ah yesss madvapes is going to have a very long shopping list from me lol. i'm going to get a few mini eGo's, some vision stardusts since they're only $4 now, a 2.5ml vivi nova, and some of those vision nano's.

Try a Vision Nano. It's small so it'll work on your eGo mini. It only holds 1 ml of juice, is a bottom feeder and so far it's worked perfectly for me. I've had two for over a month now and they still work well. Just be sure not to use something with too high a VG content (too thick), and let it set for a few minutes before using for the first time.

Glad to see you back, Blu!

When I use the tiny stealth adapters I generally have a hard time getting them off the atomizer. When they get stuck I use a small piece of rubber shelf liner to help get a good grip on them. Just cut a small square off and it works great for me.

My first introduction to EC Blend's site was from Rixter. He raved about the chocolate malt flavor from this vendor. Even though I have an allergy to chocolate (yes, I know. It's a terrible thing), I decided to give it a try to see if I could vape it. My first order was for a 15 ml bottle of chocolate malt and the same of vanilla malt (6 mg nic, 50 PG/50 VG, extra flavor).

They arrived very quickly and I tried the vanilla right away. It was very good, but after letting it steep for a week or so (as recommended on the flier sent with the liquids), it was even better! The chocolate malt was tried very carefully as I didn't know if it would produce a reaction. What a wonderful surprise to find I could vape this!!!

Since then I've been ordering all kinds of different flavors...in all nearly three dozen different flavors. Nearly all of them in the 5 ml bottles to see what I liked. There have been only two flavors that didn't taste good to me but all flavors, no matter who the vendor, is very subjective.

When I find a flavor I like I order bigger bottles. Pineapple and Dragon's Tear were ordered in 30 ml bottles.

Did I mention that EC Blends ships their e-liquids packed inside TWO sealed plastic bags? Good thing, too, because these two separate orders did indeed leak. Not much but just enough to smear the labels.

So I emailed them to ask for replacement labels. I keep empty glass bottles with drippers around so it was easy to transfer the liquid. I just wanted the original labels to put on them for reference.

They replied that they were aware of the problem with the bottles, changed the types of lids they were using and were sending replacements. Cool. Not only new labels but new bottles to boot! Imagine my surprise when the replacement bottles came filled with e-juice!

    Now that's great customer service.

Their website is full of really good, useful information. They believe in transparency in their business model so you know what they use. I really like that you can also request custom blends at no extra charge. There's a lot of different options you can choose in every flavor. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming, but on the whole, it's a very nice touch.

Their prices are comparable to other vendors, more often on the low side. The choices of flavors is amazing! They even have roast beef, pizza, butter, pepper, Worchestershire sauce and a variety of other...unusual...flavors. I haven't been brave enough to try those yet. Maybe someday.

All in all, I can't recommend their site enough. There's oodles of information about nearly everything e-liquid related on their site and their customer service is just amazing.

If you decide to try them out, I'd love to hear your experiences.

You may be inhaling the vapor wrong, which can cause a whole lotta coughing. Dont inhale it like we used to do cigs. Inhale slowly into the mouth first and then into the lungs. Dont mainline it directly into your lungs.

Bill45005, have you read this forum and the various threads in it? If you did, you would know that no veteran vapor on this forum would ever recommend a rebuildable cartomizer to a noobie. That's way too advanced for someone just starting out.

When I first got onto Vapor Talk I found a wealth of information given to me from the veteran vapors you so carelessly criticized. They were very careful to give me, a noob of just a few months' vaping experience, a lot of easy to understand instructions, sound recommendations to reputable vendors, and the support I needed to stay off analogs. Whenever I had questions, they answered them in such detail that even I could understand the concepts. Many times I had to ask a lot of questions but they never once lost patience with me and also gave me information with caveats that some things might be above my experience at the moment.

Please take a few hours and read through the new vapors threads. Also, the help it broke and general e-cigarette discussion threads. Then, after you do that, feel free to criticize the veterans of this forum.

the drip shield has done nothing but make my life easier since i got one. so take that for what you will.

yes a standard drip shield will slide over just about any 901 or 510 atty. i believe the ego uses a different type of drip shield so you may need to look into that.

Well, you can try the Joyetech eVic. It is at $130, I believe. You can dial in the voltage and whatnot to hit your sweet spot. I have not used one, but it is on my radar. I was just reading a post about the variables.

I have the Joyetech eGo with the 650mAh batteries and the are lasting me about 6 hours or so. 3-4 if I am hitting them fairly often. I got my starter from VaproKings.com as they are having a sale and i have a coupon code for another 10% off: VKBC
http://www.vaporkings.com/Joye-eGo-kit-in-matte-black-Genuine-JoyeTech-p/ego-kit-black.htm is the kit I got and it is $69 and change, making getting 2 kits below your $150 price range.

and yes, I am typing this from the gutter.

Yep! Using an eGo with one of those 1.5 ohm 510 atties... a drip shield... a Universal... and a drip tip right now at work! Perfect setup.

Oh yeah... AND 8 drops of ZOMBIE BLOOD !

