That was my plan. I was going to run down to the local shop and pick up some lower nic liquids. However, I have been using the 12 mg and I seem to not have any issues. Not feeling any side effects of nic overload and I finally figured out the draw on the sub ohm. Not harsh at all, but I really don't have any harsh flavors in my rotation to begin with. Once I got the hang of it, I was able to close up the airflow and seem happy. I am going to buy some lower nic liquids and make the switch in the tanks.  Guess I am just a bit weird and keeping an eye on how I am feeling so I don't overload. Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.
I want to add a disclaimer to my last post for all vapers wanting to go to sub-ohm route, listen to what Earthling789 said in his reply post to me!
Do not do as I do or am doing. I have been vaping for a very long time, I know the effects of nicotine overload! I am being extremely careful vaping 12mg in a sub-ohm tank!

My turn. Well...I took a very big jump into the pond. I am now the proud owner of a Cool Fire IV plus, ISub Apex tank and the Cleito tank. The Cool Fire is nice. Feels good in the hand and the buttons are sturdy. It is 70w with a built in battery. The Apex came with two .5ohm coils and the Cleito has a .4ohm and .2ohm coils.
I have been using the Nautilus and Protanks. These new tanks are kicking my butt. It took me awhile to figure out how to draw on these without choking to death. But the flavor is outstanding! OMG! I can actually taste my liquids now. I have the airflow wide open and the wattage set at the minimum for the coils. Will take me awhile to get used to it before I can fine tune it up or down. The only downside I see is cleaning the Apex tank. It doesn't exactly come apart like other tanks. I will share that with you all later. Today was a good vaping day.

The way I understand it is they are banning the portable electronic smoking devices, not batteries. As it reads, you can take your battery you just can't take your devices.
I see tube mods coming back with fake flashlight attachments, e-liquid being transported in shampoo bottles and the tanks/atomizers being broken up and scattered in with jewelry.

Flux, if you bother to read any of the archived posts... you'll clearly see that we promote smoking cessation, quality equipment, safety with equipment, etc.... and don't really condone vaping just to do "tricks" or blow huge clouds... Cloud chasing (or tricks) in the privacy of your own home is up to you, but far too frequently cloud chasing in public places (even parties) is all the media and anti-vaping groups focus on.  It casts a bad light on the vaping community (all because of a small percentage of vapers), and fuels the political drive for regulation, prohibition, taxation, and reduction of our freedoms in the name of "public health and safety".
Furthermore... there is no ONE RIG which will be the end-all-be-all for doing tricks.  Is there only one car for "doing donuts"?  Is there only one motorcycle for "popping wheelies"?  Is there only one microwave for reheating your soup????  Far too often we see the trolls who pop onto the board and ask these same questions on their first post... never to hear from them again, so you see our reluctance to assist or even make a suggestion...  YOU have to participate and let us know more than "I want to make jellyfish, tell me what to buy".  You may as well say "I want to scuba-dive, so tell me which regulator, mask, tank, and flippers are the best for me....

Earthling said everything I wanted to... just more eloquently than what was coming out of my fingers this morning.
We like to have fun here on the forum, even admins. That said, if you're here to stop smoking, we're here to help. If you only want to start vaping so you can do tricks with the vapor, there are probably better forums on the net that are better for things of that nature than here.
"...for getting very good milky smoke to do tricks can anyone help me? ... With tricks i mean stuff like O's and jellyfisch etc.. "
Yes, there are many members on this forum who can help you. Will they? Maybe, maybe not. Most of us on this forum did not start vaping to "do tricks", most of us started vaping so we could get off cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco and/or snuff. To quote a wise, old sage, "Tricks are for kids."
Also, because you're new to vaping, you do not get "milky smoke" from e-cigarettes, it's called "vapor." If you're getting any kind of "smoke", there's something burning and you'll want to check into that.

Hard to say from what you are describing. Are you charging it from a usb port? When you click it 5 times, are there any lights flashing on the battery? It is pretty hard to push the center pin down on the battery with one use. It usually will happen after several uses. You don't need to screw on the CE4 so tight for it to make contact. It sounds like the battery is bad, not the CE4. What kind of battery? There are many that come with a blister pack. I would take it back to the supplier.

BirdDog got a reaction from jasonculp in I love sales that aren't really sales...
I have watched this happen. Pricing team comes through, raises everything a few cents, then it goes on sale a week later. I worked in retail, mostly food, food usually only goes up a few cents. The sale usually made the price lower, even before the raise, but the retailer was still able to grab a few extra pennies.
Black Friday is a prime example of not having sale items in stock or a limited amount. But available stock also has to do with the volume and location of the store. If you are in a small area, that particular store might only receive a few of the items or none it all. A larger volume store will receive the bulk of sale items. If the item wasn't on the truck, before the sale, it will not be on a later truck. Yes, we did say "Sorry, our shipment didn't come in today. We will be getting another tomorrow." Most of the really hot deals were not available online either.
The only way to get a good deal is to shop the clearance sections.

