The eGo T is a type or model of battery as far as I'm aware. When I first started vaping in May 2012 I bought an eGo T battery, it was a "passthrough" which allows you to plug it into a USB port to charge it and still be able to vape while it's plugged in and charging. Shortly after that eGo came out with the eGo C battery that was a bit better (or so they said), than the eGo T. There are regular eGo batteries and there are passthroughs. They use different kinds of chargers.

I really do understand your frustration with all these choices and just wanting to get what you want so here is my recommendation to you. It's based solely on my opinion and experience with various vendors I've bought from and continue to do business with - complete with links.

Well, darn. I'm going to send you to Brian at The Veteran Vaper but he doesn't carry the passthroughs. I've bought from him many times and continue to shop there. I'm sending you his way because he's trustworthy and honest, gives excellent customer service and also is great about communicating with his customers. He's also a long time member of this forum, which is how I found his store. You can read my review of The Veteran Vaper in the vendor review section of this forum to hear what others have experienced in the comments.

    http://www.theveteranvaper.com/joye-ego-kit-matte-black/

That's an eGo C starter kit (not a passthrough but with two batteries you can always charge one while using the other). It also comes with two atomizers so you can direct drip if you want. It looks like it also comes with five pre-filled cartomizers (those are like atomizers with a filler inside that holds a fair amount of e-juice). Many on this forum love them but you have to keep the filler/batting inside wet or you get a burned taste that's pretty bad. It comes with a charger and AC wall adapter and an eGo cone. You screw the atomizer into the battery, put the cone over the atomizer and...you need a drip tip. Looks like a drip tip isn't included in the kit. No matter. Those things cost next to nothing. More on that later.

Okay, so, for $49.99 that's a great starter kit.

Just a tip -- I've found that some atomizers come with some kind of liquid in it that needs to be blown out before use. Take one and blow gently but firmly into the large open end. Hold a tissue or napkin lightly over the tiny hole near the threaded end of the atomizer to catch the liquid as it comes out. Keep doing this until no more liquid comes out. Dab the end to dry.

When direct dripping it's easy to flood the atomizer if you get happy with putting too many drops in at once. I do this all the time. Even now. *rolls eyes at self* When you get a gurgling sound unscrew the atomizer, blow into it like what I said above and also dab the tissue into the connection of the battery. You'll see liquid there, too. Screw atomizer back on and you should be good to go.

Now, if you're direct dripping you really need a drip shield to keep things from getting messy as there will be liquid seeping out of the air holes in the atomizer. For that you need to go to Empire Mods. You can also get drip tips there.

Not all drip shields cover the threads on your battery. There are two that do and they say directly in the name that it's for eGo batteries. The others (most but not all), will fit but they'll stop at the top of the threads on your battery. I prefer that those are covered but that's for purely aesthetic reasons.

    http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/egodc.htm

I prefer the types in the second link because there are four air holes in them instead of the standard two but pink and purple are the only colors available at the moment. I don't know how you feel about those although Jeff seems to like pink and has no problem with it.

Any of the drip tips that are for 510 will work for your set up. I prefer anything that isn't metal because I tend to chain vape when direct dripping and the metal can get...warm. Another thing I'd suggest is the universal drip tip.

    http://www.empiremods.com/product_p/chrryuni.htm

You can use it by itself (inserted into your atomizer), or you can insert a separate drip tip into the universal. It's funny looking and will make your set up long but I love it because it keep you from sucking liquid into your mouth when vaping. This sometimes happens when you direct drip and is very unpleasant. Because of its extra length, it also cools the vapor, which I prefer. You might feel differently.

Before direct dripping I would suggest you read the threads that are there about it to get tips. Or you could just ask questions here. I'm sure lots of people will chime in. They're wonderful about that here.

Then, with this stuff, all you have to do is get the e-liquid from the vendor of your choice.

Sorry this comment was so long but I hope it's helpful to you. Hang in there. It does get easier!

ETA: You can also get the Vivi Nova tanks at The Veteran Vaper. That's where I go the Vivi Nova mini and it works great, no leaking!

If you want to do some flavor testing I'd suggest direct dripping with an atomizer. I believe you can use those with clove flavors without any damage. Then, once you find the one you like from a certain vendor you can fill up the tank of your choice. Tanks and clearomizers have come a long way in a short amount of time. You might get lucky and not have them crack from the liquid. I know that when I first started the T2 and CE4s would crack periodically because I liked the Mojito flavor which was high in citrus. Now? No problem whatsoever and I haven't had one crack lately.

There really are a LOT of choices out there. Trying things and experimenting is half the fun with vaping. Good luck!

Thankfully, I'm good at thinking outside the box. After knocking over my eGo batteries just by looking too hard at them I got some toothbrush holders that hold them and work nicely. The next thing was to organize my ever growing collection of e-liquids. At first they kinda piled up on my desk. Then, I started putting them into little plastic boxes.

    Piled up on my desk.

