I have retired most of my Subtank minis, I mostly use Vapefly Brunhilde tanks now, they are a little smaller than the Subtank mini and hold more juice. No coil to replace and only take about 5 minutes to rebuild.

My Triton 2 also has a separate unit so I can rebuild my own coils if I want. There's about 4 of those around here somewhere...  😄

@Tam I have a closet full of old shinny stuff I stocked up lol

Yep. When the vape mail ban was announced I stocked up on extra tanks, coils and iSticks (over a dozen?). Also stocked up on coils to go with all my old Kanger tanks that I have on hand. I'm set for quite some time now. Got back ups for my back-up back-ups.

Welcome aboard I wish I could help I dont use any of those my sub ohm setup it a Kanger subtank mini on an 80W Istick

How funny that we both use "old" equipment, @cany. It's been a few years since I stopped buying all the new shiny things that came out and am happy with my Eleaf iStick Power 80W and Aspire Triton 2 tank. Just looked and it seems that Eleaf just "brought back" the iStick in a new iStick Power 2. The only real change I can see is that they stuck some leather on the grip and the price is higher.

Sorry, @Boston Brian, no help with your top choices, although I will say that I've never had any luck with the Vapresso brand of anything. Welcome to Vapor Talk and good luck finding a new rig that suits you best! You might try doing a search on Youtube to see some reviews on your top three.  :)

  4. Congrats on your retirement, @VapeMama! I just put my notice of retirement in a few weeks ago and my last day of work will be June 30th. Trying to get everything done so I can leave with a clean slate is keeping me very busy right now but my plan is to work extremely hard at doing absolutely NOTHING for the whole month of July. After that, plans are to tear into my apartment one room at a time to clean and purge and reorganize. Can't wait!

Have fun with the kids and grandkids! I bet they keep you very busy.  😄

  5. Hi all! Yes, it's all too quiet around here. I check in and keep tabs on who is registering. So many of the vendors signing up are hawking CBD or other products of that type. Not many actual vapers or wanna be vapers signing up these days.

With the vape mail ban in the works I've been stock piling all kinds of supplies. @FXRich I hope you'll keep us updated on how your vendor experiences wind up.

In other news... how the heck are you all? I want to hear how you've been, what you've been up to... who wants to go first?  😄

  6. Welcome to Vapor Talk. You're more than welcome to post discussions and comments on the forum but please be sure to adhere to the rules for vendors and do not spam the forum with links to your store unless you're in the vendor section. I hope you enjoy your stay at Vapor Talk.  :)

  7. Well, it's been about a year since this thread started - as well as the pandemic picking up steam. How's everyone doing?

We're doing well so far. My SO's father caught it in the care center where he lives but thank goodness he was asymptomatic. Since then he's been testing negative and has gotten his two shots. We're still waiting for ours. Apparently, when the Governor put "educators" on this list as priority for shots, those of us in higher ed don't fit into that category. We were relegated to getting it when the general public got theirs despite him wanting us open for business. We finally got notice last week that we're now on the list for late March.

Other than jacking up my SUV running over a big piece of metal left on the highway courtesy of a construction truck tonight, things aren't totally awful. That assessment may change when the guys at the shop get a look at the undercarriage and the twisted piece of metal under there. Also blew out one of my front tires - and I just bought brand new ones about a month ago. *sigh* No one was hurt. That's the most important thing but still... 😞

Hope to hear some good news from y'all!

  8. The first thing I'd suggest is to change the coil to a new one. I find that, when my coil is getting gunked up it tends to make me cough.

If you're vaping less and getting cranky, then try a juice with a little more nicotine in it. That will give you the same amount of nic while vaping less that you got when you were vaping more. Does that make sense?

Good luck, and let us know if any of this works for you!