Pink Spot and BeKuali were my go to for a long time. I needed to change things up and I have been using EC Blends and Mt. Baker. Mostly various fruit flavors from Mt. Baker and some of the Tobacco style flavors from EC Blends. My eliquid journey is a bunch of squiggly lines traveling in all directions. I have no idea what I want. I am lost. But having a good time trying out different flavors every few weeks.

You know it really bothers me the whole "China bad, 'Merica good." I'm going to be devil's advocate here and say that not all US liquid makers are exempt here. If I recall correctly 5 Pawns had an issues with Diacetyl in their eliquid not to long ago. (And I recall some members on the forum avidly supporting their quality) This isn't a shot at 5 pawns, I'm sure they've corrected the issue by now, but the point is, we should take every study seriously and not simply dismiss it because it's "probably Chinese e liquid."
While there are some top notch US liquid makers, you're naive if you really think China goes out of there way to produce low quality liquid. Sure some manufacturers might, but not all. (The same can be said equally for here in the US) I've visited a number of local retailers across the country some of which carry some seriously shady e liquids. I've seen Dekang facility first hand for example and it's not some shoddy warehouse pumping out liquid it's a literally a multi million dollar state of the art facility. (They make some serious quarterly profits and they have the capital to invest)
Some US liquid makers are mixing in the rear of their retail store. While "of course we don't use Diacetyl" might be enough for some people, why do we extend so much trust and leeway to US manufactures? (or any manufacture for that matter) I remember talking to a vaper who was loyal to X brand of e liquid because it's "safer than that Chinese ****" and I asked him, have you ever requested a breakdown report? Do they have monograph reports up on their website? At the very least are they mixing in an ISO certified clean room? The guy didn't have an answer and neither do most vapers. They just jump on the US bandwagon and say I vape this because I know it's safer.
Thing is, back when us old timers started their was legitimate concern over Chinese e liquids. It was the only source for e liquid at one point and because of trade secrets, very little information about how this stuff was produced. These days most manufactures worth their salt have no issue posting lab reports online along with at least some kind of certification. There is an e-liquid manufacturer on the east coast that I'm currently under an NDA with but they perform testing on 3rd party e liquids. While some of them passed free and clear for Diacetyl they failed for heavy metal traces. Others passed heavy metal tests but were shown positive for trade amounts of Diacetyl or Diethylene glycol. It was eye opening to see some of the reports. I'd asked why they don't display these reports online and because they themselves produce eliquid have been advised against it for legal reasons. But I can tell you, not all US liquids are as "clean" as you might believe them to be. (Same goes for other countries as well)
Late last year I attended a conference with some of the top manufactures in China and do you know what it was about? Safety. It was ensuring their liquid was free of unnecessary additives as well as ensuring the purity of their liquids before shipping out across the world. They were also working with some well known testing facilities out of Europe prior to TPD rearing it's head. I'm not saying you should choose one country over another or that China has liquid superior to US manufactures, I'm simply saying that spouting off that US liquid is good, China is bad is a really lumping some good manufactures in with a couple of shady ones. It's really no different here in the states with some brands mixing this stuff in the basement of their own homes.
Whatever liquid you're vaping, you should go ahead and email your vendor and ask them for reports. I say hold every brand accountable. Ask if they have reports for Nicotine level verification, Diacetyl, Diethylene glycol, Ethylene glycol, heavy metals, HPHC analysis and see how many of them produce results. I'm not voting for a nanny state here, I'm simply saying that some of this liquid costs 20-30 bucks a bottle and if you ask me, someone damn well better be investing some of those high costs in ensuring we have safe, clean e liquid. otherwise what's the point of switching to vaping other than less of a smell. I also don't think you should simply be confident in the brand you're using because it was "made in the USA."

For one person, it makes lots of sandwiches, salads and stir fry. It was really good! I hope you are not disappointed.

The local grocery bakery used to sell them in full and half sizes. I would buy the half size. For some reason they stopped selling them, the baker said she was surprised, the pie was popular. It was sweet, tasted like pineapple. Desserts with pineapple can be really sweet, but the pie was just right.
Had a craving, jumped on google and found a recipe. This is the first time I made this pie. Will have to see how it turned out. The recipe is simple.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
I made pies tonight! Pumpkin, cherry and pineapple. We are going to my brother's in-laws for turkey dinner. We are also bringing salad and some squash thing. We also made candied pecans for the salad, we were too cheap to buy them.
I was making the pumpkin pie and my mom actually asked me if I knew how to use a can opener. The look I gave here was priceless. Really? You don't think I can open a can? She started laughing, I thought for sure she was going to pee her pants.
FYI, for those that don't know, I live with my parents. I moved in with them a year ago to help my mom take care of my father.