I second the rec for Empire Mods and the universal drip tip. Not only does this funny looking over-long drip tip keep you from getting juice in your mouth, it also helps to cool the vapor a bit. I don't care for warm vapor, especially when I'm chain vaping using the direct drip method.

I've had some seriously great luck with these:

    http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/brdg5105.htm

To finish off the package... grab yourself a 'drip shield'(and sealed 510 extension if needed... don't need with a eGo batt), a Cherry Vape 'Universal' (http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/chrryuni.htm), and a 'drip tip'... and you are good to go. The 'Universal' allows you to seriously drip 6 - 8 drops of ejuice and not have to worry at all about juice spitting back in your mouth when you vape. I use them all the time because of this one feature they provide so well.... I had finally quit using atties with just a drip tip because of getting 'juiced' all the time. This is now a thing of the past and I can load an atty with 8 drops every single time! Heavenly.

I echo all the wonderful positive comments about Brian and his store. TOP NOTCH!!! Heck, he replaced my order just because it MIGHT not be a good enough product. I was astounded, and still am to be honest. Brian is a real gem in the vaping business.

Rixter recommended Boge brand atomizers to me for direct dripping and I've been stuck on them ever since. They consistently just...work. Some of the other atties I've tried are more a hit or miss, for me anyway.

I just recieved an order from Brian. I orderd from 'The Veteran Vapor' based on the reviews I read here. I am not sorry. Quite the contrary I'm extremely happy with the products I purchased from him. His guidance, professionalism and concern ended my search for a vendor. We posted for a short time and he ended my confusion. I'm enjoying my new Joye e-Go-C. I have been away from Vapor Talk way too long. Compared to my "old" RN4027 I look like a smoke stack. Brian is a great guy with a great product. He is unselfish and you can trust him. Plus fast delivery, well packaged and willing to help!

This review is waaaay late but here it is.

When I finally decided to try the eGo Twist I bought it from Brian at The Veteran Vapor. Also ordered the charger. The items came quickly and well packaged.

The first time I tried to charge it the threads were a little weird and I had a hard time connecting the battery to take a charge. Since the charger is a different type than what I use with my pass throughs I assumed it was just me. The second time I couldn't get it to connect at all so I contacted Brian. At this point I didn't know if it was me, the Twist, or the charger or all of the above.

Brian got back to me right away and insisted on sending out a new battery and charger immediately even after I told him I'd be happy to wait until he checked to see which one the culprit was.

He sent me a brand new Twist and charger priority. Inside the box was also a slip for me to reuse the box with the prepaid shipping slip to return the items I already had.

In the past with other vendors I usually had to pay to send things back. Only when they got the items and checked to make sure it wasn't working would they send out a replacement and possibly a refund on the shipping. Not so with Brian. The customer service I got from him was way beyond great.

He even got back to me with an update. It was the charger after all and the Twist was just fine. These things happen from time to time with any product. I don't expect everything I buy to be perfect every time, and it was in no way Brian's fault that the charger didn't work right. But it's the way the transaction is handled that makes all the difference.

Since then I've ordered as many things as I can from his store. The times when I contacted him asking questions, he's always answered quickly and politely. Of the things I've ordered, there were some extra goodies as his way to say, "thanks for the business!"

If you want great customer service, quality products, excellent packaging and quick shipping... I highly recommend Brian and The Veteran Vapor.

And Uma? Forget calling him Mark. I kept typing his name as Brain.

my vote goes towards a good vv device, and a solid de-bridged/de-wicked atomizer. you can dial in the juice's "sweet spot" and the vape is second to none on a good atomizer when compared to any carto/clearo imho.

hiccups are caused by irritation to the diaphram. Could possibly be from inhaling too deeply. Also, nicotine is a stimulant...you could possibly have a very sensitive diaphram, Other than that, not certain. Hiccups are a funny thing. for some reason, men are more prone to hiccups, their Diaphrams are positioned a bit higher in the chest cavity.....no really good cure that I know of....other than mayby thorazine.

Tam reacted to Rixter in Ego-C Question:
I like the functionality of the eGo-C Twist, but I don't like the dial. I think that most people here would agree that the Vision Spinner has adjustment markings that are much easier to see. You can pick up a 1300 mAh Vision Spinner from VapeLite.info for $24 shipped, or a 900 mAh Boge eGo-C Twist from VapeLite.info for $18 shipped.

Personally, when it comes to eGo-style VV tubes, I prefer using the Ego Pass-through VV that I got from free-cigs.com for $30.99 shipped.

I think it's better than the twist/spinner for a few reasons:

    1. It's got a wider voltage range than the twist/spinners. (3-6v vs. 3.2-4.8v)
    2. Since it's a pass-through battery, I don't have to unscrew the carto/atty/tank to charge it, so I can actually use it while it's charging. (not so with the twist/spinners)
    3. It's got lockable "plus" and "minus" buttons for voltage adjustment. (as opposed to a spinning dial)
    4. The segmented display shows battery status, voltage setting, and puff counter. (if you're into that sort of stuff)
    5. It looks really cool with a flange-ring and carto tank on top. (if you're into that sort of stuff)

    These are my perceptions.
