With a different set up you'll find so many options -- e-liquid flavors, delivery systems, the choices are limited by how much money you want to spend.

Congrats on switching to e-cigs and welcome to VT!

Wow. And I'd like to introduce you to Mr. Kettle over here. That last line sounded suspiciously like a very real threat.

So you took exception to the content of this post. Why keep coming back to it? If it offends you so much, there's always the back key and then you won't have to read it anymore.

Honestly, all the members that I've had the pleasure to meet and talk to on this forum have been nothing but nice. They are welcoming and friendly with everyone, you included up until lately anyway. People have their own opinions. If you don't like one of them then don't read. It's as simple as that, really.

not all 0 mg liquids are flavorless. Lots of great flavors out there. The throat hit is definitely missing from most 0mg liquids, but there are some fixes to make it a bit better. There are many that need 0mg for medical reasons, and yes, its for the psychological effect.
I've made a few 0mg that taste great and at least have a little throat hit.

This review is waaaay late but here it is.

When I finally decided to try the eGo Twist I bought it from Brian at The Veteran Vapor. Also ordered the charger. The items came quickly and well packaged.

The first time I tried to charge it the threads were a little weird and I had a hard time connecting the battery to take a charge. Since the charger is a different type than what I use with my pass throughs I assumed it was just me. The second time I couldn't get it to connect at all so I contacted Brian. At this point I didn't know if it was me, the Twist, or the charger or all of the above.

Brian got back to me right away and insisted on sending out a new battery and charger immediately even after I told him I'd be happy to wait until he checked to see which one the culprit was.

He sent me a brand new Twist and charger priority. Inside the box was also a slip for me to reuse the box with the prepaid shipping slip to return the items I already had.

In the past with other vendors I usually had to pay to send things back. Only when they got the items and checked to make sure it wasn't working would they send out a replacement and possibly a refund on the shipping. Not so with Brian. The customer service I got from him was way beyond great.

He even got back to me with an update. It was the charger after all and the Twist was just fine. These things happen from time to time with any product. I don't expect everything I buy to be perfect every time, and it was in no way Brian's fault that the charger didn't work right. But it's the way the transaction is handled that makes all the difference.

Since then I've ordered as many things as I can from his store. The times when I contacted him asking questions, he's always answered quickly and politely. Of the things I've ordered, there were some extra goodies as his way to say, "thanks for the business!"

If you want great customer service, quality products, excellent packaging and quick shipping... I highly recommend Brian and The Veteran Vapor.

And Uma? Forget calling him Mark. I kept typing his name as Brain.

Sorry, no help here about the thor clearomizer. But I would recommend getting some T2 (eGo 2.4 ml CC (changeable coil) clearomizers) at The Veteran Vaper.

The second link is to the replacement coils. These are easy to use and very good -- just my opinion. And welcome to VT!

When I was just starting I tried dry burning them with my pass throughs. Most often they left either a burned taste or wasted the things altogether. After a couple of tries I just started to dry them overnight. That seemed to work best for me. YMMV, however...

Thats when you just line them up and keep switching until you find the ones you want for the day.

When all else fails, dripping is my friend.

    From Vapelite:

    10 - 3.0 Ω BOGE 510 atomizers in black
    10 - 2.0 Ω BOGE 510 atomizers in black

I think I'm in love with the 3.0 Ω. The vapor is so cool and smoooooooooooth. Thanks, Rixter, for the rec!

Since you prefer SR, I'm going to suggest IkenVape's IKV 901 SR Atomizer 2.5Ω. IkenVape produces some really incredible atties, and are the only place I know of at the moment who have quality SR and HR 901s. The complete IkenVape 901 lineup (LR,SR, & HR) can be found here.

Using an eGo drip shield, I start a fresh 901 atty off by dripping 6-7 drops in, wait about 30 seconds, and add a few more just before vaping. With said shield in place, I usually add 5-6 drops when vapor production starts dropping off.

The 901 is a different beast as it has an air vent hole in it's side, and as you probably already know from your research, the drip shield was invented by Empire Mods specifically for the 901 atty to contain the leaking e-liquid and provide a reserve. The big difference between the 901 and 510s/306s is that the 901 seems to still produces good vapor when it's flooded (coil submerged), where the others don't (in my experience).

Remember to get a couple because for some reason, higher end atties are a little unpredictable as to lifespan...my last one lasted just over 3 weeks, but I think I popped it by accident when I put it on my VV set for a HR atty.

I hope this helps and I'm sure that once you try a good 901, you'll have a hard time going back to anything else. I haven't been able to enjoy my other atties as much since I started using 901s...at least that's where I am now.

If you're starting college soon have you checked to see if there's a clinic on site? I know it's not the same as health insurance but it's something. Many colleges and Universities that do have clinics have the fees set into the student fees so you won't have to pay when you see the doc, get low cost tests, discounts on prescriptions... it's worthwhile to check it out.

    Just a thought.

    Good luck with school!

In one of me T2s I have a blend of 30% Starbuckets Mocha (6 mg nic, 50/50 PG/VG) and 70% Dulce de Leche (6 mg nic, 70 PG/30 VG). Lately, I've really been stuck on the Dulce de Leche flavor, it's really mellow but addicting. These are both from Sweet-Vapes. Other flavors that I switch off to are cranberry from The Vapor Room (12 mg nic, 75/25 PG/VG) and Vanilla Malt and the Chocolate Malt from EC Blend (both at 6 mg, 50/50, extra flavor).

As time goes by my tastes change and I'll go back to flavors that I didn't think were so great at first and find them wonderful. Other flavors that I chain vaped at first might not appeal as much but could make a come back later on. Then, you'll also find that flavors themselves change with how long they steep.

Next, we'll get you direct dripping. You'll notice a difference in how everything tastes...

*whispers* Hey, Kitsune! Am I doing this recruiting to direct dripping thing right? ^_____^

Just one? EC Blend's Chocolate Malt gets vaped at a slightly higher rate than anything else I have on hand. Light on TH, but for a dessert vape, that can be a good thing. At 50/50 PG/VG, which is EC Blends starting point mix, vapor production is excellent, and it tastes great (to me).
