or non offensive odor to some people can be totally offensive to another.

Anyway, I have a feeling that eventually it will be banned in public places too. In all likelihood SOMETHING is being exhaled....might be in SUPER minute, barely detectable levels, BUT I am SURE there is SOMEONE who would say they are allergic or bothered by something in it, and since it will be viewed as unnecessary and still feeding an addiction they will ban it. Since it can be used discreetly I choose to use it that way....NOT to accommodate idiots and grouchy people but to avoid a situation where it WILL be banned and not permitted at all. Since I can just not exhale or exhale in a way that is not readily visible to others, that is what I do.....to PROTECT my right to do it at all.

I just find it funny the things that ARE permitted to be used in public places that many people are allergic to and/or bothered by....like cleaning chemicals, perfumes, air fresheners and numerous other things.

First let me say I have never had that happen.....BUT I do not blow vapor in public. There is no reason to exhale, so I don't. I just swallow the vapor and no one has said a thing. I vape in Starbucks and anywhere else I am and so far only a few people have noticed, and it has all been positive responses. It was never my intent to get around no smoking laws and I see no reason to antagonize people.....BUT I also see no reason why I can't vape, since I am NOT smoking. We had to exhale smoke because you can't just keep it all inside you, but not the same with vapor, so I either just don't exhale it since I don't need to, especially not on a 3.7 volt device like an ego that doesn't produce all that much vapor to start with. But regardless, I either don't exhale or I exhale down, like into my chest or toward the floor. I haven't had any kind of problem at all in the year I have been vaping.

If you got it from cigeasy, it's probably for KR808D-1 cartomizers. Do you know what kind of cartomizers you have? If you know what kind you have, you can probably get an adapter. I'm assuming you have 510 cartomizers, so you'd need a 901/KR808 to 510 adapter.

Well, I have no doubt that as vaping becomes mainstream it will be banned indoors just like smoking. Unless there are some quality studies to show that no nic is being exhaled and that it's perfectly safe, it will be just like smoking. I'd much rather vape discretely and be left alone than to have someone cause a scene and be told I can't vape.

You may want to talk to the Starbucks manager and get permission to vape. Then next time anyone says anything all you have to do is say "I'm not smoking and I have permission from the manager to use this".

Be careful with that stuff. I have some 100mg but haven't used any of it yet. I had quite a bit of 48mg from Myfreedomsmokes.com and it's been great. Almost out of it now. Anyhow, when I break into the 100mg, I will mix it all down to 48mg in one sitting. Don't want to keep handling 100mg nic every time I mix. Be careful and safe with that stuff - it is dangerous.

I had to switch from an aluminum drip tip to a plastic one so I wouldn't burn my lips.

Sometimes I just can't get my fill of vaping. Sometimes I just don't want to wait for the battery and atty to cool down.

One option I just thought of would be to have two going at the same time, so while one cools, I can vape the other. But this makes it look like I have a problem. And I don't.

I like to keep the cone on as I've found, for me, it helps me control any leaking with an atty, so that option is out.

You all are a crafty bunch, so I though some of you might have thoughts, ideas, and various options to try. Tomorrow, thanks to Chris, I'm going to be putting a quarter on the bottom of my eGo to make it stand up better. So, see, I know you all are crafty. Bring it on... let's get the chain vapers into using more liquid!!!

First of all what flavors are you vaping and is it PG or VG based? I am not familiar with the smoke 51 so I don't know what kind of atomizer it has. The 510 that comes with the Ego produces a much warmer vape and will also add some kick to throat hit.

Try using liquids that are VG based. I would avoid using anything with menthol or a spicy/cinnamon flavor to it. Stick with standard resistance atomizers and cartomizers. The mg amount in liquid does affect throat hit and 6mg is pretty low.

If this doesn't work for you you may want to try using the 801/302 penstyle or a 901 atomizers. These atomizers produce a cooler vape and might help you with less throat hit. You can use these on your ego but will need a battery to atomizer adapter.

There are various types of tobacco flavorings you can buy. Honestly, I've tried several and I haven't found anything yet that really tasted like tobacco.

The tobacco concentrates are pretty strong and just a few drops p/10ml will be enough (I usually use 3-5 drops, but I use other flavorings as a base).

Nice Burn. I'll add that the Provari has a drip well so if you get a leak it won't run down the side and make a mess. If you get a leak with the Joker you have a mess before you know you have a leak. Some time today the provari is suppose to be available in two more colors... black and chrome. I like that the Provari only uses one battery.

I would go with the Provari. I have the Omega and the SB and a Joker, but haven't used either since I got my Provari.

I think all of that will come down to what vaping is ultimately defined as by the federal government once all of the smoke clears (maybe not the best choice of words here but oh well) from all of the court battles/appeals...

People who get nicotine inhalers from the doctor don't have to go outside to use it -- the way I see it, the only difference between their nicotine inhaler and my vapor cloud is that my cloud is visible. I'm certain that nicotine is exhaled from a person using a nicotine inhaler...

However, it wouldn't surprise me to see vaping banned indoors. After all, this is the same country where alcohol (which kills more people globally than AIDS or violence) is legal, yet smoking a joint gets you in trouble with the law. I do fear the power/influence of BigPharm and Big Tobacco more than anything, in regards to vaping.

Sounds like it may have gotten cross-threaded. Wait to see if anyone else has a bearer solution, but I would try unscrewing it with a pair of pliers. However, if it is cross threaded you may not be able to use the charger any more. If it works as is, may be best to leave it as is.

Nicotine strength in eliquid is in mg per ml. So 16mg is 16mg per each ml. Generally, you would get about 1mg from a cigarette. Given that, 1 ml of 16mg eliquid would equal about 16 cigarettes. However, there has not been any studies on how much nic your body absorbs from vaping and it's debated. You'll find that vaping is not like smoking and usage varies greatly from person to person. Many of us find that we tend to vape more often than we smoke. Personally, I vape all the time, because I can. I don't take vape breaks like I did when I smoked, so instead of taking a break every hour to have a cigarette, I vape a few puffs regularly. Others try to vape as if they were smoking. Just depends on what works for you.

For dripping, you normally will get 5-7 hits from 2-3 drops... again, this will vary. As for overdosing, just listen to your body. If you get a headache, or nausea, it's time to back off.
