You can note it was me who gave you the -1 for that post. My son reads VT forums with me at times and really doesn't need to see this.

I think there is some concern about what else "could" get in the juice. There are a lot of suppliers popping up and I doubt very many of them have sterile labs. You just don't know who they are or what the mixing conditions are. I think it's a valid concern. The person mixing the juice could have a serious drooling problem and you'd never know. LOL! Or they could be a cat lover and have a few cats rubbing around them while mixing. You just don't know. So really, for me, it's not about the price, it's about not knowing who's making it. However, you can say the same thing about any juice supplier, USA, China or otherwise.

Yes, all orders from China will spend two to four days in customs. They prefer to use more expensive faster shipping, but if you're not in a hurry, I've used their cheaper, slower shipping method.

Here are just some places you can order from:

    Welcome to Vapor Talk!

You can buy a drip tip when you order, or you can pull the filler out of the carts, remove the cart to drip. You've made a good choice in the eGo.

Below are just a few places you can order from... there are many more. Check out the supporting suppliers (bottom of the forum) and the certified supplier list (link at top of forum).

Electronicstix ($70 Full eGo Kit - Use VTALK10 for 10% discount)

Vaporgalaxy ($70 Full eGo Kit - Use VTALK for 10% discount)

    Cignot ($69 Full kit)

    Puresmoker ($60 Full eGo Kit)

Those are the ones. The batteries are $3.95 each if you buy them seperately. Looks like a good deal to me, with charger. I would add two additional batteries... you'll want at least 4.

Welcome to Vapor Talk! If you're leaning towards a 510 you're headed in the right direction IMO. Yes, a lot of the 510s are identical, just rebranded, but some are made by different manufacturers. The Joye 510 and Janty Dura are both made by JoyeTech and are the same thing. Personally, I prefer the Joye products.

    1. With a smaller models (cigarette size) you won't get great battery life. The standard Joye 510 battery will last about 2 hours (that was the max for me) between charges. Of coure, that will depend on how much you use it. A 510 starter kit will run you in the $40-$50 range. The Joye eGo, which uses the same 510 attomizer, will run between $60-$80. For the extra $20-$30 you get a battery that will last 8+ hours between charges. The standard 510 is a great model and many people use it happily, just giving you something to think about and many people start with the 510 kit and upgrade to an eGo down the road.

    3. The problem with automatic batteries is that there is a small hole in the end so that the censor can detect when you take a drag and activate the battery. If any eliquid leaks into the battery (and the atty will leak from time to time), it will ruin it. That's why most prefer the manual battery. It may seem odd to push a button, but it's really not - you get use to it.

Good luck and feel free to ask any questions you have.

I don't think the models will be compatible. The eGo is fully 510 compatible, so when getting replacement parts you can you can get 510 attys and cartomizers. I would get blank carts so you can fill them with your own juice. Regular 510 catomizers will hold around 25 - 30 drops of juice. The are refillable, but should be considered disposable, so after refilling a few times, toss it. Some people clean them and use them much long.

You don't have to have a drip tip to direct drip, just remove the cart to drip and replace the cart to to take a drag. Also, no threads need, the drip tip fits in the atty and has a rubber gasket around it to keep it in place. The juice will not run out with a drip tip... keep in mind you're only adding 2-3 drops at a time when dripping. If you do direct drip, be sure to remove any filler that is in the cart.

If you're dripping while using a regular cart, keep a tissue handy and wipe off any condensation around the end each time you remove it to drip. That will help prevent any juice/condensation from getting in your mouth (known as getting juiced).

Looks like an M series, but can't be sure.

Sorry you're not likeing the 510, but I think you'll be much happier with the cartomizers when you get them. Regular carts don't do a vary good job of letting the juice flow to the attomizer, which is why so many of us direct drip or use cartomizers. There are some other types of filler you can use (Fluval, Blue Faom) but even those didn't work that great for me. I think Kitsune uses carts and could give you good advice on getting them to flow better.

In retrospect, this is funny, so I thought I'd share it with everyone.

    This happened yesterday evening.

My house is two story. You go up two steps, turn left, and then go up the rest of the steps. So I had gone up two steps, was trying to get Joey (my 5 year old) to tell me what he wanted for dinner. He was standing at the top of the steps. The conversation went something like this...

Me: What do you want for dinner?

    Joey: Fish sticks and fries.

Me: We don't have fish sticks, how about chick nuggets?

    Joey: How about fish sticks.

Me: We don't have fish sticks, what do you want?

    Joey: Fish.

Me: (growing impatient) WE DON’T HAVE FISH! What do you want?

    Joey: Fish tenders.

Me: (getting angry - we go through this with him often) WE DON'T HAVE FISH!!! How about chicken nuggets.

Joey: Okay - chicken nuggets and french fries.

So, in my frustration, I forgot I was up two step and when I turned to walk away I missed the two steps and took a spill. Now my back is tightening up and my legs hurt. I hate getting old!

Torn between my Black SB (altsmoke.com) and the Joker AV (vaprlife.com). Still use the BSB most so I guess it's still my favorite. Running 6V with 510 on the BSB, 5V with carto on the Joker for driving.