BirdDog got a reaction from Tam in BeKuali e-liquid Vapor Talk
Most of you are aware there is a store attached to the forum. In the store is a line of e-liquid called BeKuali. The line was developed by the Vapor Talk store. Christopher, our supreme leader, was involved in the development process to create this line. The BeKuali line is manufactured to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality control. It is a 70/30 mix with nicotine levels ranging from 0mg to 24mg.
    https://www.vaportalk.com/product-category/e-liquid/bekuali-eliquid/
A couple weeks ago, Chris sent out a handful of samples to Jeff and I. Well, we whined and cried, got on our knees and begged for samples. That was lie, and the only lie I am going to tell you. We asked for the samples and he obliged. We are under no obligation to do a review or promote the product. But I am choosing to do a review of the 17 bottles that were sent to me. Jeff is more than welcome to add his thoughts and comments to this review. I have purchased a few flavors from the line prior to the samples and will include those in this very, very long review.
I have not tasted tested all the samples yet, but I can say for the price, the flavors are spot on. I may not like the flavor, due to personal preference, but I can guarantee the flavor matches the name and description. I have yet to try a sample that tasted off, flowery or chemical. The flavors were all tested using the EVOD glass and Protanks using the standard and dual coils available for those tanks. I move my wattage/voltage all over the board during the day.
These are the flavors I received: California Grape, Salt Water Taffy, Banana, Coffee Cake, Chocolate Wine, Coke Gummies, American Strawberry, Blueberry, Tootsie Roll, British Black Tea, Chocolate, Guava, Apple Cider, Cherry, American Tobacco, Espresso and Chocolate Coffee.
California Grape: Delicious! The flavor reminded me of the grape Bubble Yum chewing gum from my childhood. Very tart with that nice sweetness at the end.
Salt Water Taffy: This flavor is out standing. Very sweet and creamy. It isn't a fruit taffy, just the plain standard Salt Water Taffy that comes hand wrapped by the local country store. I would buy this flavor again.
Coke Gummies: It took me awhile to figure out what exactly this flavor was. It definitely had the cola flavor, but there was something else. The name really had me confused. I was at the Dollar Store and on the shelf was a cola flavored gummy candy. The big bright light in my head went on and I got it! If you like a good cola flavor with a candy thrill than this is it.
Strawberry: This flavor is one of my favorites and it will be added to my list to buy again. Very simple, tart and sweet. Easy on the palate from beginning to end. I just finished the bottle and wanting more!
Tootsie Roll:  If you are a fan of the candy than this one is for you. This tastes just like the candy without the chewy, stuck in your teeth aftermath. I have never been a fan of chocolate flavored vapes. I prefer to eat chocolate not vape it. But this flavor is spot on, no joke, spot on!
Apple Cider: Nice! I am not a fan of apple based flavors for vaping. I actually don't like apples. But I do enjoy a good warm apple cider in the fall. It has the nice apple cider flavor with just that small touch of cinnamon. Not the burning cinnamon flavor, but the flavor that enhances baked goods. This flavor paired well with a nice dark beer or a cup of morning coffee.
American Tobacco:  I am a junkie for tobacco flavors. I never knew what real tobacco tasted like until I started vaping. I love it. Tobaccos should have that nutty flavor and be smooth. Cigarettes kill that flavor. I have tried all kinds of mixes of tobacco liquids. The best are the Chinese mixes. Sorry American made liquids, but you suck when it comes to tobacco flavors. This one has the perfect nutty flavor with no aftertaste. It also leaves a nice lingering smell in the room. A lot of tobaccos will leave a stinky after smell This is very important when picking a tobacco flavor. I ordered this flavor before it was sent to me as a sample, and it is on my list of re-orders. My plan is to mix this with the Cherry sample that was sent to me and give it go.
Espresso:  Love this flavor! Creamy smooth and COFFEE! This is one of the flavors I purchased before being sent the sample. This is also on my list of re-orders. It goes well with morning coffee and baked sweets. If you are craving coffee late in the day, this will satisfy the need for a cup of joe or that expensive trip to your local coffee emporium. No worry about jitters or staying up late with this vape!
Vapor:  I haven't talked about vapor production for any of these flavors. I don't know why people include vapor production in their reviews. Does this blow big clouds? It is a 70/30 mix and will depend on what device you are using. The clouds from these liquids are just fine for me. I can see it on exhale but doesn't make me go blind. I am a flavor type of vaper, not a cloud vaper.
I will add more flavor reviews as I test them. 17 bottles is a lot of stuff to go through, and I usually only have 2 flavors in rotation at a time.
To summarize, for the novice, these are perfect to start out with. The flavor will be good. But flavor is subjective. You may not like it, but it will taste as described. I cannot deny that these flavors taste as labeled. If you are an veteran vaper and want liquids in your safety stash for back up or need to recommend something to a new vaper, trying to find their way, this is it! Bekuali is affordable and worth much more than what they are priced at. If you don't like it, then where is the loss? Cheap! Cheap!

I am waiting on some new Kanger Dual Coils with the Japanese cotton for the glass EVOD's and KPT3. They must be fairly new to the game because I couldn't find any reviews on them. The reviews I read on the supplier sites were not well received. I think most of the complaints were about burnt tasting liquids. Most of the people that tried them were probably novices and might not be aware that the cotton needs a good priming before use. No where on the description does the supplier say to prime. I have been watching a lot of review videos about the new sub tanks with the cotton coils and they all say to prime before use. So I will give them a good prime before hitting that button.