With the way it was I couldn't tell what flavors they were until I pulled them out and looked. That wasn't working so well for me. So, I started looking around and found these nifty nail polish racks and it came in this week. My SO put it up on the wall for me today and...

These are nearly all of the bottles I have with the exception of maybe one or five. Yes, I'm either going to need another one or I need to get busy and vape some of these bottles empty. I'm thinking the latter option is preferable.

I got mine at AltSmoke at a decent price. In the early 20's ballpark.

haha, Tams, I couldn't agree more.
Come to think of it, I still have my first ever purple eGo from electronicstix. IT's about a year old, and has never been used. I can't bear to watch it get mucked up. I spent a year waiting and praying for purple to come out, and it finally did. It's in my treasure chest lol.
I vape my purple Twist every day though. Purple is now a namestay. Thank God!

I have the chrome one in the small size, and like, Tam, I wasn't happy with the button shelf thingie at first, but now I'm used to it. I hope to go back for a large purple one this month.

I used to smoke and vape and I then I lost interest in smoking. I quit without having to try very hard but I tried hard in the past and couldn't do it, even with chantix. Vaping made me want to smoke much less until I got to the point when I said it is now time never to buy cigarettes again. That was 3 years ago.

In your case, I don't see any harm in it. Using an eCig and hanging out with the smokers can be a pleasurable activity. Just don't over do it by chain vaping all the time and what ever you do, don't go back to smoking!

I got a purple one that came in last week! I love this thing and how long it lasts. The only complaint I have is the little "shelf" at the top of the battery under the button. Wish they could've made it flush with the battery. At least it's not sharp...

Well NO thanks to Uma, lol, I have caught the RBA bug. Tonight I ordered an IGO-L dripping atomizer. This thing appears to have potential. Stainless steel construction and for under $20...actually make that less than $15. Really? Ha! This should be fun! I plan to set up a silica loop wick on it and we'll see how that goes. Anyway it should be here in a few days and as always be ready for pics and questions. Happy Vaping!

    +10

At the ecig place, I could have bought 20 bottles for 45 bucks, with free shipping.
At the Specialty bottles place, I did buy 45 bottles for 20 bucks, and another 18 for shipping. Twice the bottles for the same amount of money. And like Tam said, very nice packaging and shipping. UPS (fast)
I don't know if they have a coupon or not, but like Tam said, they probably will if inquired. (then you can let us know what it is for our next trip lol).

More than likely you can...if you buy in sufficient quantities. Honestly, their shipping prices are very low no matter how small your order is. I love their dram bottles with the dripper tops for mixing flavors. They're also great about how carefully they package the glass bottles. After all the orders I've made from them I've yet to have any that come damaged.

EC Blend has Kretek Blend: "A smooth warm tobacco with a sweet clove Flavor. 09/23/11 We have made this Flavor taste more like a true clove cigarette, even down to the tongue numbing effect of clove."

They have several size, strength, and blend options available, and some of the best prices around. I, like many vapers here at VT, have used them repeatedly and remain a satisfied customer.

If you like to fiddle with things to adjust and customize I'd recommend EC Blends. Each flavor comes with some type of customization options. I've bought e-liquids from quite a few different vendors and lately I've bought everything from EC Blends. They have excellent customer service, a wide variety of juice flavors and 5 ml bottles so you can sample without having to buy large quantities that you might not like.

Just checked and they have several clove flavors there, too.

Personally, I love my eGO style batteries. My Vision Spinners are getting a LOT of use these days (900 mAh and 1300 mAh). As you go along you'll find what works best for YOU. Everyone's preferences are different so you'll want to take everyone's suggestions and find the best liquids and batteries that make you happy.

That's a smart move, buying the samples!!
There are also neat places for buying the little amber or cobalt glass bottles to store your juice in too. Some of the ecig shops have them, but if you decide to DIY your own juice at a later date when you're comfortable the bottle specialty shop is a neat place. (I just purchased 45 various sized bottles for the same price of 20 bottles with free shipping, so don't let the shipping price scare you!).

Oh I agree with the above posters. We're all on our own time schedules, and solution adventures. You'll find your flavor, volt, ohm, that works great for you. It's an adventure, pure and simple. Enjoy the journey, and count the smokes you didn't have, not the ones you did. Challenge yourself to add one more minus smoke to your count each week or day or whatever scenario fits your adventure. You'll get there. Don't be so hard on yourself!! Even slowing down is half the battle. Did you slow down at all before vaping?? ha! I sure couldn't. The more I tried to slow, or stop, the more I smoked. Vaping changed all that. The more I tried to stop smoking, the more I vaped through it. Guilt free vaping through a cig craving. God I love vaping! Good luck to you, relax, and count your blessings, not your sorrows.

Agreed. Both are essentially the same regarding quality and performance. Personally, I do think that the Spinner is a better choice than the Twist only because the voltage markings are easier to see than the ones on the Twist. Also, the Spinner's voltage dial is knurled, which makes it easier to turn than the smooth dial on the Twist.
