  3. Though most everyone knows Leaford for his video reviews, I'm more interested in how long he's been a vaper. He started vaping well over 2 years ago. Back then there wasn't all the vendors and resources like there are now. I don't even know if there were any U.S. vendors in May 2008. I wonder how, at such an early stage, he even discovered e-cigarettes.

  4. This Sunday, October 17th at 9:00pm est will be "An hour with Leaford" If your a veteran vaper then you probably remember Leafords video reviews. He was the very first e-cigarette reviewer on youtube. This review was his first dated June 21st, 2008. If you would like you can also e-mail any questions and comments for Leaford to info@vapersplace.com.

  5. Due to the recent announcement by the FDA there will be a special edition of VP Live this Sunday, September 12th at 9:00pm est. My guests will be two representatives from CASAA:

yvilla: Yolando Villa and Cit-e Steamer: Ron Ward.

Both of my guests are also practicing attorneys and will be able to answer any questions and clear up many misconceptions within the community. I have also invited JustJulie to help me co-host the show. For the record, Julie is not on the show to represent any group or organization. She is on purely to be a co-host. So for those of you out there that want to have a better understanding of what is actually going on with the FDA or just have questions or comments for our guests I suggest you listen. Thank you everybody.

  6. Really wished he'd give the forum a shout out! :D (seriously Rush I'll send you some e liquid on the house)

It's nice to see ecigs go mainstream. It's going to be an interesting couple years ahead.

Just to let you know Chris, Volcano has been doing press releases in the past few days since Rush keeps on mentioning them and in the press release they talk about the community and mention vapersplace and vaportalk
  7. Ok lets get back on track. Damulta's parenting skills are not being called into question at all. I'm sure he's a great parent. The issue was having a video of a child demonstrating the mod. There are those that have, and will continue to say, that e-cigs and e- juice need to be banned because they are marketed towards children. To me this video can be used as ammunition against the vaping community. Eventhough the child says it is not to be used by children, I could see a clip of that video being used on a news segment with the talking head doing a voice over declaring that "We have to protect the children!"

I agree Jeff. Every negative news story about e-cigarettes will have that video playing in the background. I can just see it now....Fox News doing a report on the e-cigarette industry targeting children while that video plays.
  8. Actually it is the Phillip morris co that is attempting to purchase the original patent on the electronic cigarette that was created back in 1963 by an inventor that realized back then that smoking was killing people I learned this prior to my finding the forums and was researching about an e-cig I have attempted to look for the webpage I read that stated phillip morris wanted to buy the design but it seems to have disappeared into censored oblivion (Imagine That! ) its great to see and hear that the Federal courts have made this prelim ruling but its just the start to a very big issue when the FDA and the WHO orgs should be looking at the regulatory effects of smoking and putting a stop to all the harmful chemicals going into todays tobacco products besides nicotine ( YA THINK ?! )

what I wonder is this even if we all went to our private Doctors and asked them to test us over a period of time in our vaping career's and pass on the results to the FDA and to a regulatory advisory board it would prove to be a conformation that one we are open to work with the government to make people understand it isn't harmful but alas they would find a way to make it inadmissible to the courts and it would be in vain as we have no say to aide in the acceptance of this only money will talk for the vaping community....here's my .002 cents

    Peace and Vape On !
